Card Tips:Branded Expulsion
Traditional Format/OCG[edit]
- This card can be searched by "Springans Kitt", "Aluber the Jester of Despia", "Albion the Branded Dragon", "Trap Trick", "Trap Tracks", "Lady Labrynth of the Silver Castle", "Lilith, Lady of Lament", "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Angel of Blue Tears", "Farewelcome Labrynth", "Labrynth Set-Up", and other generic searchers.
- With "Branded Fusion", you can summon a Fusion Monster that lists "Fallen of Albaz" as material while sending a LIGHT, DARK, Level 8 or higher, or 2500 ATK or higher monster from your Deck to your GY, setting that monster up to revived by this card, while providing a proper Tribute for the cost.
- By using "Branded Fusion" to fuse "Ido the Supreme Magical Force" with "Fallen of Albaz" to Summon "Lubellion the Searing Dragon", you can use this card to Summon "Ido the Supreme Magical Force" to your opponent's field, locking them out of Summoning entirely.
- If the opponent is not playing an Egyptian God deck, Fusion Summoning "Albion the Branded Dragon" using "Ra's Disciple" as material to eventually summon it to the opponent's field with this card can also accomplish the same goal.
- If the opponent is not playing a "Gimmick Puppet" deck, you can summon "Gimmick Puppet Nightmare" to your opponent's field. As "Nightmare's" restriction effect is a lingering effect that applies as soon as it is Special Summoned to the opponent's field, they cannot use cards that would make "Nightmare" leave the field as a cost (such as "Forbidden Droplet") to lift the restriction.
- By using "Branded Fusion" to fuse "Despian Tragedy" with "Fallen of Albaz" to Summon "Lubellion the Searing Dragon", you can add "Ad Libitum of Despia" to your hand with "Despian Tragedy"'s effect, while using "Lubellion the Searing Dragon"'s effect to fuse itself and the "Fallen of Albaz" you used to summon it into "Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon". Then you can use the effect of "Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon", sending "Albion the Branded Dragon" from your Extra Deck to your GY to banish "Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon". During your End Phase, "Albion the Branded Dragon" can set either this card or "Branded in Red". Whether you fuse "Ad Libitum of Despia" away on your turn and search this card during your End Phase, or set this card on your turn and search "Branded in Red" during your End Phase, fusing "Ad Libitum of Despia" allows you to revive "Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon", allowing for a banish of an opponent's monster, followed by Tributing it for this card.
