"King and Attendant" (おうじゅうしゃ Ō to Jūsha) is the third chapter of the Magistus arc of the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Stories manga, and the twenty-second chapter of the series overall. It was first published on March 21, 2024, in the V Jump magazine.

Crowley, Rilliona, and Endymion go out on a field trip to practice elemental magic. Eventually, the topic of their discussions drifts to the reason why Endymion, a royal heir, relinquished the throne to his younger brother.

Summary

A boy is observing Graybeard from a distance using binoculars, while perched in a tree. He is suddenly startled by the sight of Aleister Crowley hanging upside down right in front of his binoculars. Crowley asks the boy if he is okay and if he has business there. The boy insists he has no business, begs Crowley not to tell anybody that he saw him, and runs away.

The boy stops near a stream to catch his breath. He worries that he has compromised the secrecy of his mission to keep an eye on Endymion. He recalls that he was told to read a memo when he got into trouble and takes out a slip of paper containing a pentagram symbol and some text. He recites the text and becomes entranced, focused on his mission concerning Endymion.

Crowley returns to his home and hangs his bag onto what he believes to be a rack, but it turns out to be Endymion disgusted that he made such a mix up. Crowley is shocked and asks what he is doing in his house, but Endymion simply grabs him by the collar and says to come with him.

Endymion drags Crowley through the countryside by a stream, where Rilliona watches them from the opposite side. The trio arrive at a large boulder and Endymion asks if it is part of some new research. However Endymion has put his research on pause, believing research done in times of peace to be of no use in times of need. Recollecting the incident from a few days ago, he says that he should focus on honing his offensive magic.

Since Crowley had previously claimed to be sensitive to the flow of magic power, Endymion grants him special authority to advise him on his magic. He then casts his "Hammer of Thor" spell, causing the boulder to be struck by a blast of electricity, leaving an impact crater. Rilliona is impressed, but Crowley critiques that it was lacking in style, sloppy, and that Endymion did not seem to be focused on how he wielded his power. Endymion is not impressed by the feedback and points his staff at Crowley, while he has it loaded for an attack.

Crowley goes on to explain that elemental magic is about the right person being in the right place at the right time with the right climate and terrain. An illustration of planets and a moon circling a star is shown as he describes this. He further explains that because there are so many factors involved, one has to simply feel it and using the appropriate amount of magic in that moment will synergize with the natural energy and increase its power. Crowley gives an example of what he was describing; Since there is wind blowing in from the forest, he casts a "Cyclone" spell and comments that in terms of elemental magic, wind is better than thunder.

The next day, Crowley has some sandwiches prepared and goes outside to find a place where magical power gathers. As soon as he steps out of his house, he is greeted by Endymion and Rilliona, who insist they will be accompanying him today.
