Card Rulings:Giant Trap Hole
OCG Rulings
- You can activate "Giant Trap Hole" when one monster is Special Summoned to each player's side of the field, such as by "Spear Cretin" or "The Shallow Grave".[1]
- When "Grinder Golem" is Special Summoned, you Special Summon the two "Grinder Token"s, and then you Special Summon "Grinder Golem". Since the last thing to occur is Summoning 1 monster, "Giant Trap Hole" cannot be used, since you miss the timing.[2]
- "Giant Trap Hole" cannot be activated during the Damage Step.[3]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[4] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise.
