OCG Rulings
- [Regarding the effect "If you control a "Memento" monster: Target 1 card on the field; destroy it, then, if you control "Mementoal Tecuhtlica - Combined Creation", you can destroy 1 more card on the field."[1]
- It is the effect applied when this card's activation resolves.
- It cannot be activated during the Damage Step.
- When resolving this effect, destroy the targeted card. Then, if it was successfully destroyed and you control a face-up "Mementoal Tecuhtlica - Combined Creation", you can destroy 1 more card on the field.
- Each card is not destroyed simultaneously.
- The second card can be destroyed if you control any face-up "Mementoal Tecuhtlica - Combined Creation", and not just in your Monster Zone.
- [Regarding the effect "When an attack is declared involving your "Memento" monster and an opponent's monster: You can banish this card from your GY; all face-up monsters your opponent currently controls lose 1000 ATK until the end of this turn."[1]
- It starts a Chain and can be activated in the GY.
