• In episode 44, this monster attacks Yugi Muto, Joey Wheeler, Mokuba Kaiba, and Mai Valentine while the gang were going through the desert on their "Niwatoris". Joey then summons "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" and uses it to attack and destroy this monster.

• In episode 121, this monster appeared as a Duel Monster Spirit within an alternate dimension. When Jaden Yuki and company headed for an abandoned submarine, this monster rose out of the sand. The gang hid behind a rock to avoid this monster from seeing them. It soon retreated back into the ground after it saw no prey for it to hunt.
