Bubble Era (バブル, Baburu)[1] is a series of Aqua monsters used by Mimi Imimi and her manga counterpart in the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime and the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS Luke! Explosive Supremacy Legend!! manga. The series consists mostly of parodies of older Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, particularly female monsters such as "Mystical Elf"; many of these monsters have the same ATK as their original counterparts and/or 0 DEF.
Each members' designs and names relate to the Bubble Era[2] (likely the basis for their Aqua Type), as well as a general theme of the life and troubles of female office workers in Japan - e.g., aging, dating and partying - that reflect Mimi's status within Goha Enterprises.
After being chosen as the new Goha President by the President Drone, Mimi's Deck switches to DARK Aqua female monsters with a prison theme, although still following the Bubble Era inspiration. For her Duel against Romin Kassidy, Mimi instead uses a Deck of WATER and FIRE Aqua monsters themed around cooking, but again following the Bubble Era inspiration.
Bubble Actress is a related series that has the same concept, but focused on child counterparts of older Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

Playing style
The Bubble Era theme focuses on playing defensively, gaining large amounts of LP while controlling several Aqua monsters. Many cards in the series prolong the Duel by recovering the user's LP or hinder the opponent's attempts at reducing it. The Deck also have some control aspects by using cards such as "Dian Keto the Security Master" and various destruction Spells/Traps appropriate for various monster Types to keep the opponent on equal footing with the defensive user as they keep playing the grind game to outpace them and counterattack when appropriate.
The Deck plays well with the later-released Bubble Actress series, with certain cards from that series being able to cross over to this series through Type synergy. Similarly, WATER and/or Aqua supports such as "Rice Terrace Secure" and "Dolphin's Treasure Chest" are usable. Due to the Deck's usage of Level 8 monsters, "Trade-In" and "Yamata no Tsurugi" are both viable tech choices.
