In episode 102, Crump uses this card as his Deck Master during his Duel against Téa Gardner. After Crump summons "Giant Red Seasnake", this card's Deck Master ability increased its ATK by 200. Later this card's Deck Master ability increases the ATK of "Flying Penguin" by 200. In the next episode, this card's Deck Master ability increased the ATK of "Defender Iceberg" by 200. Later this card's Deck Master Ability increased the ATK of "Penguin Torpedo" by 200. "Penguin Torpedo" then attacks Téa directly. "Penguin Torpedo then destroys itself at the end of the Damage Step. On Crump's next turn, he activates "Ocean of Regeneration" to revive "Penguin Torpedo". This card's Deck Master ability then increases the ATK of "Penguin Torpedo" by 200. "Penguin Torpedo" then attacks Téa directly again. "Penguin Torpedo" then destroys itself at the end of the Damage Step. This card remained on the sidelines until the Duel was over.

In episode 110, the four remaining Big Five members later tried to take the bodies of Yugi's friends by force as defeating them in Duels proved to be useless. Joey quickly summoned five monster to stall for time while he and his friends tried to get away on the truck. Crump, as this monster, destroys "Swordsman of Landstar". After defeating the monsters, the Big Five went after the truck, but the gang are able to get the truck started and escape. Eventually the gang end up in a desert and later crash. Before the Big Five can take the bodies of Yugi's friends, Noah captures them for questioning on their actions.

In episode 111, this monster and the Big Five's other Deck Masters appear when they confront Yugi and his friends. Later Crump uses this card as his Deck Master during the Big Five's Duel against Yugi and Joey Wheeler. Due to the Deck Master Ability of this card, "The Legendary Fisherman" gains 200 ATK. Later this card's Deck Master Ability boosted the ATK of "Catapult Turtle" by 200. After a while, Johnson takes over in Crump's place. Due to this, "Catapult Turtle" loses the ATK boost it got from this monster's Deck Master Ability. Two episodes later, Leichter activates "Dragon Revival Ritual" to Tribute this card, "Jinzo", "Deepsea Warrior", "Judge Man", and "Robotic Knight" in order to Ritual Summon "Five-Headed Dragon".

This monster is one of the first duelists available in Duel World mode using a WATER deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008.
