- Cards that change monsters to Defense Position, such as "Book of Moon", "Earthquake" and "Quaking Mirror Force", can be combined with this card.
- This card is extremely effective against "Superheavy Samurai" Decks, whose monsters generally stay in Defense Position.
- This card's last effect can be combined with monsters who would benefit from being destroyed by it, such as "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys", "Fire King High Avatar Garunix", "Graydle Eagle", "Yubel", "Yang Zing" monsters, etc.
- This card can be used in a "Crystal Beast" Deck in order to destroy "Crystal Beast" monsters and place them in the Spell/Trap Card Zones, setting up the use of "Crystal Abundance", "Rare Value", "Crystal Beacon" etc.
- If your opponent uses a card like "Negate Attack" or "Threatening Roar" to stop your monsters from attacking, a card like "Dimensionhole" can be used to temporarily remove this card from play thus avoiding its destruction effect at the End Phase of your turn.
