- This card's effect of forcing the opponent to skip their next Draw Phase as a result of battle is a reference to how Fenrir bit of the hand of Tyr during thier battle.
- Also, this card's effect is similar to that of the Spirit monster "Yata-Garasu", except it only activates when this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, while "Yata-Garasu's" effect activates after it inflicts battle damage.
