Rename

Their was previously an idea to rename this to "Ishizu (series)" based on this source (https://yugiohblog.konami.com/2022/11/ycs-pasadena-top-32-pairings-with-deck-types/). Seeing as it has official usage and is the most common term used for these cards in the fandom I would agree with this change. --84.203.4.20 (talk) 17:22, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

While it is common, the usage of parenthesis disambiguation in article names is ofen cause of confusion and mislinking, so I believe the unique "Ancient Tombkeepers" is a better choice. --XBrain130™「Ｘ（エックス）ブレーン１３０」 17:33, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

In the rename notice, "MAMA TCG CM", what does "CM" mean? "Commercial"?

I prefer to avoid using "used by the same character" as the theme/naming basis for a series if possible, since the cards should have something else that links them to qualify for a series page. Granted, this situation is a bit more complicated; "retrains of cards used by the same character".

Similarly, I wasn't too fond of the name PaniK's monsters. They have more in common than being used by PaniK, but unfortunately nothing that could be resolved into a concise page name.

In this case the current title used (Exchange of the Spirit) and the proposed change (Ishizu) are both names for other pages that already exist. Difference it Ishizu has been used in official capacity, while Exchange has not.

Unrelated but couldn't the page for Panik's monsters be named "Yami Adjusted Stats" or something along that line? Since that's the reason for their existence as a series.--84.203.121.192 (talk) 12:01, 7 May 2024 (UTC)

That is incorrect, "Exchange of the Spirit" is listed as one of the Deck tags on the database.

That's unverifiable and more on the subjective side, while the current name is consistent with site editing standards that have been in place for quite a long time. I see no need or reason to rename the page at this time.

Also, I still can't find the Magnificent Mavens commercial, and so I still can't verify the name "Ancient Tombkeepers", but even still, a description of the theme from a single commercial doesn't feel like a strong enough basis to name the page around.

Final note - while you can add a rename notice, you shouldn't edit the page content to use the rename suggestion unless the page rename is actually approved. Poor form and whatnot.TheycallmeBrick (talk • contribs) 15:35, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
