• Regarding the effect "When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Vaalmonica" monster from your Deck to your hand."
  • It is the effect applied when this card's activation resolves. (If you activate this card from your hand, or if you activate this card that was Set in the Field Zone, it can be applied when resolving the Chain Link made by this card's activation.)
  • You choose whether or not to apply this effect when resolving the Chain Link made by this card's activation.

• Regarding the effect "If the 3rd Resonance Counter is placed on a card in your Pendulum Zone (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; take control of it until the End Phase, but it cannot declare an attack."
  • It starts a Chain and can be activated while this card is face-up in the Field Zone.
