- In episode 129, this card is seen in Yami Yugi's hand during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. Kaiba takes this card from Yugi's hand due to "Exchange". In the next episode, Yugi muses that "Exchange" helped him get "Slifer the Sky Dragon" into his hand, but it also helped Kaiba too; wondering if the card Kaiba Set on his last turn was this card, Yugi decides that he should take a chance if he wishes to win. "Slifer the Sky Dragon" then attacks "XYZ-Dragon Cannon", but Kaiba activates the Set card "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" to banish "XYZ-Dragon Cannon" until the End Phase. This negates the attack made by "Slifer", as its original target left the field.
- In the following episode, Kaiba Sets this card; later, "Obelisk the Tormentor" attacks "Slifer the Sky Dragon" (who had 2000 ATK due to its own effect), but Yugi activates "Spell Textbook" to discard his entire hand and draw one card. Since he drew "Card of Sanctity", the effect of "Spell Textbook" allows him to activate its effect immediately, forcing both players to draw until they have six cards in their hand. This raises the ATK of "Slifer the Sky Dragon" to 6000, but Kaiba activates this card in response. Since Kaiba had this card face-down for two turns, Yugi had to discard two cards from his hand. This decreases the ATK of "Slifer the Sky Dragon" to 4000. Both Egyptian God Cards were then destroyed in a Double KO.
