Card Rulings talk:Trap Hole
there it sais "Prime Material Dragon: "Prime Material Dragon's" second effect works like "My Body as a Shield". "Prime Material Dragon" can negate cards such as... "Trap Hole".."
can prime material negate a trap hole chained to its own summoning? —This unsigned comment was made by 189.217.63.155 (talk • contribs) 00:27, August 8, 2008
- Yes, that is possible. At this time, "Prime Material Dragon" is face-up on the field, so it can activate its effect.

Chain[edit]
If I attack a Set monster [ATK 1100/DEF 2000] with Familiar-Possessed -Hiita [ATK 1850]and its Flip Summons, can I chain Trap Hole? And it causes a Replay? Where goes my attack? —This unsigned comment was made by 201.89.197.20 (talk • contribs) 19:25, October 11, 2009
- No, that is not possible. When a monster is flipped by battle, it is not considered a Flip Summon, so "Trap Hole" cannot be activated.

Just a note, it took me a while to understand that it is not a flip or normal Summon when the monster has been set and is then attacked. It is not considered a summon at all and is instead considered just a Set.Clorth 17:44, February 23, 2010 (UTC)
