OCG Rulings

  • [Regarding the effect "Target 1 "Gold Pride" monster you control; until the end of this turn, it gains 500 ATK, it cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects, and it cannot activate its effects."[1]
    • This is the effect applied when this card's activation resolves.
    • It can be activated during the Damage Step, only from the start of the Damage Step to before damage calculation.
  • [Regarding the effect "During the End Phase, if a face-up "Gold Pride" monster(s) you control was destroyed by battle or card effect this turn: You can Set this card from your GY."[1]
    • This effect starts a Chain and can be activated in the GY.
    • If a face-up "Gold Pride" monster you controlled was destroyed by battle or card effect since the start of this turn, the effect of this card in your GY can be activated during the End Phase. Note that this card does not need to be in the GY at the time the face-up "Gold Pride" monster you control is destroyed by battle or card effect.
