OCG Rulings

  • [Regarding the effect "Cannot be destroyed by your opponent's effects while you control a "Centur-Ion" Monster Card."[1]
    • It does not start a Chain and applies while this card is face-up in the Field Zone.
    • A "Centur-Ion" Monster Card is a "Centur-Ion" card whose original card type is a monster. The condition "while you control a "Centur-Ion" Monster Card" is fulfilled whether you have one in your Monster Zone, or in your Spell & Trap Zone treated as a Spell/Trap Card.
    • Even if this card and your "Centur-Ion" Monster Cards would be destroyed at the same time, this card remains in the Field Zone without being destroyed.
  • [Regarding the effect "During your Main Phase, if this card was activated this turn: You can send 1 card from your hand to the GY; place 1 "Centur-Ion" monster from your Deck face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone as a Continuous Trap."[1]
    • It starts a Chain and can be activated while this card is face-up in the Field Zone.
  • [Regarding the effect "If a monster(s) is Special Summoned, you can (except during the Damage Step): Immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Synchro Monster, using monsters you control as material, including a "Centur-Ion" monster."[1]
    • It starts a Chain and can be activated while this card is face-up in the Field Zone.
    • It cannot be activated during the Damage Step.
    • After resolving the Chain Link made by activating this effect, immediately Synchro Summon 1 Synchro Monster using monsters you control as materials, including a "Centur-Ion" monster.
