OCG Rulings

  • [Regarding the effect "If your "Memento" monster battles, your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step."[1]
    • It does not start a Chain and applies while this card is face-up in the Field Zone.
  • [Regarding the effect "If a monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 of them; Special Summon 1 "Memento" monster with a lower Level from your hand or GY."[1]
    • It starts a Chain and can be activated while this card is face-up in the Field Zone.
    • It can also be activated during the Damage Step.
    • When activating this effect, target the destroyed monster in the GY or that is banished.
  • [Regarding the effect "Once per turn, during your End Phase: You can target 1 "Memento" Spell/Trap in your GY; Set it."[1]
    • It starts a Chain and can be activated while this card is face-up in the Field Zone.
