- This card's Japanese name, "Tomatomatryoshka" is based on Matryoshka doll, a series Russian dolls of different decreasing sizes that can be placed inside of the other.
- This is reflected in this card's effect to Special Summon another copy of itself from the Deck, which was depicted in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime; when this card Special Summoned a copy of itself, the top of this monster's tomato-like head popped off, revealing another "Tomato in Tomato" inside.
