Card Rulings:Beast Soul Swap
OCG Rulings
- This card cannot be activated during the Damage Step.[1]
- Returning the targeted monster to the hand and Special Summoning 1 monster from your hand are not considered to happen simultaneously.[1]
- "Beast Soul Swap" can be activated even if you have no cards in your hand. (In this case, you will Special Summon the same monster that was returned to the hand.)[1]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[2] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise.
