Forum:Buster blader help?

Never really made a deck from scratch before. I'm finding that I usually have plays I can do, though sometimes I brick. Any help is welcome.

Yeah Buster Blader was just shot in the foot from the start with horrible design, even their own Fusion isn't supported by some of their stuff.

Drop the new Buster Blader completely, none of the current support helps get him on the board so he just gets in the way. run 3 of the original and 3 Emblems along with it. its important you get him and a Buster Whelp ASAP

Drop Karma, its situational (only works on mono-type non-pendulum decks) and you could use Shrink for better effect

3 Destruction swordsman fusions, the buster lock is the only thing this deck can really do, getting it up ASAP is your win condition.

Drop Shadow Impulse, more often than not your monster won't be destroyed, but get shuffled back or bounced. its meaty 2800 ass makes death in battle unlikely and Raigeki is about the only destruction effect that would hit it. doubly so if you actually have the Blader Lock up.

Also glad I'm not the only one who thought to use the Claw of Hermos

I personally wouldn't use cards of consonance, you only have 6 targets, and 3 of them you'd rather normal summon for the search, then tribute for Buster Blader. the other 3 are useless in the grave without buster dragon.....and its the tuner that summons buster dragon

For Extra, you do not need 3 Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer. you will never summon them all in 1 game

Get a Rocket Hermos Cannon, use a spare BB to make it, put it on another BB for double ATK wtih Piercing
