In episode 72, Lumis uses this card during his Tag Duel with Umbra against Yami Yugi and Seto Kaiba. This card was originally in Umbra's hand, but Lumis activates "Card Exchange" to exchange cards with Umbra. Lumis then activates "Chosen One" to select this card and two Spell/Trap cards from his hand for its effect and have the chooser select one random card. Lumis succeeds in the gamble, so he Special Summons this card. In the next episode, Lumis uses this card to attack and destroy "Blue-Eyes White Dragon". (He was about to use this card to attack one of Yugi's "Magnet Warriors", but he changed his mind due to Kaiba claiming that leaving "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" on the field could be a huge mistake that he may regret.) Later, Yugi's "Valkyrion the Magna Warrior" attacks and destroys this card, but this allows Lumis to activate "The Mask of Remnants", which equips onto "Valkyrion" and switches control of it.

In episode 90, Yami Marik uses this card during his Duel against Mai Valentine. He Special Summons this card by Tributing "Melchid the Four-Face Beast" and "Revival Jam". This card then attacks Mai's "Dunames Dark Witch", but Mai activates "Mirror Wall" to halve this card's ATK. "Dunames Dark Witch" then destroys this card, but this allows Yami Marik to activate "The Mask of Remnants" which equips onto "Dunames Dark Witch" and switches control of it.

In episode 99, this card appears when Yami Yugi was building his Virtual World Deck for his Duel against Gansley.

In episode 106, this card can be seen when Duke Devlin, Tristan Taylor, and Serenity Wheeler were building their Virtual World Decks for their Duel against Nezbitt.

In episodes 108 and 109, this card appears in Leichter's flashbacks to Seto Kaiba's childhood.

In episode 122, Kaiba selected this card at the start of the four-way duel between himself, Yugi Muto, Yami Marik and Joey Wheeler. He took the first turn, as his card was the most powerful monster selected.
- In the original, Kaiba says that he got the card via the ante rule of Battle City, most likely from his duel against Lumis and Umbra.
