The history of a world riven by warfare. What will the numerous tribes and invaders see once their struggle is over...

Terminal World is a multi-part Solo Mode Gate in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and focuses on archetypes that featured in the Duel Terminal storylines.

Like most Gates in Solo Mode, each Duel can be played with either the player's own Deck or a provided Loaner Deck fitting the theme of the Gate, with separate rewards for each. Completing each gate for the first time unlocks the respective Secret Pack for 24 hours:

Alliance for JusticeEdit

The "Ally of Justice" alliance was formed to fend off invasive creatures from outer space.

Use the power of unity that transcends tribal boundaries to exterminate the oncoming "Worms"!

This sub-gate focuses on the Ally of Justice archetype.

Chapter 4: Duel 1Edit

Your opponent is Dueling with a Deck based around "Worm" monsters that have effects that activate upon flipping face-up. Using Spell Cards, they will attack you with monsters with fortified ATK.

Some monsters such as "Worm Yagan" have effects that activate when flipping, but since they are not Flip monsters, they cannot be dealt with using "Ally of Justice Searcher," which is useful when dealing with Flip monsters. Keep on the offensive, but be wary of what your opponent's Set monster could be.

Loaner DeckEdit

While "Ally of Justice" monsters have powerful effects against LIGHT monsters and face-down Defense Position monsters, there are also monsters that have effects that can be your Achilles' heel.

Try to determine which of your monsters can effectively counter your opponent's in the early stages of the Duel.

Once you get the hang of the Deck, we recommend using cards that support Machine-Types and aim to Synchro Summon your trump card Synchro Monster.

Opponent's DeckEdit

A Deck that utilizes Reptile-Type "Worm" monsters of Level 4 and below. Try using the powerful strategy of sending "Worm Yagan" to the Graveyard with the effect of "Worm Xex", then Special Summoning "Worm Yagan" from the Graveyard in face-down Defense Position with its own effect.

To take advantage of effects that can be activated when a card is flipped, use Spell and Trap cards to supplement ATK and DEF while battling.

Chapter 4.1: LockedEdit

You must use 300   to unlock this chapter.

Chapter 4.2: Duel 2Edit

Union monsters become Equip Cards that strengthen the monster they are equipped. In addition to effects that increase ATK and DEF, they often have effects that protect from destruction via battle or effect, so when destroying the opponent's monster via battle or a card's effect, make sure to check that the criteria for destruction are met before proceeding. Monsters equipped with "Torque Tune Gear" are particularly threatening as they are treated as Tuners, enabling the opponent to Synchro Summon.

Loaner DeckEdit

A Deck that incorporates a myriad of DARK Machine-Type monsters, as well as "Ally of Justice" monsters. Use the effect of the "Ally of Justice" monsters to bring out the effects of other cards. For example, "Ally of Justice Reverse Break" will be destroyed if there is a LIGHT monster on the field, but if you have "Desperado Barrel Dragon" in your hand, you can Special Summon it upon the former's destruction!

Opponent's DeckEdit

A Deck that contains Machine-Type Union Monsters that support "Ally of Justice" monsters.

A Union Monster is a monster that can be used in two different states: it can become an Equip Card that supports a monster, or conversely, it can be Special Summoned as a monster from its Equip Card state.

Make good use of Union Monster's characteristics to Synchro Summon "Ally of Justice" monsters.

Chapter 4.3: Duel 3Edit

The opponent will attempt to Tribute Summon high-Level "Ally of Justice" monsters while using "Monarch" Spell/Trap Card effects as support. Some cards to be wary of include "The Monarchs Stormforth," which enables your monsters to be Tributed for a Tribute Summon, and "Escalation of the Monarchs," which creates opportunities for Tribute Summoning even when it is not their turn. If 2 Level 8 DARK monsters are played, they may Xyz Summon "Number 22: Zombiestein." Make sure to prevent the Xyz Summon by dealing with the opponent's monsters one at a time.

  • Reward (Loaner): Icon ("Ally of Justice Catastor")
  • Reward (My Deck): 200

Loaner DeckEdit

The opposing monster will not necessarily be a LIGHT monster. If you cannot take advantage of an "Ally of Justice" monster's effect, use an effect such as that of "DNA Transplant" to change the Attribute of the opposing monsters to LIGHT.

Furthermore, take note of the effect of "Black Garden." Try to use the Special Summoning effect of "Rose Token" to Special Summon "Ally of Justice Cosmic Gateway," or Synchro Summon Synchro Monsters.

Opponent's DeckEdit

This Deck makes use of high-Level "Ally of Justice" monsters by utilizing "Monarch" Spell and Trap Cards.

For example, you can use the effect of "Eidos the Underworld Squire" to Tribute Summon "Ally of Justice Thunder Armor," use the effect of "Mithra the Thunder Vassal" to Special Summon "Ally of Justice Cosmic Gateway," and so on.

Chapter 5: GoalEdit

This chapter serves as a Scenario.

Mechanical Beings in SyncEdit

The mechanical lifeforms "Genex"—utilizing natural energy, secretively work to better the environment.

When the planet is engulfed in conflict, they, too, are drawn in.

This sub-gate focuses on the Genex archetype.

Chapter 1: ScenarioEdit

  • Reward: 150

Chapter 2: PracticeEdit

Learn the ins and outs of "Genex" Decks.

This chapter serves as a tutorial for using the Genex archetype.

  • Reward: 100

Chapter 3: Duel 1Edit

Some "Worm" monsters of Level 5 or higher have effects that do not trigger when they are flipped face-up. If you are too cautious of your opponent's face-down Defense Position monsters, they will end up Tribute Summoning a monster with a high ATK.

It's best to counter by Synchro Summoning monsters with high ATK. In particular, "Hydro Genex" is recommended because it is easy to prepare its Synchro Materials by making full use of "Genex Undine," which has the effect of adding "Genex Controller" to your hand.

  • Reward (Loaner): 100
  • Reward (My Deck): 150

Loaner DeckEdit

This Deck specializes in Synchro Summoning with "Genex Controller" and monsters of various Attributes.

Synchro Monsters for "Genex" Synchro Monsters sometimes have specified Attributes. If a "Genex" monster on your field doesn't have the Attribute you need, you can change its Attribute with the effect of "Genex Ally Chemistrer." This way, you'll have more chances for Synchro Summoning.

Also, if it is difficult to Synchro Summon, fight on by using cards with high ATK, like "Genex Solar."

Opponent's DeckEdit

Level 5 or higher "Worm" monsters must be Tribute Summoned using monsters as Tributes, but they have high ATK and DEF and powerful effects. To avoid being interrupted before the Tribute Summon, use "Worm Call" and "Card Advance."

"Worm Warlord" is a particularly aggressive monster that can negate the effect of an Effect Monster destroyed in battle, and continue to attack once more. Make this monster the center of your offense as you advance through the Duel.

Chapter 3.1: LockedEdit

You must have the Icon ("Genex Controller") to unlock this chapter.

Chapter 3.2: Duel 2Edit

The "R-Genex" and "Genex Ally" monsters have stronger synergy, making them ready for Synchro Summoning faster.

Watch out for "Genex Ally Triforce." It gains offensive effects depending on the Attribute(s) of the monster(s) used as non-Tuner Synchro Material. Especially when a FIRE monster is used as Synchro Material, you may take effect damage if the monster is destroyed in battle. Fight while paying attention to which "Scrap" monsters have been deployed and when they can activate their effects.

  • Reward (Loaner): Protector ("Genex Controller")
  • Reward (My Deck): 2

Loaner DeckEdit

This Deck focuses on "Scrap" monsters, which activate effects while destroying their own cards, and combines them with "Genex."

Special Summon waves of monsters by using "Scrap Wyvern" and "Scrap Golem."

If you Synchro Summon "Scrap Dragon" by combining the Special Summoned monster with "Genex Controller", you'll have two different ways to fight: battle with its ATK, or destroy cards with its effect.

Opponent's DeckEdit

Among the central cards in this Deck are the advanced forms of "Genex," such as "R-Genex" and "Genex Ally."

The powerful Synchro Monsters "Genex Ally Triarm" and "Genex Ally Triforce" have effects that vary depending on the Attribute of the monster used as the non-Tuner Synchro Material. Determine the necessary effects for each situation and fight flexibly.

Chapter 3.3: Duel 3Edit

A "Fortune Lady" monster's ATK and DEF change with the change in its own Level. Their effects to raise their own Levels and support such as "Time Passage" will make them more powerful monsters.

If your attack is delayed by "Future Visions", which banishes monsters that you or your opponent successfully Normal Summons, "Fortune Lady" monsters' Levels may increase or a powerful monster may be Synchro Summoned. Take advantage of Special Summons, which are unaffected by "Future Visions," to find the path to victory.

  • Reward (Loaner): Mate ("Genex Controller")
  • Reward (My Deck): 200

Loaner DeckEdit

This Deck utilizes "Armor Ninja" monsters as support for "Genex" Synchro Monsters which require non-Tuner Synchro Materials with specified Attribute.

The "Armor Ninja" monsters have a variety of Attributes, and by using "Air Armor Ninja," which lowers the Level of "Ninja" monsters by 1, and "Flame Armor Ninja," which raises the levels of "Ninja" monsters by 1, you can broaden the range of combinations of Synchro Materials.

Opponent's DeckEdit

This Deck utilizes "Fortune Lady" monsters as support for "Genex" Synchro Monsters which require non-Tuner Synchro Materials with specified Attribute.

Synchro Summon your desired monster by using "Future Visions" to get all of the monsters ready on the field.

Also, some "Genex" are Spellcaster-Type monsters, so they can be used as Synchro Materials for "Fortune Lady Every" or as monsters to equip "Wonder Wand".

Chapter 4: GoalEdit

This chapter serves as a Scenario.

  • Reward: Icon ("Genex Controller")

The Sword of Will - X-SaberEdit

How did this small group of elite mercenaries become the organization it is today?

Behind everything was the influence of two contrasting leaders.

This sub-gate focuses on the X-Saber archetype.

Chapter 1: ScenarioEdit

  • Reward: 150

Chapter 2: PracticeEdit

Learn the ins and outs of "X-Saber" Decks.

This chapter serves as a tutorial for using the X-Saber archetype.

  • Reward: 150

Chapter 3: Duel 1Edit

Many "X-Saber" monsters boast battle-related effects, and specialize in linking with other allies. Prepare with "XX-Saber Boggart Knight" and "XX-Saber Faultroll" to Special Summon high-Level Synchro Monsters. We recommend the high ATK of "XX-Saber Gottoms," and its effect that discards cards from the opponent's hand. It can also Synchro Summon and Xyz Summon various other monsters, so use of this ability to press the attack!

Loaner DeckEdit

Many "X-Saber" cards boast battle-related effects. Attack aggressively to forge a favorable situation for yourself. If you prepare cards like "X-Saber Pashuul" that can't be destroyed in battle and "XX-Saber Boggart Knight" that calls other cards, you can Special Summon powerful Synchro Monsters like "XX-Saber Gottoms." Exhaust the opponent, then strike the killing blow!

Opponent's DeckEdit

"Commander Gottoms, Swordmaster" has an effect that boosts the ATK of "Saber" monsters on your field. Raise the ATK of "X-Saber" monsters, many of which boast battle-related effects, and pour on the offense! Combine with support cards like "Sword of Sparkles" to keep the Duel flowing the way you want it to. Make good use of these tools!

Chapter 3.1: LockedEdit

You must use 300   to unlock this chapter.

Chapter 3.2: Duel 2Edit

The opponent will use "Igknight" cards, so aim to deploy many monsters with Pendulum Summons and the like. Carefully observe your opponent's cards, spot their weaknesses, and inch your way closer to victory. Quickly use Level 3 "X-Saber" monsters with effects like "Rescue Cat," then combine them with Psychic-Type monsters to Synchro or Xyz Summon monsters as the situation warrants.

Loaner DeckEdit

A Deck focused on Level 3 "X-Saber" monsters in combination with Psychic-Type monsters. "Psychic Wheeleder" and "Psychic Tracker" can be Special Summoned from your hand when you have a Level 3 monster on the field. Combine this with Level 3 monsters "X-Saber Airbellum" or "XX-Saber Darksoul" to Synchro or Xyz Summon straight away! "XX-Saber Gottoms" and "Cloudcastle" in particular offer a powerful combo, connecting right to "Phantom Fortress Enterblathnir." Try it for yourself!

Opponent's DeckEdit

A Deck that combines "X-Saber" and "Igknight" cards. Many "Igknight" monsters have effects that destroy itself in the Pendulum Zone to add proceeding monsters to your hand. Whiz through Pendulum Summon preparations, then deploy "X-Saber" monsters at once! Use this deployment to Special Summon a series of powerful Synchro and Link Monsters!

Chapter 3.3: Duel 3Edit

The opponent focuses on the deployment capability of "M-X-Saber Invoker," attacking with both Synchro and Xyz Monsters. Since they employ an abundance of powerful Xyz Monsters, you may face surprise attacks when you least expect it. The key to victory is utilizing "Tri-Brigade" cards that can be used in the Graveyard or through banishing, making you ready to regroup anytime.

  • Reward (Loaner): Icon ("Commander Gottoms, Swordmaster")
  • Reward (My Deck): 200

Loaner DeckEdit

A Deck combining "X-Saber" with the "Tri-Brigades." "XX-Saber Darksoul" activates when sent to the Graveyard from the field, and using "Tri-Brigade" monsters as Link Materials will make effects like "Tri-Brigade Revolt" that is much easier to use over and over again. On the other hand, "Tri-Brigade" monsters are easy to deploy and can be used to deploy "X-Saber" monsters in turn. Use the best of both camps to craft the strongest lineup!

Opponent's DeckEdit

An "X-Saber" Deck using Xyz Monsters. First, aim to Xyz Summon "M-X-Saber Invoker." Then use its effect to Special Summon a Level 4 monster, which will then lead to further Xyz Summons. Of course you can always try Synchro Summoning instead, depending on the situation. Create advantageous situations with "X-Saber" Synchro Monsters and a myriad of Xyz Monsters, then crush your foe.

Chapter 4: GoalEdit

This chapter serves as a Scenario.
