- A: The second effect of Topologic Gumblar Dragon cannot be activated if your opponent has no cards in their hand.[1]
- Q: While my opponent has 1 card in their hand and my Topologic Gumblar Dragon is Extra Linked, I activate its second effect that discards cards from my opponent’s hand. If my opponent chains the effect of their Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit from their hand, so that they have no cards left in their hand, what happens?
- A: In this scenario, if your opponent has no cards in their hand when the effect of Topologic Gumblar Dragon resolves, you cannot discard any cards with that effect, so your opponent does not take 3000 damage.[2]
