Card Tips:Koa'ki Meiru Prototype
- This card can be searched by "Diamond Core of Koa'ki Meiru", "Koa'ki Meiru Urnight", "Koa'ki Meiru Boulder", "Iron Core Specimen Lab", "Gallant Granite", "Doki Doki", "Reptia Egg", "BOXer", "Frontline Observer", "Summoner Monk", "Primathmech Alembertian", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Resonator Engine", "Soul Rope", "Rescue Ferret", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be revealed for "Koa'ki Meiru Guardian", "Koa'ki Meiru Sandman" and "Koa'ki Meiru Wall".
- Use the token as the cost for "Koa'ki Meiru Initialize!".
- Combo this card's second effect with "Iron Core Specimen Lab". Have your other "Koa'ki Meirus" expire, get 2 replacements for each (one in your hand, and one on the field).
- A single token created by this card can be used to Tribute Summon "Koa'ki Meiru Valafar" or "Koa'ki Meiru Rooklord".
- If you have a "Koa'ki Meiru Urnight" on your field and don't want it to be destroyed, but don't want to discard an "Iron Core" from your hand to save it, use its effect to Special Summon this card, then let this card be destroyed to keep "Urnight" alive.
- Using the strategy above with "Iron Core Specimen Lab" will not only allow your key monsters to survive but it will also search for another monster of the same type allowing you to use it for the maintenance cost.
- Since this is the only Koa'ki Meiru monster whose self-destruction is part of its effect, and not a maintenance cost, it is an easy method of summoning the Meklord Emperors.
- Use a single copy of this card to keep several "Koa'ki Meiru" monsters with different maintenance costs alive for one turn. This is much easier than discarding multiple cores and revealing different monster types in your hand.
- Whenever possible, try to use "Koa'ki Meiru Crusader's" effect to return this card to your hand and normal summon it again each turn to keep your other monsters active continuously.
