Card Tips:Fake Trap
- This card can be searched by "Trap Trick", "Trap Tracks", "Lady Labrynth of the Silver Castle", "Lilith, Lady of Lament", "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Angel of Blue Tears", "Farewelcome Labrynth", "Labrynth Set-Up", and other generic searchers.
- This card is good in a Uria deck, where you will need a lot of Continuous Trap Cards.
- This card's effect is similar to the effect of "Imperial Custom", except that this card can prevent destruction of regular Trap cards as well.
- This card is especially helpful against the effects of your opponent's "Heavy Storm", "Judgment Dragon" and "Black Rose Dragon's" 'nuking' effects. All your Traps, both face-up and face-down, will be safe from destruction, but any cards your opponent controls would still suffer, leaving you with the card advantage that they were seeking to destroy.
- This card is very useful to protect:
- "Call of the Haunted" and "Wicked Rebirth", to help keep the monsters targeted by it on the field.
- "Wall of Revealing Light" after paying its cost.
- "Gravity Bind" in a stall deck.
- "Macro Cosmos" in an anti-meta or Macro deck.
- "Dragon's Rage" in a Dragon deck.
- "Skill Drain" in a Skill Drain Deck.
- "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" when it is activated.
- "Forgotten Temple of the Deep" in a "A Legendary Ocean", "Levia-Dragon - Daedalus" or "Codarus" deck.
- "Phantom Hand" in an Infernity deck to keep your cards from being banished permanently.
- "Imperial Order" (Traditional Format)
- "Starlight Road" to prevent the summoning of "Stardust Dragon".
