  • The effect that destroys all cards the opponent control is an Ignition Effect. (It does not target.)[1]
A: If "Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad" is Xyz Summoned while "Skill Drain" is active, all effects of "Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad" are negated, including the gained effects. (Even if it is Xyz Summoned using 3 or more monsters as Xyz Material.) If "Skill Drain" is activated after "Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad" is Xyz Summoned using 3 or more monsters as Xyz Material, since the effect that makes "Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad" be unaffected by other card effects is applied, "Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad" is unaffected by "Skill Drain" and its effects are not negated.[2]
A: If a "Chaofeng, Phantom of the Yang Zing" that was Synchro Summoned using "Jiaotu, Darkness of the Yang Zing" as Synchro Material is face-up in the Monster Zone, the opponent cannot activate the effects of DARK monsters. Therefore, in this case, since "Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad" is a DARK monster, its effect that destroys all cards the opponent controls cannot be activated.[3]
A: If the effect of "Number 16: Shock Master" that was activated by declaring monster is applying, neither player can activate monster effects. Therefore, the effect of "Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad" that destroys all cards the opponent controls cannot be activated.[4]
A: Detaching Xyz Materials from the targeted monster is not treated as an effect that affects monsters. (Therefore, all Xyz Materials are detached from "Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad".) Following that, "Number 86: Heroic Champion - Rhongomyniad" with all of its Xyz Materials detached will remain with none of its effects, so it is returned to the Extra Deck, and if there is a Monster Card in the Graveyard among the detached Xyz Materials, you Special Summon as many of those monsters as possible from the Graveyard to the opponent's field in Defense Position.[5]
