• In Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 163 (Duelist Duel 104): "The Nightmare Chains!", Pandora uses this card during his Duel against Dark Yugi. During Pandora's turn, after Dark Yugi activates his Set Normal Trap Card "Mystical Rift Panel" to negate the effect of Arkana's Normal Spell Card "Beckon to the Dark" and use the latter card's effect to destroy Pandora's "Dark Magician", Pandora activates this card to immobilize Dark Yugi's "Dark Magician" and render it incapable of defending Dark Yugi by negating the effect of "Beckon to the Dark". Pandora's "Dark Magician" then attacks Dark Yugi directly via this card's effect. During Pandora's next turn, he uses the effect of his Field Spell Card "Ectoplasmer" to Tribute his "Dark Magician" and inflict half its ATK as damage to Dark Yugi, but the effect of "Ectoplasmer" allows Dark Yugi to Tribute his "Dark Magician" and negate the damage he would have taken.

• In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 06161: "The Master of Magicians, Part 2", Arkana uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. During Arkana's turn, after Yami Yugi activates his Set Normal Trap Card "Mystical Refpanel" to negate the effect of Arkana's Normal Spell Card "Beckon to the Dark" and use the latter card's effect to destroy Arkana's "Dark Magician", Arkana activates this card to immobolize Yami Yugi's "Dark Magician" and render it incapable of defending Yami Yugi by negating the effect of "Beckon to the Dark". Arkana's "Dark Magician" then attacks Yami Yugi directly via this card's effect.
