- This card can be useful when your opponent Flip Summons a monster with low ATK or your opponent's monster with low DEF changes to Defense Position. Use with Windstorm of Etaqua or The Shallow Grave.
- Use this card with Savage Colosseum.
- "Mesmeric Control" is very useful in a Spider deck. Use spiders to switch your opponent's monsters to Defense Position and then activate this card. Works well as a Stall card or use it to repeat any effects you used this turn during your next turn.
