This is my current Deck. It's ruled by the number of cards avialable to me. That's why there are only 5 xyz. Feel free to adress whatever could improve it. :) Icestrike2142 (talk • contribs) 20:13, July 24, 2016 (UTC)

- "Gravity Bind" is useless against Xyz Monsters, so change them for more monster removal, like "Compulsory Evacuation Device", "Ring of Destruction" or "Solemn Warning". --Missign0 (talk • contribs) 03:57, July 26, 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for your comment! :D Yea, I learned that the hard way. Those xyz were attacking directly and Gravity Bind couldn't stop them. But I feel it's useful against enemies without xyz or Syncro-/Fusionmonsters. Especially because it rarely stops my own gameflow at all. But I am trying something else as far as I can replace it with the cards you mentioned. Thanks again. ;)

Well, I can see where you come from. I personally wouldn't use the penguins, as their effects are quite slow, and nowadays there is tons of ways to prevent flip effects from happening. Maybe some alternatives to Hydrogeddon, there are a few level 4 sea serpent mons with 1800 atk that could work better for you (Forgotten temple and Aegis won't work on Hydrogeddon)
I do have a similar deck, I'll post it here for comparison. Mine has a bunch of monsters for variety, a few level 5s that can be summoned without tribute and can summon some monsters from the extra deck that help the group(or can be used on a pinch, really I wish I had more Water Synchros), but the real heavy hitters are Gogiga Gagagigo and Spiral Serpent (Been thinking about White Night Dragon). I would have more copies of both Codarus and add Forgotten Temple Underwater, but he is not the star in this deck. Basically a toolbox, special summon, attack directly, gain extra HP, Extra attack, recycle cards in the grave, draw more, target cards on the field or blow it up. Frankly a bit of gamble as I don't rely on traps.
Gagagigo and Friends.

Thanks for commenting ;)
I believe Aegis of the Ocean Dragon Lord can protect my Hydrogeddon as long as it's level 3. Same for my Blizzard Dragon. Both can't be targeted with Forgotten Temple, that's right. But I consider it more as food for Codarus. Hydrogeddon is good to fill your field with Monsters (to xyz-summon or tribute). With the effect of Aqua Spirit for example I can prepare an enemy Monster for my Hydrogeddonattack next round. It feels good to use my Hydrogeddons :D Love them actually <3 About the penguins I am not sure. I see your point, but they help getting rid of huge monsters easily; especially if they cannot be destroyed.
I consider this deck as more like anti-meta. So it's not too fast and it annoys your opponent whereever it can.
I compared it to your deck and I was unsure about the lack of traps. I feel it could be difficult to summon those tribute monsters without traps to protect (you got Aegis and 1x Gravity Bind for that, I know, but it's not that much...).
Considering the Syncros: I decided to play without, because I have no tuners. But I believe Syncros could be a viable option in many cases. I simply don't have the cards for that. :(
But thanks again for your points. :D
