- Use cards like the "The Eye of Truth" so you know which cards your opponent has in his hands and you can discard the best card in his hand.
- "Amazoness Chain Master" are better cards to use that do not give your opponent extra life points and can be used the turn they are drawn; you could use "Mystic Box" or "Creature Swap" with "Amazoness Chain Master".
- Use "Secret Pass to the Treasures" to ensure Battle Damage for one round.
- You can also send monsters to your opponent's hand by "Hyper Hammerhead" or "Compulsory Evacuation Device" and then declare their names with "Great Phantom Thief's" effect to make your opponent discard them.
- "Mind on Air" will reveal your opponent's hand, so you will know what to discard.
- Since this card itself allows you to see your opponet's hand, you can equip it with "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" to give it multiple attacks - for it's first attack you can guess a card and for the second attack, you will already know what your opponet has. This can end up discarding 2 or more cards from your opponet's hand of your choice if you manage to guess correct the first time.
