- This card appears in the first Japanese opening theme, "Bonds - Kizuna".
Fortune Cup[edit]
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's episode 6: "The Facility, Part 1", Tenzen Yanagi uses this card during his Ground Duel against Bolt Tanner. During Yanagi's turn, he Normal Summons this card in Defense Position. Yanagi then equips this card with the Equip Spell Card "Spirit Mask". During Tanner's next turn, his "Giant Ushi Oni" attacks and destroys this card. This activates this card's effect, inflicting 2000 damage to Yanagi. The effect of "Spirit Mask" then activates, forcing Yanagi to send the Normal Spell Card "Triangle O" from his hand to the Graveyard.
- This card is also shown when Yanagi shows off his cards to Yusei Fudo.
- Yanagi drops this card after Tanner's "Giant Ushi Oni" attacks him directly.
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's episode 7: "The Facility, Part 2", Yusei Fudo uses this card during his Ground Duel against Bolt Tanner while the former was using Tenzen Yanagi's Deck. During Yusei's turn, he Normal Summons this card in Defense Position. During Tanner's next turn, his "Giant Ushi Oni" attacks this card, but Yusei activates his Set Continuous Trap Card, "Totem Pole" to negate the attack. During Yusei's turn on the last turn of the Duel, he activates the Normal Spell Card "Triangle O", since he controls this card, "Crystal Skull" and "Cabrera Stone" to destroy all cards on the field, including this card. This activates the effect of this card and "Cabrera Stone", which would inflict 2000 and 1000 damage to Yusei respectively; however, the effect of "Triangle O" inflicts the damage Yusei would take from card effects, including this card, to Tanner, winning Yusei the Duel.
- This card is also shown when Yanagi shows Tanner his cards a second time.
- In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's episode 14: "Bloom of the Black Rose", this card is seen when Tenzen Yanagi shows his cards to Blister.
