Finished - Harpie Deck

I'm back for the second time, and this time I would like to request a Harpie deck. It can TCG and OCG, because it's mostly going to be an online deck. No budget either. Also, make it as competitive as you can. Jones623 (talkcontribs) 20:45, March 29, 2013 (UTC)

I made one of these not too long ago, I'll make some changes to it and work out the few problems it had. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 21:03, March 29, 2013 (UTC)

With their new support, Harpies can be a powerful contender in the meta. Channeler is a one card Xyz summon by ditching a Harpie card, doesn't matter whether its a monster or a spell, so dead Hunting Grounds or any of the Harpie monsters can become an Xyz monster. If you have Channeler and another 2 Harpie cards you can go into Shock Master or you can go into Pet Mirage Dragon, you would use Channeler to ditch a Harpie card, grab Dancer and use her effect on Channeler, then use Channeler's effect. You can also go into Harpie's Pet Dragon to get a Rank 7 Xyz, Drago-Sacks can generate tokens so he wouldn't be able to get destroyed and Big Eye will steal a monster whether it be their boss monster, a monster to Xyz summon with, or just so you can attack for game. Hunter Owl is a beatstick and can get to be a pretty powerful one. Windrose acts as another Heavy Storm and a gigantic beater, with Hysteric Party, Daigusto Emeral, Queen, and Channeler you can get 5 Winds in grave fairly easily. Speaking of Emeral, he acts as a mini Pot of Avarice, recycling 3 monsters and drawing 1 which can be helpful when you run low on monsters. The spells and traps are fairly simple, Hysteric Sign gets you Egotist which will get you Cyber Harpie Lady and when destroyed 3 Harpies with different names from your deck to your hand. Only 1 Compulsory Evacuation Device because you can use Lightning Chidori in the same manner, return the Extra Deck monsters that will cause you trouble, or a monster that is hard to summon and mess with their next draw. The rest is pretty much staples. Will this work for you? Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 17:32, April 1, 2013 (UTC)

I've never used Harpies before, so I'll test it and see how it goes. Jones623 (talkcontribs) 19:12, April 2, 2013 (UTC)
Also, I think you meant Flying Kamakiri 1 instead of Flying Kamakiri 2 .
Yea I meant to put Flying Kamakiri 1, my bad, Its fixed now, thanks for telling me. I hope the deck is to your likings. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 20:56, April 2, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Raviel, Lord of Phantasms.

Hi, I was wondering if someone could give some guidance as to making a Raviel deck.

It doesn't need to be overly-competetive: it's only for casual play with a couple of friends.

I was thinking that since I don't have any real "top tier" cards like Solemn, stuff like that, that a possible way to go would be to stall until I get the fiends out. I know this would be slow, but like I said it doesn't really need to be competitive - the deck just needs to work basically.

Please no Tour Guides.

I've got Gorz, Dark Necrofear, 2x Raviel, Night Assailant. Also got access to a relatively decent amount of dark fiends, but only a few have "swarm" abilities.

No syncro/XYZ required.

Got most staple spells. Got Wabokus, Scrap-iron scarecrows, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Bob40001 (talkcontribs) 15:10, April 1, 2013 (UTC)

Note to self. Think Card Guard and Phantom Skyblaster, both can be played in triplicate and Raviel is a Special Summon, and as a cherry on top, both are really cheap, Skyblaster being around $1 a copy and Guard being around 10 cents a copy (Prices from TCGPlayer.com). Also, I'm pretty sure we need to include either 2-3 Dark Bribe or Safe Zone to help cover for Raviel after he's been summoned. Make your pick. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:35, April 3, 2013 (UTC)

Card Guard and Phantom Skyblaster look good. I think I've already got one Skyblaster. I think the Bribes would be better. Bob40001 (talkcontribs) 10:21, April 3, 2013 (UTC)

Remember to activate Fires of Doomsday during you opponent's End Phase, that way you're free to summon more monsters on your own. Play around with this deck on DN or YGOPro, either way I'm fairly confident it will work fine. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:34, April 4, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks very much! Bob40001 (talkcontribs) 08:48, April 4, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Help with Dragon Beatdown

Hi, Deckbuilders. This is a different sort of request. I have a decklist given to me a LONG time ago by Otakon7. Basically, this beatdown deck centers on the effect of Trident Dragion. The original list follows.

Montage'D a.k.a. Dragon Beatdown

As you can see, it is sorely out of date. Is there anyway this deck can be revised to be as competitive as possible in today's meta? No budget on this one. I'm really curious as to what you'll come up with. Would appreciate an Extra deck list as well.

Thanks in advance. ---Kungfu-mama (Talk) 13:51, April 4, 2013 (UTC)

Did you want to keep the Normal Monsters? I think it would be kinda easy to make Thunder End Dragon if you did. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:24, April 4, 2013 (UTC)
I just realized something...Red-Eyes Wyvern works with Red-Eyes Black Dragon and Delta Flyer works with Red-Eyes Black Dragon. Just saying, it's a useful way to use the extra Wyverns now that REDMD is Limited. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:27, April 4, 2013 (UTC)

Yup, totally agree. This deck was constructed prior to Delta Flyer coming out, but I know Delta is a great card. Would like to keep the Normals here (I admit, I'm totally stupid about BEWD, though even that card is up for chopping), but we're shooting for what works best. Don't know if you're thinking about a Rabbit build (or if that is even very viable) but that's okay by me too. Alexandrite Dragon, Rabidragon... there are a ton of possibilities. I just haven't had the time to sit down and research it all. ---Kungfu-mama (Talk) 13:02, April 5, 2013 (UTC)

Or Divine Dragon Apocralyph. ;D. ---Kungfu-mama (Talk) 23:03, April 6, 2013 (UTC)

I really don't know where to take this. I mean the basic fact is that Delta Flyer and Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit just make Trident too easy to summon, and as early as turn 2. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:47, April 7, 2013 (UTC)

Sounds like you're running into the same thing I did - there are so many ways to go. One of the things about the original deck that always gave me pause was the necessity of the Dark dragons, since the deck used Dark Factory of Mass Production. There just aren't that many good Dark dragons. Dark Factory may no longer be necessary, though, given the number of Light Dragons that have come out, and the support that comes with them. I mean, look at Radius, the Half-Moon Dragon, and Parsec, the Interstellar Dragon.

So, it all boils down to this: go ahead and go with your gut instinct, Ace. Shoot for the best dragon beatdown you can (The Tefnuit/Delta combo sounds fine), and I'll be very happy. Thanks. ---Kungfu-mama (Talk) 17:51, April 7, 2013 (UTC)

Might do something with this over the weekend if time permits. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:12, April 11, 2013 (UTC)

'K. Thanks, Ace. ---Kungfu-mama (Talk) 15:56, April 11, 2013 (UTC)

Hmm...I have one more question. I know you wanted the Normal beaters, but would you be at all willing to accept a Dragunity version of this deck, or are the Normal monsters just needed for you on a personal level? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 18:38, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

Would love Dragunity. Thanks, ace. ---Kungfu-mama (Talk) 19:03, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

As usual, I haven't tested this yet, so you'll have to put it through it's paces. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:41, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks, Ace. I'll give it a run through and get back to you if I have questions. You can mark this one complete. ---Kungfu-mama (Talk) 15:26, April 14, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Malefic Ur

I would like help making a deck using "Beast Machine King Barbaros Ür", "Malefic Cyber End Dragon" and "Geartown". Price is no object; it just needs to beat everything currently in use.

ps: This is my first time using this Wiki and I hope it works.

--Rch2trex (talkcontribs) 17:26, April 11, 2013 (UTC)

The only thing that can beat the top Meta decks is other meta decks, what you're requesting is really just an Anti-Meta deck, because Beast Lord Barbaros can fit into Skill Drain Malefics. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:59, April 12, 2013 (UTC)

Alright, this is what I am going to try. Could you critique it and make any suggestions. If this is not in the correct place in the forum or has any formatting problems, please let me know so I can correct them.

Malefic Ür

Rch2trex (talkcontribs) 00:04, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

I'll give you my first draft version a little latter. You also don't need the line break. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:09, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

Here are the Extra Deck and Side Deck I am using. I haven't figured out how to put them in the deck list box like the Main Deck.

About the Side Deck, the meta in the Salt Lake City ares has Merlantians both with and without Undine, Fire Fists, Fire Kings, Spellbooks of Prophecy, several varieties of Rescue Rabbit decks and some really annoying Remove From Play decks.

Rch2trex (talkcontribs) 00:34, April 13, 2013 (UTC) Side Deck 1 Cyber Dragon 2 Maxx "C" 1 Meklord Emperor Wisel 1 Book of Moon 1 Mystical Space Typhoon 2 Prohibition 1 Bottomless Trap Hole 1 Eradicator Epidemic Virus 1 Overworked 2 Royal Prison 1 Solemn Judgement 1 Starlight Road

Rch2trex (talkcontribs) 00:36, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

As for Side Deck Stuff, that's really a personal choice, but here's what I would go with...

But that's something I would run, make your side deck more personalized for your tastes. Also, before you take this deck anywhere, do some kinda of extensive testing with it, either go through a bunch of games on DN, or grab a couple of friends and do it the old fashioned way. Either way test the deck, and make sure you wanna run it. I suggest DN, as it's cheap. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:56, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

Oh yeah, you can also drop 2 Soul Drain in favor of Spellbook hate, not really sure what that would be pre-Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy, but see Forum:List of cards to side in against common decks. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:01, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks Ace SP, I'll try it out. Rch2trex (talkcontribs) 03:13, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

I just returned from WINNING a small local tournament with this deck. Went against Ancient Gear, Blackwing, Six Spam, Light Warrior, Pyschic and a couple of other decks. Nobody brought any Merlantian or Fire Fist decks, so more testing is still needed

Rch2trex (talkcontribs) 01:33, April 14, 2013 (UTC)

Awesome! Glad the deck worked for you, my only question is did you ever summon Barbaros Ür, and how did the deck seems to play overall? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:41, April 14, 2013 (UTC)

I summoned Barbaros Ur typically two or three times in each match. It makes a great wall when I was unable to attack for various reasons. The 3800 ATK is so hard for most decks to get over or around.Rch2trex (talkcontribs) 17:58, April 15, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Dark/Fiend

Hey guys, wondering if you could build me a competitive dark deck, and if you could, mostly fiends, or all either way. It's on dueling network so feel free to add some of the new cards in if you want. Maniac56 (talkcontribs) 01:11, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

If you want to wait a bit, DN should eventually have Evil Emperor of Terror - Genesis Archfiend, but not sure if that's what you wanted. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:23, April 13, 2013 (UTC)
Also, there's a all Fiend deck a few requests up that focuses on Raviel, Lord of Phantasms. Take a look if you want. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:24, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

I'd rather not wait for that card, as it doesn't fit the style I had in mind. I forgot to mention, I wanted the deck to be a swarm deck, with synchro possibilities if possible. Maniac56 (talkcontribs) 03:05, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

Someone asked me to help with a Fiend Quasar thing a few weeks ago, but I don't know how well it works. Let me test it a bit then I might have one that works and I can post it up. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 13:24, April 13, 2013 (UTC)

That seems great!Thank you in advance. Maniac56 (talkcontribs) 22:43, April 17, 2013 (UTC)

I sincerely apologize for the long wait, but I've been busy with school stuff and tennis, etc. As well as DN acting up, and then my Internet too...

How's that work for you? Phantom Skyblaster is the key card that makes plays happen, and the Quasar plays for sure. If you want another Birdman, because he's really good here but I just lacked room, you can probably drop the Torrentials for a 3rd copy and a Treacherous Trap Hole without hurting too much. Oh, and I suppose Claiomh Solais the Hazehawk is an option for the Extra Deck as well. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 02:59, May 2, 2013 (UTC)

Thank you. It's understandable, we all have our busy days. Nice work btw it looks great, I'll test it out soon and post on your talk page if I have any questions about it. Maniac56 (talkcontribs) 21:22, May 2, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - The Wicked Avatar

I would like a competitive deck based around The Wicked Avatar, no money limit. It must be tournament ready, so do your best. It should be oriented so that Avatar is summoned quickly and take full advantage of all of it's effects. Miraibuu (talkcontribs) 03:25, April 18, 2013 (UTC)

In that case, can we just do Frog Monarchs with 2 copies of Avatar? Sadly there's no real way to get to Avatar quickly, and running 3 copies is out of the question due to inconsistency issues. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:40, April 19, 2013 (UTC)

But can't you just use Golden Sarc/Diff Dimension Capsule? Then add cards that would help it stay strong, etc. 96.25.226.21 (talk) 00:42, April 21, 2013 (UTC)

P.S Oops forgot to Log in Miraibuu (talkcontribs) 00:43, April 21, 2013 (UTC)

We can do that. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:27, April 21, 2013 (UTC)
I'll throw this together over the weekend. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:07, April 26, 2013 (UTC)

--Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:01, April 27, 2013 (UTC)

No traps? Miraibuu (talkcontribs) 23:50, April 27, 2013 (UTC)

Frogs never really need traps. They just survive off of making a stream of Gachi Gachi and then just take control with Monarchs. The only trap I've seen run in Frogs is really Treacherous Trap Hole, since too many traps can just make Treeborn Frog dead in the water, which isn't an option for frogs at all. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:39, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

I see. Considering I've defeated a Reptilianne Deck with this one gives your point leverage. The duel was fast, considering that i got Avatar out in 2 turns and paired him with Number 96 Dark mist. Thanks a bunch. 96.25.226.21 (talk) 20:51, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

If you get lucky, you can mill off pretty much all of your frog cards on turn one. Having 9 cards basically disappear from your deck helps speed up your draws. Or was that the Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord version of frogs? Either way the same mill play is possible. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:04, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Madolche Naturia?

Hey guys just had a crazy idea of trying to combine Madolche and Naturia. I really like Madolches cause of Queens effect and I've never tried to play Naturia but I know some Madolche Players run Beast and my thoughts were why not try and combine them both and see if they can be competitive or at least be fun to play with at locals. So far it seems to revolve on locking down the opponent using Queen, Bamboo Shoot and Beast. In my head it seems to work but so do a lot of thing but then don't but maybe my idea will click in someone's mind. Any way Thanks in advance for however decided to take this up So far my idea was to run

SnowyG (talkcontribs) 18:08, April 22, 2013 (UTC)

Thats definately an interesting idea you have there. It would most likely be used for more casual play than anything else, and depending on what people run at your locals it could do reletively well. I'll see what I can do with it over the next couple of days. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 19:46, April 22, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks the decks i can remember right now are Fire Fist, Atlantean/Mermail, Zexal weapon, and Turbo Junk Syncron. SnowyG (talkcontribs) 19:55, April 22, 2013 (UTC)

If all else fails and Shoot just doesn't work out, you can always go with Teleporting into a few Esper Girl and Psychic Commander. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:26, April 22, 2013 (UTC)

This deck is fairly simple, Cliff and Cherries serve as deck thinners and fodder for Hootcake, while also being able to pull off some Synchros and Xyz summons. Striker acts as another Tuner and can help get Barkion out easier. Most of the time Bamboo Shoot will act as a win more condition than anything since the deck can set up, and win without it but it offers some nice protection. If your have any concerns with it I'll try to rework it. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 15:17, April 25, 2013 (UTC)

This is actually almost identical to the one i was messing with except with out Striker and a few Magic Cards. The only issue is drawing all Monsters which can be a hassle sometimes but overall a really good consistent deck. Might make this my main deck instead of my other Madolche deck if testing continues to run well(5-1 the lose is because I drew 3 cherries and 3 Cliffs). Anyways Thanks Alot Much Appreciated! SnowyG (talkcontribs) 19:33, April 25, 2013 (UTC)

I've ran into that problem before, theres really nothing to do about bad draws unfortunately. But drawing into 2-3 Cliffs/Cherries pretty much kills all chances of coming back unless you have Bamboo Shoot. I'm glad you like it. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 20:03, April 25, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Getting back into dueling...Toons!

Hi! I have just recently got back into Yu-Gi-Oh and I would really like a Toon deck that is fun to play but really strong as well (I'm not too fond of losing). I don't plan on playing competitively, just with friends, so I'm not too concerned with tournament rules and such. The deck is completely up to you guys and your interpretations! As for a budget, I'd say around $60? I really don't mind too much if the price goes over. Honestly, I don't care for rare cards and such either. I just want to play and have fun! Thank! --Johntyl3r (talkcontribs) 00:11, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

There are a few Toon decks in the Decks for Free! Archives, you might like to look at: Forum:Decks for Free!/Archetype Gallery T-X#Toon If you find one you really like, let the deckbuilders know - they can always update it for you. If not, be sure to let them know that too. ---Kungfu-mama (Talk) 14:08, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

I took a look at the decks in the archive and I can't seem to find one that appeals to me. I'd really like to orientate my deck around Toon Dark Magician Girl, Blue Eyes Toon Dragon, Toon Gemini Elf, and Toon Summoned Skull. I'd really like to have those incorporated. I'm looking for a more modern, powerful Toon deck, but still very fun to play. Also, where do you guys recommend I get the cards? The local vendors here don't sell singles. I'm aware of http://yugiohmint.com/ and http://www.tcgplayer.com/ Is yugiohmint reliable? TCGplayer seems a little too expensive for singles. Thanks!--Johntyl3r (talkcontribs) 15:30, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

I've seen people use Troll and Toad, and do you really, really need Toon Blue-Eyes? The thing is obsolete when compared to Dark Magician Girl, mostly because she only needs 1 tribute and can attack when she's summoned. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:35, April 28, 2013 (UTC)
Just tell me which site you want to use and I can use it to make the deck. I'll assume you have zero of the cards needed to make a toon deck when calculating the price, although that probably isn't the reality. Also, the prices on TCGPlayer can be a little misleading, the high, medium, and low prices you get for a card when you search it don't tell the full story, they're averages, so you can sometimes find the card for less by clicking the card name to see a list of vendors. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:45, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

Well whatever you think! Umm. I'll probably end up purchasing a Blue Eyes just for the heck of reminiscing. I think I want to use Yugiohmint though because the prices look very cheap. Should I mention that I have the Seal of Orichalcos? And do you mind including an Extra Deck that might work for it too? If you can't make one that doesn't fit with the deck that's fine. I really appreciate this! Thank you!--Johntyl3r (talkcontribs) 19:06, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

Hope you enjoy it. Most of the deck should be really cheap, if a card is more than you would like to pay, then please tell me. I'll keep this request on the page until maybe Wednesday.

Also, since you've come back to the game, you should check out That Wacky Alchemy!, remember that it's effect will activate any time a face-up Spell Card is sent to the graveyard, so if your opponent uses Mystical Space Typhoon (MST) to destroy your Toon World, feel free to take out one of their monsters in retaliation, because MST will go to the graveyard when it's finished resolving. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:18, April 28, 2013 (UTC)

Wow, thanks! I'll definitely start building it. Is it okay if I analyze the deck and ask a couple of questions concerning the use of a different card?? Like how to make it even stronger if need be? Again, thank you!--Johntyl3r (talkcontribs) 01:13, April 29, 2013 (UTC)

I don't really care what you do with the deck, you can get 2nd options about it and what not. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:25, April 29, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - ZW Deck

Hey, would it be possible for you guys to make a ZW deck that uses the OCG weapons too,any rank up magic, Utopia Ray V and Victory, and V Salamander and the DZW? Kwkws (talkcontribs) 12:17, May 4, 2013 (UTC)

I'll do this. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 12:37, May 4, 2013 (UTC)

Thank you, there is no limit on the budget. Kwkws (talkcontribs) 12:54, May 4, 2013 (UTC)

Hi, this is the deck. Since the deck has very powerful beatdown strategies (Utopia Ray V and Victory), I run many cards to protect them from running into the opponent's traps. Card Guard is simply awesome, Star Drawing allows you an extra draw for Utopia, and in some extreme cases, it can help you Xyz summon the ZW Xyz. I use the original RUM, since Numberon Force can mess up ypur own strategies and Limited Barians' Force has no extra effect. Not too hard to use the deck, just go for Utopia then V or Victory and beat down the opponent. If you want, I'll change it, so please let me know if you liked it or not.

Nephthy (talkcontribs) 11:13, May 5, 2013 (UTC)

Thank you very much, the deck works pretty well, but I just have two questions, would it be possible to use Unicorn Spear in the deck, and would one instant fusion and one level 5 fusion monster in the extra deck be possible to help get out Leo Arms? It's okay if these changes aren"t possible because the deck is very good. Kwkws (talkcontribs) 13:49, May 5, 2013 (UTC)

You are welcome, I'm glad you like the deck. About Unicorn spear, I don't think it's a good idea. It doesn't work with the Rank-Up monsters, only the original Utopia Ray, making it much more situational. If you insist to use Unicorn spear, you can just swap any of the ZW cards, but I wouldn't recommend that. But the Instant Fusion is a pretty good idea! It works when you want to summon Utopia and also works with Leo Arms. I'd suggest to remove 1 Kagetokage and maybe 1 MST or Card Guard and replace them with 2 Instant Fusions. In the extra deck, you can take out King Feral Imp and 1 Utopia Ray Victory for 1 lv4 and 1 lv5 fusion monster. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 14:14, May 5, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Beginner Help?

This may be the wrong place to ask this, and you can take this down if it is, but I want your help with something. I have been learning how to play this game for a couple of weeks now, and I would like to request a deck that would be good for a beginner like myself. Any suggestions? SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 03:33, May 5, 2013 (UTC)

Are you looking for something Casual or Competitive? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 12:49, May 5, 2013 (UTC)
I think a casual deck would be more my speed. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 17:49, May 5, 2013 (UTC)
Did you have a budget in mind? Based on that I can probably whip something up. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 18:57, May 5, 2013 (UTC)
Nah, a budget isn't really necessary. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 19:03, May 5, 2013 (UTC)

If you want a strong, semi-competitive and semi-casual deck, then you can only turn to Heraldic Beasts! They have a great game, and their speed and sheer combo power is just too good to resist. Also, they're fairly easy to use, but extremely fun for the average player, in my opinion.

The basic idea is to search with Leo, and then go crazy with Advanced Heraldry Art! Goblindbergh and Photon Thrasher help set-up faster Xyz Summons, than Heraldry Art can do on its own. Tragoedia serves as a great boss-type monster for the deck, as well as being usable in a Rank 4 Xyz Summon.

As for the Heraldic Beasts, Basilisk serves as monster removal, Aberconway is amazing for getting more mileage out of Leo and Basilisk, and Twin-Headed Eagle is there because the deck searches through all the other targets very quickly and it can be somewhat useful for refueling a card like Number 16: Shock Master or Maestroke the Symphony Djinn. The Spells are all Staples, the only odd-balls are Advanced Heraldry Art and Heraldry Reborn, but Advanced Heraldry Art is needed for our basic play of making Rank 4s from the graveyard, and Heraldry Reborn is just more copies of the Limited Monster Reborn for the deck. The traps are all staple, and 3 Call of the Haunted helps make more Xyz Summons.

Just so you know, I've used Heraldic Beasts myself and loved them. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:51, May 5, 2013 (UTC)

Herardic Beasts, huh? Doesn't seem too difficult. This actually works out well because I watch the anime a lot and I get to feel like Vetrix lol. I'll try it. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 03:31, May 6, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Request for a Red Nova Dragon/Control Deck

Hello, I would like to thank you in advance for any and all help that you may offer me on the construction of this deck. I am specifically looking for building a deck similar to the name of my request. I would like a deck that would either involve/heavy utilize Red Nova Dragon, and focuses on controlling the field in my favor. I hope this does not cause trouble, as it intends the opposite, but I have no real care in the "type" of the deck (beatdown, mill, etc). I only have this request.

The deck be around or under $120

Again, thank you in advance, and I look forward towards collaboration on this deck. 108.185.196.217 (talk) 18:05, May 7, 2013 (UTC)

I know you had an account, so could you sign in again? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:13, May 7, 2013 (UTC)
Also, we have many Red Nova based decks in the archives and the easy to use gallery system. Did you see any that you liked. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:37, May 7, 2013 (UTC)

Aye, apologies, I thought I was signed in.

Yes, I looked at those, and I don't quite feel that they fit what I'm looking for/didn't fit my price range. I'm looking for something different, in the range of letting me control the field more then command it. Not necessarily a Beatdown, more along the lines of allowing me to keep RND on the field, and keep the flow in my direction if that makes any sense. I'm not a beginner to the game, but I haven't played in a while, and I'm looking to start fresh with this deck. I apologize for any headache this may cause. BlackstoneDM (talkcontribs) 01:54, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

So I'm guessing Resonators wouldn't be something you would want? It usually takes quite a few resources to summon Red Nova Dragon, and summoning it the first turn is usually just a quick solid way to create an almost unbreakable wall that immediately puts a ton of pressure on the opponent. The fact that you want to make Nova by getting rid of resources, and also maintaining control is what makes the request difficult. If you want more of a control feeling while still using Red Dragon Archfiend, maybe take a look at Red Dragon Archfiend/Assault Mode or Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode? Also, the fact that Assault Beast can be searched out by the relatively cheap Fire Formation - Tenki, makes this a cheap option as well. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:26, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

I would not mind Resonators at all, no.

The Assault Mode option seems like a good one, and certainly one I would not at all mind. The concept of having Red Dragon Archfiend and Stardust Dragon and their assault modes certainly sounds like it would add more flexibility, and I hadn't considered this. So since it also seems to be easier for you as the designer, let's go with that. I'm quite excited to see what you come up with. Again, thank you for taking this on. BlackstoneDM (talkcontribs) 06:08, May 8, 2013 (UTC)

Basically you use Flamvell Firedog to summon Flamvell Magician for an instant Level 8 Synchro Summon, or possibly a Rank 4 Xyz Summon. From their, search out Assault Beast with Fire Formation - Tenki to search out Assault Mode Activate. Summoner Monk can also be used to make a Stardust Dragon first turn, but you have to sacrifice a Spell card to do it, but it's worth it if you can get out Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode on your opponent's turn. Usually when using Monk, you'll summon Scrap Beast. Reborn Tengu is just useful for replacing itself, and being 1700 ATK.

The Spells are mostly all staples, Rekindling is great for reusing used up Flamvells, especially late in the game. The Traps are really where the deck gets it's bang. Assault Mode Activate is of course the only way to get to Stardust Dragon/AM and Red Dragon Archfiend/AM. Horn of the Phantom Beast makes Firedog, Assault Beast, Reborn Tengu, and Scrap Beast all pump up to an attack range of 2400 to 2700, plus you get to draw a card when the opponent's monster dies. The rest are staples, and Dark Bribe helps to maintain a little more control so you don't have to waste a Stardust Dragon/AM.

The main deck was about $65 on TCGPlayer.com, and the extra deck shouldn't make you go over $120. But if the extra deck should make you go over $120, drop Ally of Justice Catastor, Gaia, Black Rose, Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis, or Maestroke in any combination until the price dips below $120. Note that you won't actually be able to summon Catastor, Gaia, or Black Rose in this deck, but it's possible if you Monster Reborn an opposing Tuner, so you may want to drop these situational extra deck slots before cutting others in the event of going over budget.

I suggest testing the deck on www.duelingnetwork.com. It's a free site many duelers use to duel online. Hope you enjoy the deck, if you have any questions, please ask.

--Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:18, May 9, 2013 (UTC)

That was incredibly fast, thank you very much. I have no questions after just looking at the deck as to how it's used, but as I don't wish to be a bother, I shall ask my the guys at the local games in town about it.

My only question would be what cards could I use in place of the "illegal" ones like Dark Hole and Monster Reborn?

The deck looks to be precisely what I was looking for and looks to be a great way to get back into the game. Once again, many thanks. 01:42, May 9, 2013 (UTC)

See http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/index.html. Dark Hole, Monster Reborn, and Heavy Storm are now Limited in Advanced Format, which is what most if not all official tournaments are held in. There's also a PDF version you can print out if need be. The Forbidden and Limited List is updated every March 1st and September 1st. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:02, May 9, 2013 (UTC)

I was unawares of this, thank you very much. 108.185.196.217 (talk) 05:05, May 9, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Umbralis

since you r not doin the Celestial Dragon request, marl it as finished. I now want instead an competitive (or at least semi-competitve) Umbralis deck Guardmaster (talkcontribs) 19:17, May 7, 2013 (UTC)

Made this yesterday, works fairly well. Has some dead hands here and there, but can kinda get over that if it can get a Chamenleon. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:24, May 7, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Thief-theme Deck

Alright, I've never posted on Wiki before so forgive me if something is messed up here. Anyways, I've been trying to put together a thief-themed deck for a friend's birthday but I'm having issues making it work.

Basically, I'm looking for a deck centered around removing cards from my opponent's hand/deck (Specifically, things like Confiscation, White Magical Hat, Change of Heart, etc., as they fit the "thief" theme). It doesn't really matter if they go to the graveyard or banished or what. It's going to be just for casual play so banished cards are perfectly fine if they'll help.

I know it's not going to be a competitive deck by any standard, though I want something that can at least put up a fight, something which my own efforts haven't been able to achieve (though, my own card supply with effects of this nature are limited). I'm not really concerned about a budget so I'll just buy whatever I don'http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Decks_for_Free!?action=edit&section=21#t have. Also I don't really care what else the deck can do as long as it keeps that thief theme. If it needs to have a more specific focus though I'll find something. So... any thoughts?

Shadow Serenity 57 (talkcontribs) 01:16, March 30, 2013 (UTC)

Why not use Vampire Lady and Vampire Lord? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:50, March 30, 2013 (UTC)

They're in there already also, but the deck just doesn't mesh well and it's not consistent. I've tried looking around online for other builds like zombie-specific ones including those, but I haven't had any luck finding anything. It doesn't look like these types of decks are very popular (I guess with good reason since they're not exactly competitive level these days).

Shadow Serenity 57 (talkcontribs) 01:58, March 30, 2013 (UTC)

Pretty sure there's a Vampire deck somewhere in the Galleries. Just look under the Attribute/Type Gallery. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:06, March 30, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, look under the Attribute/Type gallery and then look in the T-Z Gallery. If you like that I can make slight modifications to that. Use Ctrl+F in the T-Z Gallery and search "Vampire". --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:10, March 30, 2013 (UTC)

Ah, okay. I checked the theme and monster galleries but didn't find anything, wouldn't imagine there'd have been anything that might work in the other two. Anywyas... before I devote your time to this, is there anything other than flat-out zombies that you think might be usable? If not, then go ahead with that plan. I'm just concerned because the person it's for already runs a zombie deck, but if that's all that works, then we'll go with it.

Shadow Serenity 57 (talkcontribs) 02:17, March 30, 2013 (UTC)

Ace, one of my old Convulsion of Nature decks runs Great Phantom Thief, White Magical Hat, and other cards to control the hand. I could fix it for Traditional Format. Do you think that will work for your friend, Shadow Serenity? Synchro Maniac10 (talkhttp://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Decks_for_Free!?action=edit&section=14#contribs) 13:38, March 30, 2013 (UTC)

No worries. I just don't want this taken down for inactivity, but I was afraid to post on it for no real reason. :P Shadow Serenity 57 (talkcontribs) 01:34, May 6, 2013 (UTC)

SOOO sorry for the LOOONG wait, but yea, tennis, school, and then my Internet so yea...anyways, here's the deck.

First of all, the deck is at 41 cards, I'll let you make the choice because the last card to cut is tough, but I'd probably pick between a Diva, Dark Hole, or Duality. The bread and butter of the deck revolves around Convulsion of Nature to gain advantage, via Gishki Diviner, Great Phantom Thief, Archfiend's Oath, and Mind Crush, and pin-points the card in their hand that bothers you the most. At times, due to the forbidden Spells, your opponent is left with little of a hand to start with. The key is having cards that let you dig through the deck to set up the combos, (Pot of Duality, Pot of Greed, Graceful Charity, etc.) and protection cards like Duster, Trunade, and Lance, which also makes sure you inflict damage with White Magical Hat 's and Great Phantom Thief's weak 1000 ATK. Diva searches Diviner for a quick + and lets you make good Synchro plays after, if needed. How's that? Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 02:37, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

I very much like this, actually, and it looks like I already have a significant number of the cards included so it shouldn't even be too expensive. So yeah, I'll give it a few test runs, but I think this is going to work just great, thanks! :) Shadow Serenity 57 (talkcontribs) 05:51, May 11, 2013 (UTC)
No problem, glad you like it! Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 22:21, May 13, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Chronomaly

Thanks for the Umbralis deck. it works well and has no dead hands so far, even constantly bringing out Number C's several times in 1 duel. Anyway, another deck I want is a competitive Chronomaly deck. Guardmaster (talkcontribs) 23:18, May 10, 2013 (UTC)

So, the deck is fairly simple and straightforward: spam Rank 3's and 5's. Skull puts together combo pieces and makes Bones a live, 1-card Xyz. Maxx "C" is really nice right now and personally I'd probably run a 3rd one and a 3rd MST over the Technologies, but I've left that call up to you, as its mostly personal preference, much like the Field Spell. Both work and have their merits, as Babylon lets you make an extra Xyz every now and then, but Xyz Territory provides staying power, and lets you easily make a 3900 or 4000 ATK beater with 2 Level 3's via the Xyz climb of Hyades -> Ptolemy -> Gaia (if needed). Another pretty cool option for the deck is to drop the Technologies and Dualities for 2 Doomcaliber Knights, 1 Dark Calling, and a Maxx "C" or MST, and slip a Evil HERO Dark Gaia into the Extra. Doomcal is cool because the deck doesn't always make a Normal Summon, and so he can be a decent card to drop after making a big play. What do you think? Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 22:14, May 13, 2013 (UTC)

I was buildin the deck, and i saw that there are 2 warnings, even though the current banlist allows 1. I'll just replace it with another Maxx "C" Guardmaster (talkcontribs) 18:40, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

deck works pretty well. I got a few dead draws, but i usually able to get out at least 1 Xyz every duel. Guardmaster (talkcontribs) 19:02, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, I don't really know how that happened... >.> probably from the template I took it from, but anyways, the second Warning was supposed to be a Safe Zone. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 05:00, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Dark Simorgh Complete Lockdown

Dark Simorgh Complete Lockdown: Combo between Dark Simorgh, Anti-Spell Fragrance and Tyrant's Throes. This deck requires both Dark and Wind monsters as well as Normal for Tyrant's Throes. I need help getting the combo set up faster.

Please help me figure out how to fine tune this Deck Idea I have. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Decks_for_Free!?action=edit&section=16#Morphingninja (talkcontribs) 19:12, May 7, 2013 (UTC)

I've made a deck based around this guy, and instead of using Tyrant's Throes, why not use something like Future Visions? Just play it after you've summoned Dark Simorgh correctly, and you're pretty much going to be golden. Obviously, Visions won't hurt decks that never have to use their Normal Summon, but many decks do have to use it. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:43, May 7, 2013 (UTC)
So you suggest replacing Tyrant's Throes? :/ i wanted to put a stopper on Elemental dragon Decks that are running rampant on DevPro, most decks I've been seeing are constant special summon effect monsters, I wanted to halt them in their tracks. Morphingninja (talkcontribs) 22:41, May 9, 2013 (UTC)

Summon Breaker! Chances are you won't really Special Summon more than 2 times a turn, unless you plan to totally just abuse Upstart Golden Ninja. Even though we can try to do something with Throes, chances are the deck will have to become much slower paced, plus there's no real way to search out Tyrant Throes, but we can search out Summon Breaker with Terraforming. If all else, we can just side in Royal Prison or Imperial Iron Wall. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:22, May 10, 2013 (UTC)

It was going to be a deck that stopped Effect monsters from being played by my opponent, most decks are using almost only Effect monsters and I was looking to trip them up. Was going to make it a field lockdown where no cards can be placed then burn for whats in their hand. Morphingninja (talkcontribs) 23:48, May 10, 2013 (UTC)
That's too much for a single deck to do, and burning for damage is really just not necessary. It's just not going to be consistent. If you need a deck to lock down the opponent, consider Herald of Perfection. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:20, May 11, 2013 (UTC)

OK so slash the burn damage, for How do I make a Dark Simorgh Lock Deck that includes monsters? Morphingninja (talkcontribs) 15:45, May 16, 2013 (UTC)

Alright, but I need to be clear on something. You want a deck that can use both Dark Simorgh and Anti-Spell Fragrance, right? Or do you also need to have Tyrant's Throes? Do you also necessarily need Ninja? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:39, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

Yes to Dark Simorgh and Anti-Spell Fragrance, but no other specific requirements other than also blocking opponent from using monsters. That's why I was looking at Tyrant's Throes because I believed it would combo well with Dark Simorgh, especially if I used flips like Des Koala. And Ninja were only in there since I could use Ninjitsu Art of Transformation to get out Simorgh quickly. Anyway, if you see an alternate field lockdown strategy for monsters by all means point it out. Thank you again. Morphingninja (talkcontribs) 15:21, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

I saw this deck a while ago, and thought I'd make some slight tweaks. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:33, May 25, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Clown Deck

Hi guys I've always wanted to make a clown deck but never really knew where to start so I come to you guys. Thanks in advance. SnowyG (talkcontribs) 18:15, May 16, 2013 (UTC)

Clown deck as in Clown Control or as in a deck like Lazar's? Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 19:11, May 16, 2013 (UTC)

A clown control deck SnowyG (talkcontribs) 19:20, May 16, 2013 (UTC)

Hi, if it's okay, I'll do this. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 08:33, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

And as a note beforehand, SnowyG, just be aware of the fact that Clown Control is almost completely outclassed by other grinding, removal-focused decks. It's not exactly bad, but struggles to differentiate itself from similar decks, like say, Volcanics. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 18:02, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

So here is the decklist, hope you like it. If not, then let me know and I will make the changes you'd like to see. The strategy is more or less common lockdown. You wait until the right moment then ativate the position changing trap and destroy the key monster on the opponent's field. Dyna is just too good to not play it. I also played Jowgen the Spiritualist, but there were too many monsters so I discarded that one. Not the most powerful deck of all time, but I think it's pretty good against most casual decks and some tier 1/2 that are not prepared. Ojama trio is awesome in locking down the opponent. The position changing traps trigger the clowns' effects and can be used as protection from attacks. I think the others need no explanation. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 08:06, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Looks like a fun casual deck to play thanks!! SnowyG (talkcontribs) 17:31, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

You are welcome! Nephthy (talkcontribs) 17:47, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Dice/Coin Toss Deck

I want to try this very interesting idea. I would like to request request a deck based on dice rolls and/or coin tosses (whichever is better). I seem to have a lot of these types of cards, so why not make a deck out of them? The only requirement is that I want to have Number 7: Lucky Straight in it. No budget. Can you guys do it? SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 23:09, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

I've seen fairly alright Coin Toss decks, as for Number 7, why? I mean we can do it, but we'd have to shove in things like Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast, Reasoning, Darkworld Shackles, and Machine Duplication. That's like 4 cards, that are going to take up valuable space and possible clog up your hands. We could also do Mother Grizzly, Fog King, and Inferno Reckless Summon. Either way, you're asking for inconsistency. At the same time, I could also include a random Machine suite of cards, Machina Fortress, Machina Cannon, Machina Gearframe, and Barrel Dragon. The bottom line is that #7 is going to add inconsistency, you sure you want it? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:52, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
It was just a suggestion. If it would make the deck inconsistent, then you don't need to use it. Yor're not hurting my feelings. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 11:51, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
Well, you could consistently make Number 7 with Dragon Rulers, and there's a few gamble cards of different attributes that could be played alongside them, but yea, if you really want that to be the biggest focus of the deck, it'll be better without Lucky Straight. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 18:10, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, I don't need Number 7 if it makes it inconsistent. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 18:26, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
Thinking for a while about this, and I have 2 ideas (except the "throw in a bunch of random coin-tossing monsters" deck). So I had an Arcana Force deck once, I can renew it to cope with modern decks, and there is this monster called B.E.S. Covered Core. So maybe a B.E.S. deck is possible based on this card and cards like Lucky Chance and Second Coin Toss to prevent the monster from being destroyed in battle. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 10:56, May 21, 2013 (UTC)
Sasuke Samurai 4 is important as well... --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 12:34, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

An Arcana Force deck sounds fine to me. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 23:35, May 22, 2013 (UTC)

Okay, then I will try to make this. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 04:49, May 23, 2013 (UTC)

So I was thinking bout something like this:

So, about the most important cards: Lucky Chance is the engine of the deck, just drawing cards. If you are lucky in coin tossing, you can call HEADS when summoning an arcana force monster, so you get the good effect and an extra card, although I usually call TAILS with this card, so if I don't get the effect, at least I can draw. This deck contains the really good stall combo of summoning Arcana Force 0 in defense mode. You can do this with Nova Summoner or Arcana Force III. If you get the right effect, you get a monster that cannot be destroyed by battle and cannot be targeted. For some decks, this is incredibly annoying. IF you get the wrong effect with any of the Arcana Force monsters, you can swap the monster for an opponent's stronger one with Creature Swap This is especially strong with The Fool if it's ever changed to attack position. The last card that has to be mentioned is Sasuke Samurai 4. I totally missed this card before, but it works really well with second Coin toss and Lucky Chance. The opponent just doesn't want to attack it.

Let me know what your thoughts are on this deck. If you don't like anything about it, I'll make the appropriate changes of course. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 10:49, May 26, 2013 (UTC)

I'll try it tomorrow; thanks Nephthy. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 03:22, May 27, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - I am so Excited

i am sorry that i keep bothering you all but i have a request. i have made my first good Deck by my slef (all the others i got from the archtype pages or here) but i have become very intersted in The Mecha Phantom Beast cards. i have spent an hour putting my own spin on the deck and i have some questions.

1. how dose it look?

2. should i try to take out cards to make it 40 cards total (it is currently 42)?

3. what eles should i put in the extra deck?

any comments would be helpful. Thanks --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 23:39, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

Can you go back and add in asterisks (Shift + 8 on top of Keyboard), that way you don't need an extra space between each of the cards. As for comments, I'll let the someone else answer, as I haven't played with these too much. I get the game plan, but haven't messed around with them. But maybe some of the new Phantom Beast monsters might be interesting? Such as Mecha Phantom Beast Harriard, who basically makes the cost of tributing tokens null and void, and makes Xyz plays quick. To see the newer Mecha Phantom Beasts, see List of All Phantoms and List of All Phantom Support. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:38, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
Although if it's for real life, then ignore the comment about the newer plane cards. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:39, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

It is for real life. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 13:07, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

also i would like to know what should be taken out for some Cyber Summon Blaster? --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 18:36, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

If you insist, then probably Planet Pathfinder, as you have no Field Spell to search for to increase it's utility value as a card. In this current deck, Pathfinder is basically an Elemental HERO Avian. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:30, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
It's not that great of a choice, though. I don't really understand why I've been seeing it a lot with Mecha Phantom Beasts...that burn damage is small. I still have my Geargia build of this deck that I can post up if you'd want to see it. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 00:53, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Planet Pathfinder is so i can use Tannhauser Gate for Number 9: Dyson Sphere. if that is not worth it please tell me but i want Number 9 to be the "Boss" of this deck. if CSB is not good i do not need it but i have a question: Should i take out Hyper Pyshic Blaster for Ally of Justice Feild Marshal (or light gazer i can not rember which one is levle 9 for Dyson sphere. by the way there is two of what ever that ends up being so i can XYZ for Sphere.) thanks for the offor SM10 but i kind of want to try modifying the deck i came up with but maybe as a last resort if this idea dose not work. what would you swap for a feild spell and what would it be? Rising Air Current? --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 01:58, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Why not just drop Pathfinder for something like Tin Goldfish? It gives you some devilish plays with Blackfalcon and Megaraptor. The play sequence would be Summon Solar Wind Jammer, summon Goldfish, summon Blackfalcon, then activate Gate. Only the end result is that you end up with a 2800 attack, a 1200 ATK Blackfalcon who can probably now attack directly thanks to Number 9, and a token off of Blackfalcon to protect itself. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:10, May 19, 2013 (UTC)
As for Hyper Psychic Blaster, where are you getting the Psychic non-tuner needed to summon it? Anyway, I'd drop Token Feastevil for more defensive traps in general. The logic is the same as Cyber Summon Blaster, it's a small amount of damage, and you'll leave your Mecha Phantom Beasts unprotected. Token Sundae is cool just because you can kill things with it, as for Thanksgiving, it's not that great, but maybe just leave 1 copy? Also, where's the Scapegoat? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:14, May 19, 2013 (UTC)
Also, why Victory Viper over Blue Thunder T-45? Yeah, Viper has more effects, but it's low ATK leaves it prone to quick removal from the field, I wouldn't suggest it unless you were trying for a real spaceship deck. Why just drop Ally Mind? It's not that great as a Level 5 Tuner, plus you don't have other Synchros, so it's probably a waste, I'd drop it for 2 Cyber Dragon is you want to get Number 9. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:16, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

alright to answer your questions:

  • 1. i did not read HPB text and i thought i could summon him.
  • 2. droping token feastevival is fine for somthing like negate attack or other sauch card.
  • 3. i forgot about scapegoat.
  • 4. i was planning on adding cards like united we stand so Victory Viper could gain attack and so could the token.
  • 5. ok on droping Ally Mind because now i would have to use two non-tuner monsters any way.
  • 6. i thought Cyber Dragon was allowed only one copey per deck and i want to play in advanced format.

and a qusetion: what would cyber dragon be good for he is only level 5.

oh yah and tin goldfish is ok i just like space a lot and thought it would be cool to put in planetery Pathfinder plus it can make Number 9 but if Tin Goldfish is better for competitive play than i am fine with it. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 11:47, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Blue Thunder T-45 is fine also. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 11:53, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Cyber Dragon is Unlimited in the current Advanced Format, I suggest checking Konami's Forbidden and Limited List next time to check. AS for why he would be good, he is basically a Solar Wind Jammer with 2100 ATK, but a little more restrictive. I was only offering him as a replacement for Ally Mind and the fact that you could use him with Tannhauser Gate. As for United We Stand, Equip Spells are questionable at best, the best ones are really things like the Noble Arms and Bound Wand as they make sure you don't take losses when your monster dies. That's about it. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:17, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

ok replace Ally Mind with cyber dragon but Gate only works with monsters with less than 1000 attack. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 15:29, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Whoops, then in that case just drop Cyber Dragon, maybe go with Genex Neutron if your Machine Tuners are really important to you. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:17, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

i just use them to get out the syncrons. speaking of which what should be put in the extra deck. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 17:40, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Nutron is fine. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 17:42, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Here (to the best of my knolwedge) is what it looks like.

if i forgot to put something just fix it and tell me. Thought we could use an updated list. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 18:05, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

Maybe Threatening Roar over Negate Attack, sure Negate is harder to negate, but Roar can be activated before the battle phase, and is chainable. Include things like Mist Wurm and other Generic Level 8 Synchros as well. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 18:55, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

can I make level 8? i was thinking more XYZ's but mist Wurm is a 9 so that is ok. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 20:13, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

what about level 6 syncrons because my turner is 3 and most of my tokens are 3. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 20:16, May 19, 2013 (UTC)

General tip: If you can make it, include at least one of that card. Since Solar Wind Jammer and Ally of Justice Cyclone Creator can make Level 8, include 1-2 Level 8 Synchros, since you can make Level 6, include a few of those as well. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:39, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

ok what about XYZ's. other than that is there anything about the deck that needs to be changed? --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 01:47, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

If I may, Turtleracer. It doesn't really add anything to your swarming capabilities. Gear Gigant X is a great extra choice for your Extra, if you can get it. Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms is also really good here, but it's just a thought. Your monster count could use a little trimming, as it's really high for Mecha Phantom Beasts, but I'll leave this up to you and Ace. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 17:57, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

Turtletracer prevents one MPB token from beging destoyed be battle that adds staying power until i can draw or genarate what i need if i have to drop something i was thinking Solidarity because i do not think every monster in the extra deck will be a Machine. as for Gear Gigant X that sounds nice but i would have to look up the dragon. Ace what do you think? --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 18:47, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

Here is the extra deck i have for DN i am just about to test it. Ally of Justice Feild Marshal x2 Mist Wurm Dyson Sphere x2 AOJ Light Gazer Tin Archduke

i know i need more but i want to test the deck first. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 22:39, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

i am having trouble with the deck i think it might be because i am not fimiliar with DN but i think this might not work. I have played aginst Armed Dragon Gladiator Beast Infernaty and lost each time. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 23:25, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

i am doing better i am getting used to the deck and DN but the two times i won the oppent surrened after i destroyed there boss with dark hole or switching it to def. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 23:44, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

That's something I would try, but I think the whole Number 9 thing is making the deck kinda inconsistent. Hopefully, when Number Hunters comes out, Skypalace Gangaridai will be kinda cheap, or it might be really expensive, just depends on the demand for it. I didn't include Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms because their isn't really a point without a Rank 7 in the extra deck. I also wouldn't mind if SM10 pitched in a bit, he has more experience with these. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:12, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

i am fine with SM10 helping i will try this on DN later. thanks.--Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 21:00, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

i have two questions

  • 1. why so many syncrons when i only have 2 tuner's
  • 2. is there anything to replace Feind's Sanctuary (i understand how it contributs but i do not like fiends)

--Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 22:53, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

i dueled using your version and won by dropping his lp to zero. i could have syncroned the second turn but i did not (i had to summon nutron and i wanted to try the MPB). --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 23:14, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

i summoned Number 9 using the gate combo and won using it (i do not think it makes it inconssitant but i might just be lucky) --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 23:54, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

The reason for the Synchros is just variety, you can drop one of the Level sixes and Black Rose if you want. As for Fiend's Sanctuary, there isn't anything as versatile and restriction free as that card. If you really needed a replacement, I guess Stray Lambs or Fires of Doomsday, but both need more setup than Sanctuary. But if you want something more on theem, you could try Aerial Recharge, or another trap that summons a token, like Golden Apples. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:22, May 22, 2013 (UTC)

i will try it but your right Feinds Sancutary is better. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 18:49, May 22, 2013 (UTC)

i replaced it with Recharge but that coast is kinda of steep to keep it on the feild. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 23:24, May 23, 2013 (UTC)

One reason I didn't include it, and the other is that it is a trap and is thus slower to use than Sanctuary. Anyway, I'll mark this as finished. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:59, May 24, 2013 (UTC)

thanks for everthing. it might be slower but if used at the right time it can help. i stalled aginst a Overmind Archfeind for 3 turins with that card. --Venom assult trooper (talkcontribs) 17:00, May 24, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Majestic Dragon

Could you now build me a competitive Majestic Dragon deck please? Guardmaster (talkcontribs) 00:47, May 18, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, I had this done after about 2 days, but my Internet has been ridiculous...I'll try to post this up in just a little bit if I can. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 01:01, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

Now, sorry about that, here you go.

I summoned one of the Majestic Synchros about 1/3 duels. You make Lv 8 Synchros with the searchable Guard/Corsesca + a Dragon Ruler or by Synchro climbing with Phalanx. The trickiest part to make this work was Level Eater, since it's a DARK Insect, haha. You have to try to draw into it or dump it with Tidal in order to summon a Majestic Synchro and start the loop. The loop's key card is REDMD, as it can revive Majestic Dragon every turn and serves as a target for Level Eater. But probably the coolest, best part about REDMD in this particular build is that you use Majestic Star's negate and nuke effect, and just bring it back with Red-Eyes on your next turn, or even the same turn if you didn't use REDMD's effect yet. It's a dirty, devastating trick. If you can't get the Majestics going, the fallback plan is to backup an easily summonable Stardust Dragon with a Rank 7, which is easy to make of course. From there, you can just grind the game out. The S/T's, aside from staples, pretty much either support the deck by searching, deck thinning, and bringing back banished Dragons, including Stardust/Red Dragon Archfiend and Majestics. Does that work for you? I also created and tested a Dragunity deck, but I decided that this build was better because it's not as linear. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 02:26, May 31, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Stone Statue of the Aztecs

Hi, I'm looking for help in building a deck that boosts the defence of my monsters so that the opponent takes a lot of damage from attacking. The idea is to force the opponent to attack (by using Battle Mania) a high-defence points monster likeDestiny HERO - Defender and Stone Statue of the Aztecs and then boost their defence with D2 Shield or Unity. However, it is not working too well and I would appreciate some help thanks.

Before I forget, there is no limit on the budget of this deck. It is also for casual play against my friends. Please tell me if the information I provided is not sufficient or I have violated the rules in any way. Thank you.Jason Ng (talkcontribs) 12:53, May 31, 2013 (UTC)

Fixed a link, other than that you're set. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:00, May 31, 2013 (UTC)

OK, thanks for the quick response. Jason Ng (talkcontribs) 13:03, May 31, 2013 (UTC)

Here's an idea, Stone Statue of the Aztecs, Canyon, Fairy Box, Ojama Trio, and All-Out Attacks! That's actually a deck that already exists. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:06, May 31, 2013 (UTC)

This is embarrassing but I could not find the deck you mentioned on this site. Can you tell me the name of this deck or play style (I might have missed them just now)? Thank you.Jason Ng (talkcontribs) 13:22, May 31, 2013 (UTC)

I don't think we have an actual page for that, but it's a deck that the character version of Stone Statue of the Aztecs uses in World Championship 2010. But that deck is really outdated, and we can do so much better in 2013, and all for a fairly cheap price! I'll make the deck later today in like 1.5 hours. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:42, May 31, 2013 (UTC)

The basic idea is to use Stone Statue to burn the opponent to death, but if you can't do that, then the Koa'ki Meiru can provide some muscle, and Wall can and should be used to protect your back row from stuff like Heavy Storm. Honestly, it's fairly simple, and Fairy Box is going to be your best friend, it doubles the battle damage from Stone Statue, and makes it possible to inflict 1900 points of damage via your Koa'ki. I suggest testing this deck out on Dueling Network (Google it) and playing with this deck online to test it. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:09, June 1, 2013 (UTC)

This is great but when I played with it, cards like Ally of Justice Catastor, Blackwing Armor Master, Scrap Dragon, Judgment Dragon and Ancient Gear Golem are a pain to fight against if I didn't open with Bottomless. Should I include some Divine Wrath or Effect Veiler in there? Thanks again.Jason Ng (talkcontribs) 01:42, June 1, 2013 (UTC)Jason Ng (talkcontribs) 01:41, June 1, 2013 (UTC)

Maybe, but if you're alright with it, why not try Phoenix Wing Wind Blast? It solves the problem of Synchro monsters, and gets rid of bosses. You can also edit the Koa'ki Meiru Rock lineup to deal with your biggest problem. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:20, June 1, 2013 (UTC)

After playing, I discovered that PWWB did help a lot although I like Grave of the Super Ancient Organism more. Yes, it makes me weaker to Golem, Catastor and Xyz (s) but it stops those Judgment Dragon / Scrap Dragon from coming back. Thanks again, Dark Ace. You can consider this done.Jason Ng (talkcontribs) 03:56, June 1, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Nordics

While I realize it's the worst of the three Nordic God cards, and has the worst sub-archtype, I was wondering if someone could build a good Loki, Lord of the Aesir deck that actually includes Nordic Alfar monsters. UndiscoveredSong (talkcontribs) 22:08, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

I'll make this. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 09:37, May 29, 2013 (UTC)
Sorry that I keep you waiting, but this is much harder than it seems. So, are you okay with a build that focuses on Mara of the Nordic Alfar's effect, or you'd prefer something with the Dverg+Ljosalf+Svartalf combo? Or maybe include both? Nephthy (talkcontribs) 09:56, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
Include both, if at all possible; if not, though, the one that's most consistent. UndiscoveredSong (talkcontribs) 04:20, June 1, 2013 (UTC)
Here it is. I adhered to the theme (included all 4 Nordic Alfars) while trying not to hurt consistency. The most important in this deck is searching for the right cards with Tomato and Gleipnir, this way you can include both ways of synchro summoning Loki (Mara+2 lv4 monsters, or Tomato->Svartalf+Dverg+Ljosalf). I used both ways while testing. If you don't get OTK'd too quickly and you are not very unlucky, you can synchro summon Loki (relatively) quickly. After summoned, Loki can easily be countered by cards that return to hand or banish. To protect it, I have Spellbook of Wisdom and Nordic Relic Gungnir. Try the deck and let me know your thoughts about it. As always, I'm open to any changes.

Nephthy (talkcontribs) 12:26, June 2, 2013 (UTC)

I love it, thanks! But where's the Extra Deck? UndiscoveredSong (talkcontribs) 17:12, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
Sorry, totally forgot that. I added the extra deck to the decklist above. I only used Loki (since its the point of the deck) and Scrap Archfiend (once), so most of the extra deck is really irrelevant. Most level of Synchro monsters is not possible at all. You can make lv7 with Mara+Dverg+lv4 monster and lv6 with Svartalf+Dverg. Also, with the lv4 monsters, you can (theorically) make rank 4 monsters and it's possible to use 2 Lokis to Xyz summon that monster with the long name. I'm glad you like the deck. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 18:22, June 2, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Burn Deck

Well, it's been about 3 years since i used this. I've learned to make my own things, but now I have a great idea for an awesome strategy but i have no clue what cards would i use to do it. So here is my plan, Number 61:Volcasaurus. I'd like to somehow get more than one of him on the field, spam special summon things with high attack to my opponents side then use his effect. On things like lava golem or perhaps i think that archfiend trap that tributes a winged-beast. i honestly have no clue where to begin. I'd love it for you guys to help me out again ^_^, I would love the older deck you guys made for me updated too, but i'll ask later perhaps(http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Decks_for_Free!/Archive4#Nightmare_Burner). I just want the main focus on this deck to be Volcasaurus if you can.(edited) Necrozkai (talkcontribs) 01:42, May 29, 2013 (UTC)

Could you please sign in or make an account. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 00:37, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
3 years is actually quite long, and many of the old builders have left the wiki. I'm one of the last ones who joined near the end, when Jon Kavocs was around. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:04, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah alot of the deck-builders have retired since then, in any case i don't mind who builds this deck as I've seen what you guys have been making for the past few archives and every deck I've tested works perfectly. Thus i trust anyone who will make it will be successful. Thanks in advance. No spending limit or anything seeing as i have access to almost anything. Necrozkai (talkcontribs) 01:42, May 29, 2013 (UTC)

In all honesty, the only 2 monsters that can really work is Lava Golem or Grinder Golem. Both aren't really that favorable, but if you can get a Solar Wind Jammer/Cyber Dragon out with a paired Instant Fusion, you'll probably be golden, because you can do 3000 damage with Number 61 and then follow up with Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger for 2700 raw points of pain. That's probably the most linear I can offer, if you want something that has more variety, we can do Gagaga. But be forewarned, the Volcasaurus build will have some consistency issues, while the Gagaga version won't have as much kick. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:44, May 30, 2013 (UTC)
Just note that I would pick Grinder Golem, sure he isn't monster removal, but he works better with Solar Wind Jammer. Summon Jammer, then summon Grinder, then follow-up with Instant Fusion. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:45, May 30, 2013 (UTC)

If it would make your life easier it doesn't have to 100% be about summoning volca, do your best though, as long as it works even 25% of the time i'll be happy. I was thinking of dropping the idea all together with how hard it sounds. Necrozkai (talkcontribs) 01:33, May 31, 2013 (UTC)

The issue with Number 61 is that his effect is really situational, and he isn't meant to be the focus of a deck, just a game ender in the middle to late game. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:49, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
Just an idea, this deck concept screams OTK, maybe using Inferno Reckless Summon and/or Junk Synchron + Synchro Fusionist with Instant Fusion, and maybe even more face-beating with Miracle Synchro Fusion for Supreme Arcanite Magician. OTK by pulling a Rank 5 or 2 and clearing the field, and maybe backed by a Fusion or Chaos boss? Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 02:34, May 31, 2013 (UTC)

If it is 2 much of a hassle, then can you guys just drop the idea, but i'd really like if you' d give my older deck(http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Decks_for_Free!/Archive4#Nightmare_Burner) some love. thanks Necrozkai (talkcontribs) 10:30, May 31, 2013 (UTC)

If you don't mind I'll update the old deck sometime later this week, probably Thursday. I have finals this week, so it's not easy to make time for this. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:02, June 2, 2013 (UTC)

Take you guys time getting good on school finals is very important ^_^ Necrozkai (talkcontribs) 07:55, June 4, 2013 (UTC)

Basically it's the same idea, but I wanted to include ways to make it more consistent at getting to stuff like Needle Worm and Morphing Jar, so in went 3 Deep Diver to replace Nimble Momonga, sure 1000 LP is kinda nice, but an increased level of consistency is better. If you wanted to include 1 Swords of Revealing Light, you can drop 1 Deep Diver. Finally, I slightly expanded on the Gravekeeper engine that was in the deck before, now that we have Rank 4 Xyz Monsters, we can hopefully resolve 2 Spy to make 2 separate Rank 4 summons. I also added in Frozen Fitzgerald, it's been reprinted in the 2011 tins, so it's like 19 cents. Other than that, I liked the original structure that Blue had, so I decided to keep it. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:21, June 8, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Tidal Nimbles

I'm having a really hard time building this deck, so I'd like some help. I'd like a deck based around Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls and the Nimble series of cards. I've been building this deck for quite a while, but I can never find a build I like. AnnoyingMacroPrick (talkcontribs) 02:04, May 30, 2013 (UTC)

I'll take a crack at this. I've been wanting to try Nimbles. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 02:32, May 30, 2013 (UTC)
Yay, thank you!. I've been playing the deck with varying degrees of success, I'm pretty much netdecking whatever I see since every time I build a deck by myself, it ends in disaster! AnnoyingMacroPrick (talkcontribs) 02:53, May 30, 2013 (UTC)
Oh, as for budget, I have most of the main cards for the deck, I think. The Extra Deck might be a problem since the good stuff is usually the most expensive. I have a Number 11: Big Eye though, so that's a start. I don't want to try to spend TOO much with this deck. I've spent enough cash to get the stuff I already own. AnnoyingMacroPrick (talkcontribs) 09:29, May 30, 2013 (UTC)
Alright, the main deck shouldn't really be too much since most of the cards seem fairly cheap. And I'll make the extra deck with that in mind. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 15:41, May 30, 2013 (UTC)

I tried to keep the Extra Deck monsters fairly cheap, keeping them somewhere around a max amount of $5 for a single copy.

The Nimble set and the Frogs work really well together. And adding Tidal helps a bit more with the lack of attack power the Level 2 monsters have on their own. Between Sunfish, Swap Frog, and Tidal its really easy to send Angler to the grave setting up a field of atleast 2 monsters, and in some cases getting 5 monsters out to unleash the Rank 7 Xyz monsters. I didn't include Dark Hole because a lot of times you'll have a full field set up and destroying your own monsters wouldn't really help you win anything. I also thought about Moray of Greed but found that with the amount of cards you can use for discard fodder with Swap Frog, Tidal, and Stream it really wouldn't help. The trap line up helps combat Dragossacks and Big Eye to an extent, and Return from the Different Dimension helps recover cards for Ronintoadin and Tidal plays.

Also the deck can surprisingly hold its own even when you don't have Lemuria out, I was a little surprised by how much a Dark Mist backed by 2 Gachi Gachi put people in a bind.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns tell me and I'll try to fix them and get a deck you like. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 20:59, May 30, 2013 (UTC)

Uh... this is embarrassing, but I don't have any of the traps you put in your deck. AnnoyingMacroPrick (talkcontribs) 22:49, May 30, 2013 (UTC)

They are all really cheap. But if you need replacements, drop Bottomless and Compulsory for stuff that removes monsters like Sakuretsu Armor/Dimensional Prison. Drop the Chain for something that negates effects, Effect Veiler is cool if you have it, but again, it's a common so it should be cheap. Return is really old and should be cheap. Finally, Torrential can be replaced by Mirror Force. That's really the best subs I could think of. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:00, May 30, 2013 (UTC)
Um, alright. Whatever you guys say. AnnoyingMacroPrick (talkcontribs) 23:06, May 30, 2013 (UTC)
But, Hasty might be able to come up with something else, so why not wait a little bit longer? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:07, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
Also, I made a build that used Deep Sea Diva instead of the Frogs, fewer traps, and Gold Sarcophagus. That's also a possible route for this deck. I still have it to share if need be. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 02:18, May 31, 2013 (UTC)
I'll try to work on something else, if I can't get anything to work right then if you wouldn't mind SM10 you can share your deck. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 13:41, May 31, 2013 (UTC)

Is this any better? The Extra Deck is pretty much the same as the above, any Synchro and Xyz monsters you think you would benefit from. Tridon can be switched out with 1 Poseidra for Mermail Abysspike and Mermail Abyssturge if you have them for more search and recycling. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 19:12, June 5, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - ZX Weapon and Utopia

Hey! So recently I've gotten back into Yu-Gi-Oh! and it seems one of the metas is Prophecy decks. I would like one (how it works, I don't really care). For a budget, maybe under $100 if possible. Also, I noticed that often when I make requests, they get deleted, so just in advance I will just wait until it is done, and I will always be active, watching. ~~DG 808 (talkcontribs) 07:34, June 2, 2013 (UTC)

Umm, the card that makes Prophecy really meta is Spellbook of Judgment, but it's price is around $70 for one copy, and because of that High Priestess of Prophecy (The deck's best boss) is around $90 for one copy. Sorry to say this, but you asked for this deck at the wrong time. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:05, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
If you still want a Prophecy deck, I could build an older version of the deck without Judgment and use the other boss Reaper of Prophecy, who is like a $1 for a copy. Three of the spells are kinda expensive though (Topping $16-$25 each, and we need anywhere from 2-3 copies of each), so again, it might end up having a large price tag. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:25, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
Oh never mind then xD. Well could you make a deck that focuses on Number 39 and its upgrades instead? Same budget as before. ~~DG 808 (talkcontribs) 07:14, June 5, 2013 (UTC)
Sadly, it's only real upgrades are Number C39: Utopia Ray and Number C39: Utopia Ray V (Out on June 14). After that you need to use Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force. If you really need a Utopia based deck, see Archive 18 for Nep's build using Zexal Weapons. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 12:33, June 5, 2013 (UTC)
Well, there's also Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory. Could you make a deck focusing on those cards? I know there are only those three but I would like a deck for those cards. And if you could, then the Extra Deck won't count toward the budget (but please don't go all out). ~~DG 808 (talkcontribs) 07:08, June 6, 2013 (UTC)
I didn't know you if you wanted to play TCG or OCG, so I wasn't sure. Since Victory won't be out until like August. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:02, June 6, 2013 (UTC)

"Basically a standard Gadget engine to consistently make Rank 4's, with Jumbo Drill added to make easy Rank 5 plays. Often, you'll find it useful to make a Gear Gigant X or King first to set up better before making Utopia or Leo Arms. Chain Summoning is awesome and can even let you play both Utopia and Leo on the same turn. To use it, you'll usually have a Gadget/Goldfish/Drill as Chain Link 1, a Kagetokage/MST/Dress as Link 2, and then Summoning as 3. Once you're set, spam the Utopias backed by Zexal Weapons for massive damage. You can even recover if your opponent manages a push through, as long as you don't play recklessly and overextend. I made the Traps and techs with Dragon Rulers/Prophecy in mind, because this deck laughs at Ophion." -SM10

Quote and deck posted by Ace. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:30, June 8, 2013 (UTC)

Seems good! Thanks and sorry for the trouble ~~DG 808 (talkcontribs) 01:22, June 10, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Super-Defense Robo Deck

Hey guys, my friends have shown me that a new archetype is coming out in Judgement of the Light and, being a fan of machines, I would like to see if they can be playable. I've been away from the game for a while so I'm having trouble figuring the out. If you guys can, please make me a competitive (if possible) Super-Defense Robo Deck. Thanks. Aporia's Apprentice (talkcontribs) 10:27, June 2, 2013 (UTC)

That was done by Hasty for a Weekly Deck Contest. User:Resk has another build that I thought was a little more consistent, but she hasn't been on wiki for a while, although she sometimes pops up on DN. If you need an explanation, see this. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:09, June 2, 2013 (UTC)

Hasty said the deck was somewhat competitive, but had it's issues when the hand got really clogged. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:26, June 2, 2013 (UTC)

Ok, I'll try out this build. If possible, can you guys try to get Resk's build? That way I can try out both and see which one I like. I would appreciate that. Aporia's Apprentice (talkcontribs) 06:40, June 3, 2013 (UTC)

Hey, can you help me build a Mokey Mokey Deck? I guess a mokey mokey OTK.

I built one a long time ago, but it wasn't that good. But I think I want to play with one again. And this deck shouldn't be that expensive right? I'm pretty sure there are common-prints on the expensive holos nowadays. (not sure, havent played in a few years).

Thanks, --TheThaiger (talkcontribs) 00:21, June 3, 2013 (UTC)TheThaiger

It should be fairly cheap for a Yu-Gi-Oh! deck. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:49, June 3, 2013 (UTC)

I just saw some mokey mokey decks in the archives. But I'm trying to do purely Mokey mokey and fairies. I probably wouldn't want to synchro/xyz summon.

--TheThaiger (talkcontribs) 05:06, June 3, 2013 (UTC)TheThaiger

There should be one like that in the Type Gallery for Fairy. Once you get there, ctrl+F for "The Outcast Angel..." or something like that. If you like, I can do a quick update on that one. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 12:25, June 3, 2013 (UTC)

I see it! Yea. I'll use that as a base and modify it. I want it to be more focused on Mokey Mokey.

Would you also be able to make a Fire King deck? Should I make this request in a thread?

--TheThaiger (talkcontribs) 22:41, June 3, 2013 (UTC)TheThaiger

We should have 1-2 Fire King decks in Archives 16-18. They're really the best the TCG has at the moment, until we get Fire King Avatar Yaksha. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:43, June 4, 2013 (UTC)

I only say one. And I didn't like it that much. Here's the one I came up with though. Please give some suggestions or edits.

So this is what I have come up with. I built this deck 2 days ago and haven't had a chance to test it out. I tried to create as much synergy as possible by making sure each card can search each other, or special summon, or discard.

I was planning to take out "Laval Lancelord" and rebuild once I get these:

Hopefully this deck works the way I want it to. I'll put in the "Flamvell" turners, maybe 1 copy of each. Then 2 copies of the "Hazy Flame Cerbereus." I am thinking that because I can summon so easily because a lot of these monsters have 200 def or less, or are "Fire" types. I feel like a lot of combos can be made and I will have a lot of options.

Thanks --TheThaiger (talkcontribs) 05:19, June 5, 2013 (UTC)TheThaiger

Please ignore the terrible formatting. I tried to use the cool template, but I couldn't get it to work.... and now I am too lazy to change it, after having taken such a long time to type it out.

Thanks --TheThaiger (talkcontribs) 05:20, June 5, 2013 (UTC)TheThaiger

Fixed, but what did you really want from us? It seems like you have an idea of where you want to take your decks. As for the Mokey Mokey deck, SM10 said he might try to find his old build. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 12:27, June 5, 2013 (UTC)

Thank you SM10! Um, well, what do you think? I just want opinions on this my Fire Kings deck I guess. Do you see any problems? Actually, this should I just move to this to another thread? I am probably wasting space and your time. "Decks for free!" is for building completely new decks right?

--TheThaiger (talkcontribs) 15:15, June 5, 2013 (UTC)TheThaiger

Honestly, we can help make new deck ideas come true, but you don't really need any help from us about your Fire King build, it seems good. Maybe a few Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos and a few Burner, Dragon Ruler of Sparks but that's about all. SM10's internet is outish, so I'll copy his deck over from the DN forum messages. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:06, June 6, 2013 (UTC)

Replaced 3 Cardcar D ($35 card) for 3 Upstart Goblin, other than that, it's all SM10's build. If you need something to draw 2 cards, try Reckless Greed. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:12, June 6, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Pure Fairy!

Hi everyone, this is my first post here and I hope It will be fine. I just checked the deck gallery and I found a deck nice to me, named Fairy Cluster which is in Archive 1. I tested it online and made some changes to update it to the current format. It is great but it needs something. This is the decklist:

I don't like Shining Angel too much because the only targets are Marshmallon (That isn't too good with Valhalla), Warrior Lady (ok), Honest and Hecatrice (That are better in hand than on field). Guardian of Order also is a good card but not exceptional in this deck because you can't summon it with Valhalla. There's no budget! Massiccio36 (talkcontribs) 09:22, June 10, 2013 (UTC)

Did you want to use Nova Summoner over Angel? They both do the same thing, but Nova Summoner, like the other Type based summoners, lets you summon a target in defense, and not just ATK mode. If we use Nova, we have immediate use for Marshmallon. If not, I can just do a simple update to a more modern 2013 build. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 12:13, June 10, 2013 (UTC)

Maybe Nova Summoner is better than Shining Angel but I believe that an update would be better than everythingMassiccio36 (talkcontribs) 12:17, June 10, 2013 (UTC)

I'll get started on it. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:25, June 10, 2013 (UTC)
Sorry, but I have one more question. Did you want Valhalla to be the focus of the deck? Since that deck was built, we've gotten The Agent archetype, which is really great with Master Hyperion, so there's really no need for Valhalla as you can search out Hyperion in the right build. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:56, June 10, 2013 (UTC)

No, I don't want Valhalla to be the focus of the deck. I like Agents, what I want is only to keep the fairy theme. Massiccio36 (talkcontribs) 18:38, June 10, 2013 (UTC)

How does that look for you? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:06, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

One word: perfect! Massiccio36 (talkcontribs) 15:27, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Blue-Eyes Dragon Deck

Hey, I'm back again. Would it be possible for one of you to make a deck using the new cards from the Blue-Eyes structure deck and other dragon cards? Kwkws (talkcontribs) 17:27, May 27, 2013 (UTC)

We can build something, but it probably won't be until after Dueling Network gets the new cards onto their database. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:31, May 27, 2013 (UTC)

No problem, I'm fine with that. Kwkws (talkcontribs) 21:25, May 27, 2013 (UTC)

Actually, I've got this. I can build this on YGOPRO and test it. I wasn't satisfied with a previous build I've made, so maybe I'll have better luck this time around. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 00:59, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
One question though: Chaos thingy with Red-Eyes, Rabbit, or a build that REALLY focuses on drawing, dumping, and reviving? I kinda know what I'm doing with the 1st 2 versions, but I can whip up something for the 3rd one too if you want. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 01:19, June 2, 2013 (UTC)
Chaos with Red-Eyes would be fine, whatever you are the best at making or think is the best is good for me. Kwkws (talkcontribs) 01:38, June 2, 2013 (UTC)

This is what I made. Not sure when SM10 will reply, so I made it anyway. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:35, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

The deck works pretty well, thank you, but are supposed to be 13 cards in the extra deck? Kwkws (talkcontribs) 16:16, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

Whoops. Well, there isn't too much I'd add, maybe a Lavalval Chain/Gagaga Cowboy and a Level 7 Synchro for more flexibility. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:19, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

Ok, thanks. Kwkws (talkcontribs) 16:30, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Synchro Mill

Hi. For a long time, I've been trying, with little success, to make a good mill deck. I tried Worm Mill and it wasn't good. I tried Empty Jar and it wasn't fun. So I decided the type of deck I want is a Synchro Mill one. I have already tried many Synchro Mill decks but it is still not working, so I decided to take suggestions here. Here's how the deck is so far:

Synchro Mill

Monster Cards

Effect Monsters

Spell Cards

So , how can you guys make it good? Coutinho305 (talkcontribs) 04:55, June 1, 2013 (UTC)

Could you please use a Template:Decklist? Also, you don't need to have all the extra text telling us what the card is for. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:32, June 1, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I didn't use the template because I was not sure wether or not I could put the comments in it, but seems like there is no problem with it. Sorry if the comments bother you, but it makes it easier if you just want to make a few changes on what I did. But, if you want to make the deck from scratch, feel free to erase the comments on the decklist. Coutinho305 (talkcontribs) 03:38, June 2, 2013 (UTC)

Going to work on this during the weekend. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:24, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

So this is what I've come up with. I shifted the focus away from Iron Chain, and more into Dark Diviner. The reasoning is simple, Dark Diviner only needs to kill things in battle, and doesn't need to inflict battle damage. Plus, Diviner can't be destroyed by battle. Anyway, the rest of the deck is fairly simple, and the deck performed the way I wanted it to, smooth and simple. If it means anything, I managed to get an E-Drag deck to 9 cards in the main. Sadly, Blaster, Dragoosack, and Big Eye are too much for a deck like this to handle. Due note that I only played a few games with this, and I won about half of them, so I suggest testing this a little bit more. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:10, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Gradius Force

heya i was wondring if you do a gradius based deck. there are no limits use what you feel is neccesary. X-rain (talkcontribs) 16:29, June 10, 2013 (UTC)

Did you need to have Gradius (The normal monster) in the deck, or just the other effect spaceships, like Falchionβ and Lord British Space Fighter? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:24, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

actually i was hoping for all the monster themed jets gradius included X-rain (talkcontribs) 05:55, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

How does this look for ya? If you don't like it, tell me what's bothering you, and if you do test it, and don't like it, then tell me what gave you issues in the duels. As a general tip, test 10-15 games. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:37, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

If you want Tour Guide over Black Salvo, that's also acceptable. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:39, June 11, 2013 (UTC)

ok ill give it a run, but one question y only one pot of duality?X-rain (talkcontribs) 02:25, June 12, 2013 (UTC)

Space issue for me, but if you want to run 2 you can just add in the extra PoD. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:19, June 12, 2013 (UTC)

well i tested out it was 10 wins to 5 loss' if i don start out with rabbit or shining angel im usually in a pinch any way to fix it? and black salvo is good he combos well after a first turn gigant.X-rain (talkcontribs) 02:25, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

The traps aren't really going to do much, so maybe drop them both for 1 more PoD and another Shining Angel? Or if you need more machines, there's always Dekoichi the Battlechanted Locomotive... --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:07, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Cannon Soldier MK2 deck

Could you make a deck based on getting Cannon Soldier and/or Cannon Soldier MK-2 out and tributing tokens for their damage effect, while protecting said "Cannoneers" with cards like Safe Zone? It has to be fast as possible, and there is no monetary limit. Miraibuu (talkcontribs) 21:12, June 12, 2013 (UTC)

Moved it to the bottom to maintain organization. Please don't move it back up, it has no effect on how quickly we take your request. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:39, June 12, 2013 (UTC)
Would you be alright with something like Frogs? There's sadly no real way to search for MK-2 at this point in time, there will be after we get Transtarn, but we don't have it right now. The other option is just to mass produce a bunch of tokens. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:45, June 12, 2013 (UTC)

We could then make it an effect damage deck, with the emphasis more on other effect damage tributers as well as Cannon Soldier, as well as mass producing Tokens. Miraibuu (talkcontribs) 23:41, June 12, 2013 (UTC)

I'll take this, I have an idea that could work. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 11:59, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

I couldn't get a deck that could get a lot of tokens onto the field at once to work, so I went with the Nimble monsters. Pitch Angler from your hand or deck with Foolish Burial or Swap Frog to get 2 Nimble monsters onto the field, and if you're able to special summon Swap Frog you can put at least 2500 damage on the field with Cannon Soldier, not including Ronintoadin who can put even more damage on the field. If you have any questions I'll be glad to answer them. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 19:04, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Relinquished Deck

I'm looking to create a budget Stall deck that is still relevant for present day duels. Would love to have cards like Relinquished and Lava Golem be involved. Don't want to use Exodia as I don't have all the pieces. Would like to keep the budget under $100 if possible.Dingo ninjetti (talkcontribs) 08:04, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

There isn't really any kind of stall that's truly relevant in today's game, but we can do Final Countdown if that's what you want for stall. However, a Relinquished deck isn't classified as stall in most cases, so your request is a little confusing, would you mind clarifying that? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 12:53, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

Since Stall is not really effective anymore, can we just build a deck using Lava Golem and Relinquish. I'm good at stalls, but I also love to hit hard and fast, sometimes burn. The thing about my old stall deck is I used to use all lower level cards and the others would laugh until their higher level cards were useless. This is who I am as a duelist, I try to use things no one sees coming...does this clarify better?96.28.213.216 (talk) 09:49, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

Clarifies perfectly. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:14, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

How does this look? I'll be upfront, both Effect Veiler and Mystic Piper will take away about $40 of your $100 budget. If that bothers you, then drop 2 Effect Veiler for Memory Loss, and while Fiendish Chain might usually be better, I want to avoid having a dead Gorz the Emissary of Darkness in your hand. If you can keep the Effect Veiler, then please do so, it helps increase the odds of getting a hit with Piper's effect. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:43, June 15, 2013 (UTC)

Looks good to me...I'll give it a go. Thanks for your help.Dingo ninjetti (talkcontribs) 08:03, June 16, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Doomkaiser/Assault Mode

Hi. I'm having huge frustration with building decks and all I can think of is requesting one. I just need a deck focuses around Doomkasier dragon/Assault mode. Budget isn't a concern. I just want the deck to be as good as possible without getting to far away from the idea. (Idea is to get doomkaiser assault on the field and go from there) If you can help me I will really appreciate it..Mrfluffy2 (talkcontribs) 03:56, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

We can try to help. Sadly, it's just me and SM10 at the moment, and SM10's internet is acting up, so requests are taking more time than usually. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:21, June 14, 2013 (UTC)
I know I said I have trouble making decks, but I want to get better too. If you are willing to train me (if its possible) I can help. I really actually like building decks. Just sometimes I can't get it right.Mrfluffy2 (talkcontribs) 04:26, June 14, 2013 (UTC)
Hey, I'll make the deck. About "training", I think all I can do is giving an explanation on the deck, why chose those cards over others. Hopefully, that helps you a bit, but the biggest help you can get is from yourself: just try lots of different decks. Practicing really helps a lot. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 10:45, June 14, 2013 (UTC)
I used to "train" people when Decks for Free! was going through a dry spell, talk to me on my talk page if you want more help, but what Nep is also spot-on. See User:Dark Ace SP/Deck Building Lesson 101, it might help. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:17, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

Hey, this is the decklist, and a long-long-long explanation.

Now, I'm trying to explain the main concepts of me building decks through this one (If you are sleepy or in hurry, just skip to 6):

1) So, first when I start building a deck, I ask myself if I want to use many (8+) traps, or just a few (3-). The 4-7 trap setup is bad in my opinion, since its just enough to be target of the opponent's S/T removal. It's important to answer this question before picking the monsters you want. (Of course there are exceptions) So in this case, I ran with the few traps version, as you can see, because I think it fits better to a zombie-swarm kind of thing, and because I just find it more exciting. If you do this, you always use many hand-traps, thus 3 Maxx "C" and 2 Tragoedias. I don't run Gorz, because it can be dead when Zombie World is on the field.

2) Next question is, how do you keep up the pace with metagame? In this case, if you add some kind of draw engine, you'll more likely end up with 2 DKD/Assaults in the hand. That's why it's more focused on searching instead of drawing. Of course if you can, then use both a draw and the search engine, but many times you just need to pick one. So this is the reason, why I have Pyramid turtle and Goblin Zombie on 3, and no cards like Allure of Darkness. (Maxx C on 3 is just to slow down the opponent, not really a draw engine).

3) Obviously, it's a zombie deck, so you have Zombie Master on 3, Zombie World, Book of Life, the staples etc. Whatever deck you are making, you always need many basic cards, that make it consistent. I've made the mistake of being too focused on the main combo too many times, try to avoid that. In this case, I run cards that can easily make rank 4 xyz plays if necessary. With the right side deck, you can even change the basic strategy of the deck!

4) Now that you've built the basis of the deck, you can start thinking on the specialities. So, the strength is obviously swarming, so I run MST on 3, Heavy Storm, to kill the opponent's traps. I usually run Forbidden Lance over MST, as it's not a dead draw agains decks with few traps (Dragon rulers, Lightsworn variants). I run with the 2MST+2Lance or 1MST+3 lances setup many times, but not now (okay, this is not a really significant point...).

5) Other thing is the weakness of the deck. What's the weakness? You will most likely summon DKD easily and if got the right cards, the Assault Mode monster is also not a hard thing. I think, one of the major weaknesses of this deck is drawing into DKD/AM. Of course there are others, but this is getting too long, so I won't touch on everything. You must have a way to cope with this, and in this deck, you do. Discard DKD/AM for Zombie Master's effect, and then you can recover with Shutendoji (this actally works well), or with Pot of Avarice, and still be able to summon it. The other way is with Plaguespreader Zombie. Now the last few questions: How do you get Assault Mode Activate? I run 2 of it, so I have the possibility to summon 2 in the same duel. You will most definitely not summon more than 2. I run 2 Assault Beasts. The rate is 2-2 for a reason. With only 1 Beast and 3 AMAs, you can have a really dead hand, with 3-1, you can't use more than 1 AMA/duel (especially bad when it gets MST'd the turn it's set. And since I run only 2 traps, this is not very unlikely). You can always run with a 3-2 rate, but I think this is just enough. These last points may seem a bit too technical, but the little things are really important.

6) So, this novel's points in summary: Before you start building, you answer the Many traps vs. many monsters and the draw engine vs. search engine questions (of course this is irrelevant for an archetype deck, that has it's own search/draw engine). I think it's helpful. You always run cards that are good on their own, just in case the main combo doesn't work out. Always ask yourself what the strengths and weakness are. Hope I you find this useful. Also hope you like the deck, but if you don't then you can always ask for any changes you'd like to see. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 21:11, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

Thank you so much. For the explanation and the deck. I hope I can get good enough so I can join you guys soon. :D Mrfluffy2 (talkcontribs) 21:47, June 14, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Thunder and Light

I made this deck by simply looking through cards of the same type of light and thunder, and it actually works out pretty damn great. It does have some inconsistency issues rarely, and sometimes you can pull terrible hands, but it honestly does its job of xyz summoning pretty fast, the problem i have it i think it could be better but i don't know what i'm missing. I love the duo of Mahunder and Pahunder, along with Batteryman AAA. What I want to know is an expert builders opinions on the deck, and if you would revise it what would you add and take away? anyways here is the deck, i hope you can understand the objective, or help me to modify the objective or increase its potential, I'm pretty sure this would be classified as a beatdown or swarming type deck so here ya go! Thanks ahead of time

You guys can do whatever you want with it, but thanks for taking a look and giving your opinions! Necrozkai (talkcontribs) 01:32, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

I'll take a look at this tomorrow. I already know what I'm going to do to it, so it's not an issue. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:58, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

Basically it's your deck, but I added another Sishunder and another Sea Horse to add more consistency. I replaced Zaborg, The Calibrator, and The Creator with more easily summoned monsters. By adding in a Vylon Prism, it allowed me to open up the extra deck a little more, and include the monster that is Vylon Epsilon. The rest of the deck is kinda staples, but I included 1 Photon Lead and 2 Judgment of Thunder, mostly because I liked how they allowed a little bit more wiggle room. I added 2 Xyz Reborn to help make it easy to have a viable card in the mid-to-late game, mostly because you will have probably gone through a few good Rank 4 Xyz monsters. That's basically it, so thoughts? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:19, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

wow thanks that was pretty fast of you! I'll get to enjoying this now ^_^ Necrozkai (talkcontribs) 04:57, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

Saw it at 11:15 PM and thought I could make the changes in 15 minutes, so I did. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:47, June 18, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Rank 8 Dragon deck

Sup, I'd like to request a Rank 8 deck revolving around http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Number_46:_Ethereal_Dragon_-_Draggluong and including at least one Soul-Eating Divine Dragon - Drain Dragon. The deck simply has to include those cards, it can be anything - Hieratic or using Parsec, the Interstellar Dragon, Radius, the Half-Moon Dragon and Schwarzschild, the Limit Dragon. Do whatever works best, thanks in advance.--SLAY THE GODS! 11:20, June 19, 2013 (UTC)

Is Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms fine? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 12:56, June 20, 2013 (UTC)
Sure but he's level 7, but if you're referring to his searching, he's fine.--SLAY THE GODS! 08:36, June 21, 2013 (UTC)
I'll make this a collaboration project. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:00, June 21, 2013 (UTC)

Basically use Boneyard to mill off Darkstorm and Soul-Eating, then use Queen Dragon Djinn to revive Soul and use Roar of the Silver Dragon to revive Darkstorm. Remember to test this, as I haven't done so myself. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:32, June 21, 2013 (UTC)

SM10 has another 1-2 builds he'll give me. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:22, June 22, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Exodd, Master of the Guard Deck

Hello, I was looking through my old cards and saw some earth-flipping cards, along with the Structure Deck for Exodd, Master of the Guard. All I want is a decent deck based around him, and there's no budget. Thanks, Kamikazefoob (talkcontribs) 15:52, June 20, 2013 (UTC)

Hi, I'll make this one. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 17:17, June 20, 2013 (UTC)

Here is the deck, hope you like it. More or less standard stall/control with the flipping effects. I only use 3 Sphinx, but it's usually enough. If you are not satisfied with the result, I'm open to any changes in the deck. Also if you need some explanation, I can write some longer stuff about how the deck works. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 21:17, June 21, 2013 (UTC)

Looks great! Thanks for the hard work :D Kamikazefoob (talkcontribs) 23:30, June 22, 2013 (UTC)

Thank you, I'm glad you like it:) Nephthy (talkcontribs) 15:46, June 23, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Number 9: Dyson Sphere deck

Hello deck builders, I have been captivated by the appeal that Dyson Sphere has shown in the anime and I was hoping I could get some help/decklists to build a deck around this giant space colony. I was hoping to keep the deck theme a tad bit anime centric with minor burn cards and traps/spells that specifically target 2000+ atk power monsters like void trap hole. Since this is mainly just theorycrafting request, please don't take any budgeting into account. Thank you in advance if this request were to be accepted. Bugzdood (talkcontribs) 19:51, June 21, 2013 (UTC)

I got this one. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:20, June 21, 2013 (UTC)

Basically summon Magician, make him Level 8, and use Star Changer to make him Level 9. Then, summon either Girl or Child, copy Magician's level of 9, and summon Number 9. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:35, June 21, 2013 (UTC)

I slightly modified the deck, I dropped one Girl for another Child. Shouldn't make too much of a difference though. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:56, June 27, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Its Magical

Hello there deck builders. i have a challenge for you. can you build a spellbook deck that spams rank 6 monsters and can chaos xyz summon. --Logan Miller (talkcontribs) 05:20, June 22, 2013 (UTC)

Prophecy deck that spams rank 6 sorry Logan Miller (talkcontribs) 05:59, June 22, 2013 (UTC)

Just so you know, Prophecy are like a $200+ deck right now. A single copy of Spellbook of Judgment costs over $50, however, if your alright with skipping out on Judgment, I can make an older pre-Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy, Prophecy Reaper build. Still kinda costly as other Spellbooks have gone up in price. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:25, June 22, 2013 (UTC)

that is fine as i am not running rank 7s except the chaos xyzs that are run. also i leave it in your capable hands as to what would be the best approach to this. also this deck will only be ran online so price should mean nothing to me anyway. woot go duelingnetwork for the win. Logan Miller (talkcontribs) 20:32, June 23, 2013 (UTC)

Use Fool to mill off if you need to, but a solid hand will probably end up with you having a Reaper and a Destroyer by the end of your second turn. I didn't include an extra deck as it should have the generic level 5 and 7 synchros as well as generic Xyz monsters. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:36, June 24, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - CyberDark revival

No Budget, a Cyber Dark revival deck that fits with the banlist and can counter the current Meta. Miraibuu (talkcontribs) 04:29, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

I got this. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:17, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

How does that look? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:42, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

Why Karakuri Shogun? Miraibuu (talkcontribs) 18:26, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

He makes it easy to kill things in def. and we have Black Salvo to be the tuner. He's also for a Dragon Ruler mirror match as he can turn an opposing Phantom Beast token to ATK mode and punch through for surprise damage. He's not that great and can be dropped to include another Level 7 synchro. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 18:35, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

And can't you use Dragon Ravine? it would work well IMO. Miraibuu (talkcontribs) 18:45, June 25, 2013 (UTC)

I know Ravine can work well, but here we have the other Dragon Rulers to help with discarding extra dragons off. Also, we have tempest to do specific searches for what we need, and the Gold Sarcophagus can used to search almost any dragon we need immediately. I just feel like it's a little redundant here. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:50, June 25, 2013 (UTC)
Will keep this for one more day before moving to archives, unless you don't like the deck. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:58, June 27, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Ancient Gear Deck

could you help me construct an ancient gear deck, no budget and could it be a pure ancient gear deck or if not maybe include gadgets. Tonberryking (talkcontribs) 13:26, June 27, 2013 (UTC)

I'll be glad to do this. Just one question, would it be alright to use Reactan, Dragon Ruler of Pebbles and Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders? Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 14:17, June 27, 2013 (UTC)

i don't mind the use of elemental dragons if you want to use them in the deck.Tonberryking (talkcontribs) 11:25, June 28, 2013 (UTC)

I tried to keep it as pure as I could with the Gadgets. The Gadgets are fairly obvious with what they do, just keep a stream of monsters coming while thinning the deck. Ancient Gear Knight offers better offense than Soldier, but is still lacking with the way the format is right now. Through testing Golem actually proved to be a good choice, being able to sneak in damage with monsters in defense mode and be unaffected by spells/traps while attacking is pretty good, and only be 1 tribute with Geartown up. Gadjiltron Dragon is the go to monster with Geartown, and usually with Redox's revival effect, since Golem can't be special summoned. The traps help with monster removal, and Call of the Haunted gets you another search from you Gadgets, or more damage with Gadjiltron. If you have any other questions, comments, or concerns I'll address them the best I can. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 23:40, June 28, 2013 (UTC)

thanks for the deck it looks good! Tonberryking (talkcontribs) 13:58, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

but why is there dire wolf in the extra? Tonberryking (talkcontribs) 14:28, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

Dire Wolf is there for problematic situations. Like if you're up against a Dracossack with 2 tokens, you can easily get 2 Level 4's onto the field, destroy both tokens, then overlay into Dire Wolf and destroy Dracossack. And it helps get over Ophion since Pandemic only protects it from spells and traps. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 15:13, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Grandsoil Psychics

Psychics were always a deck I wanted to try, but I really don't know how to play them. That's why I want to request a Grandsoil Psychic deck. No budget; I probably have most of the cards anyway. Thanks in advance! SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 00:09, June 28, 2013 (UTC)

The most important card in this entire deck is Serene Psychic Witch, no discussion. She gets you a future summon, which will usually be Esper Girl, but Psychic Jumper is cool if you have or can put another Psychic-type on the board. Hey, 1000 LP for a free monster is cool. You get to chose the monster you get with Jumper, so it's basically an unfair Creature Swap. Usually, you'll want to swap a Witch, as you'll get her effect if you kill her with a stolen monster. After you've yarded enough EARTH monsters, feel free to drop a few Grandsoil (Overlay multiple Grandsoils to make Number 107, and avoid risking Grandsoil's negative effects). Remember to control your graveyard with Pot of Avarice, Psychic Overload, Wizard, and Redox. The basic game plan is abuse Witch, make big Synchro Summons, and then finish off with Grandsoil for more damage. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:19, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

Looks good! I'll' try it later today when I get back home. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 15:40, June 29, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Gagaga

Hey could you make me a competitive Gagaga deck please? Guardmaster (talkcontribs) 19:13, July 1, 2013 (UTC)

The extra deck was obviously the hardest part. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:30, July 1, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Vampire Deck

Hey guys I'm back again. This time, would it be possible for you guys to make a Vampire deck which includes the cards from Shadow Specters? Thank you very much again. Kwkws (talkcontribs) 02:45, June 22, 2013 (UTC)

Adding links. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:07, June 22, 2013 (UTC)
No one take this, SM10 might do it, so let's leave it open until he tells me otherwise. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:16, June 22, 2013 (UTC)
SM10 will do it. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:26, June 22, 2013 (UTC)
Thanks, and I don't care if it includes other zombie cards.Kwkws (talkcontribs) 15:40, June 22, 2013 (UTC)
If SM10 doesn't reply by the end of next week. I'll try to finish this one. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:21, July 6, 2013 (UTC)

"It's fairly self-explanatory. There's the usual tricks like the Card Trooper engine, alongside Goblin Zombie and CotH. Recurring gets back the 2 of the 3 key playmakers, Shadow Vampire and Zombie Master. Book of Life on Reaper is cool. Avarice and Duplicity recycle. Lady and Goblin trigger Empire. Edelritter can be overlayed for Charger, or used as EEV fodder when he revives himself." -SM10

--Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:47, July 8, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for making the deck, it looks good. I hope it wasn't a problem for you. Kwkws (talkcontribs) 17:04, July 8, 2013 (UTC)

I'll relay your thanks to SM10, as he made the deck, but is unable to edit on the wiki for various reasons. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:06, July 8, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Skill Drain & Imperial Iron Wall

I am needing some help with an idea for a deck but don't really know where to take it. I want to use both Skill Drain and Imperial Iron Wall at the same time. I can't use Malefic's, Gold Sarcophagus, Bottomless Trap Hole or anything that removes cards from play. Besides the standard Skill Drain deck standards (Barbaros and Fusiler) what could I go with?

Thanks Rch2trex (talkcontribs) 05:13, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

Budget is not the big concern but what works best. Rch2trex (talkcontribs) 05:19, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

I can make some changes to my Fire King Drain deck to have Imperial Iron Wall in it. Really I just need to replace Yaksha to make it TCG legal, so Barbaros or Fusiler could be added in his place. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 06:51, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

I'm excited to see it. Rch2trex (talkcontribs) 08:24, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

I wasn't able to test it too much, for some reason my computer has been acting up lately. So if you have any problems with it, please tell me so I can change it to something that will work.

Basically since both Barong and Garunix have effects that activate in the grave, Skill Drain won't touch them. So you have a 2700 Atk recurring beatstick that will take a little effort to get over without effects. Blaster usually just blows stuff up for you when you have a Garunix or Barong in hand. If you have any other questions I will answer them the best I can. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 20:02, July 3, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Hopeless Dragon Refurbishing

Hey there, I've been away from YuGiOh for over a year now and was trying to improve my old deck before giving it to my younger brother. Turns out that I have no idea what great new cards have been introduced to the game. I was hoping that you could improve the deck below for me. I don't have a budget other than $20 max for a single card. Also, I'd like to keep the deck dragon based.

As far as I remember this deck worked pretty well some time ago. Thanks in advance. Muhammad1290 (talkcontribs) 03:23, July 3, 2013 (UTC)

I might take this. Anyway, the main thing on budget is that no single card can be over $20, right? Not necessarily that the budget for the entire deck is $20, right? Anyway, most recently, Dragon Rulers have come out in Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy booster packs, and Konami was nice and made them all rares. So a single copy of any one of the Dragon Rulers is anywhere from $9 to $5, but usually TCGPlayer.com has them at lower prices than that, just kinda depends. Anyway, where I'm going with this is pretty obvious, but the original creator of the Disaster Dragon variant actually updated the deck concept with by using Dragon Rulers. Also, if the deck doesn't have to go to your brother right away, all the Dragon Rulers are being reprinted in tins, but they aren't expensive at their Rare status either. I'll probably use about 6 Dragon Rulers total to update the deck a bit. So expect around $30-$60 for the 6 Rulers, and the rest of the deck you kinda have, or if you don't have it's going to be commons in the form of Exploder Dragon, 1 more Koa'ki Meiru Drago, and some Masked Dragon. I'm going to assure you that the deck will be affordable.
I know that's a lot to process, so I'll give you some time. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:53, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
Dang it...your original was Hopeless Dragon not Disaster Dragon...feel like trying Disaster for a change? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:56, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
Hahaha I just love how this deck works so if possible I'd like to stick to the Hopeless. And yeah, I just don't think it's worthwhile to spend more than $20 on a single card. I was looking to use the deck I already have just so I wouldn't have to buy as many new cards. What you've suggested seems to be relatively small changes so I'm fine with that. Muhammad1290 (talkcontribs) 04:31, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
Also what are your thoughts on the virus cards? I'm not sure if I should replace them. Any alternatives that would improve the flow of the deck? Muhammad1290 (talkcontribs) 04:41, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
The Viruses can be fine tech cards. However, my main issue is with the deck itself, the best mill was Future Fusion, but with Future now being banned due to Chaos Dragon abuse, Dragons have lost the best mill card they ever had. Not to mention that Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is limited, so it's even harder to make something around Hopeless, as the original point of Hopeless was to abuse REDMD. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:09, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
Well shit, didn't know about either of those changes. Hmm, my brother just plays against me and his friends, none of which care about the official rules, so I'd say ignore those changes. And I might be asking a bit much here so feel free to decline, but if possible could you make a second deck that does follow the official rules? Muhammad1290 (talkcontribs) 22:30, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
I don't mind making a 2nd deck that's legal, but it will most likely be the Dragon Ruler variant of Disaster Dragon. If you want a legal version of Hopeless, then ask for that instead, but it's not going to be as consistent as your previous version.
As for the first deck, you want me to ignore the F&L list to the last point the deck was playable, right? You don't want me to go crazy and include 3 Pot of Greed, right? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:31, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
Dragon ruler disaster variant is perfect and yes, the last time the current build was playable. Thanks man! Muhammad1290 (talkcontribs) 02:06, July 6, 2013 (UTC)
I'll get started tomorrow then. Note to self: Last list Hopeless was playable was the March 2012 Lists. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:06, July 6, 2013 (UTC)

There's the older, March 2012 Hopeless Dragon build. Basically use Monk to spam out Knights, then overlay for Queen Dragun Djinn to revive a Dragon in the grave. Thoughts? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:00, July 6, 2013 (UTC)

And here's the legal Disaster version.

Here's the basic rundown. All the Dragon Rulers have four distinct effects, and you can only use an effect of a Dragon Ruler once per turn, so you can't use Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders twice, even if it's a different card effect. That goes for Tempest and Blaster too. Anyway, the big thing is that whenever a Ruler is banished, you can add a Dragon of the same attribute from your deck to your hand, so Gold Sarcophagus becomes an instant search card for almost any Dragon. Tempest is special because you can discard it and another Wind monster to search for any dragon, so REDMD and Yamata become easy to search out. Later in the duel, as early as turn 2, you can start banishing Dragons from the grave to summon back the Rulers and make either Thunder Charger or Tribute off the Rulers for Yamata or REDMD. Anyway, the bottom line is this, in the past, Dragons never really had a search card beside Eclipse Wyvern, but now we have a very large amount of searches. If an opponent's monster is keeping you down, then banishing a Redox with Gold Sarc helps to get Exploder Dragon to kill things. And by now I hope you get how this deck works. Anyway, use Vanity's Emptiness after you've established a good field, it helps stem off comebacks from your opponent, and you can turn it off by activating a Spell card and letting it go to the graveyard after it's resolved. It's going to take time to get used to the deck, but understanding Redox, Blaster, and Tempest will go a long way. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:41, July 6, 2013 (UTC)

I can see why the rule changes were made haha. The Hopeless deck looks crazy. I'm going to play around with the supplementary spells and traps a bit to figure out what I like best. Is the reason you used Upstart Goblin instead of Card Destruction because the latter provides more targets for graveyard exploitation for the opponent and as opposed to just giving them a little bit more time? And I'll test out the other deck to learn it before making a call but it look's good. Thanks man! Muhammad1290 (talkcontribs) 14:00, July 7, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah. Card Destruction is double-edged, just like Morphing Jar, but with Jar you get a fresh 5-card hand, so it's a risk worth taking, especially later in the game. As for Card Destruction, it's too limited in scope and horrible later in the game when hand sizes start to drop. Plus, Life Points don't matter in the long run, especially when this deck makes tons of bosses appear out of nowhere. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:05, July 7, 2013 (UTC)
Do note that Queen Djinn will negate the effects of the Dragon it revives, but that's usually a mute point, as you should revive Horus from the grave, then summon REDMD by banishing Djinn. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:25, July 7, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah makes sense. How exactly does Divine Dragon Apocralyph work within the deck? I don't see what difference including him has. Muhammad1290 (talkcontribs) 14:33, July 7, 2013 (UTC)
I added him to try and avoid dead draws. Using him, you get to ditch an in-hand Horus and get back a REDMD, then banish Apoc, and then summon REDMD and the Horus. However, you can drop him for another Dark Grepher if you like. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:41, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Enthusiastic

Hey could I get deck based around the Enthusiastic monsters? Thanks! Guardmaster (talkcontribs) 18:29, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

Did you want Fire Fist monsters as well? There's aren't any other good FIRE Beast-Warriors. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 18:57, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

Fire Fists are fine. They are pretty much the best way to make Enthusiastics work Guardmaster (talkcontribs) 21:51, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

By the way, I'm hoping Haste can take this one. I need time to work on the 2 decks above. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:30, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

I'll get started with a decklist. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 23:59, July 4, 2013 (UTC)

This has been the deck I've been playing with. Leopard is the main Fire Formation searcher, opening with a Tenki or Leopard will give you 2 extra searches effectively thinning the deck down. Bear and Dragon give you more monster removal and Fire Fist revival, which can put Gaintrainer on the field if Bearman is in your hand and with a Tensu on the field. Blaster gives more general card removal, Circle of the Fire Kings gives you monster recursion from the grave and can put more damage on the board, Onslaught generally grabs Bearman but can grab anything in the deck barring Blaster. Tensen gives Dragon a target, and can offer some more attack when you can't get started right away. The Extra Deck is pretty generic, Tachyon Dragon was pretty much filler and be switched for just about anything. Does this work for you? Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 19:16, July 5, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Help a Brother

I would like help with my deck mostly it's consistence i have 3 of every fire fist\formation card except bear, coyote, swallow, dragon, horse, lion and cardinal. all i have is in my deck. i have no price limit. thank for your help.

--Yu-card (talkcontribs) 18:19, July 6, 2013 (UTC)

I think your having issue with consistency because of all the Fire Fists. There are actually 2 ways to build Fire Fist, the Level 3 build, 3-Axis Fire Fist, or the more Level 4 focused build. I don't think they really work well together. However, for 3-Axis to work, we need Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Chicken, which is currently only in the OCG. So, if it's fine with you, I'd like to make a Level 4 focused build. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:10, July 6, 2013 (UTC)

That's fine i mostly do that already, but i find hawk, wolf, and horse useful. Horse because he can git out a hawk in def. ant i think it understandably why hawk and wolf are useful. so show me what u got. thanks --Yu-card (talkcontribs) 14:53, July 8, 2013 (UTC)

"Just my twist on Dragon Turbo, which I consider to easily be the best 4-Axis build, especially in the current metagame." - SM10

--Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:04, July 8, 2013 (UTC)

I will try it out on DN but when i stared look at card to buy my wife put here foot down and told me no i just spent $96 on card so i can't get any more til the fall. i can buy a booster or two when there on sale but no big buys. I have some of the Xyz but not all and i only have 2 bear and dragon. i will get some war packs soon so i hope to get dress and skill. thanks for the help. --Yu-card (talkcontribs) 05:49, July 9, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Elfuria Counter

Hello, could you help me in incorporating Mystic Fairy Elfuria in a counter-fairy deck. I used to run a fairy burn but it may not be of much help(just the staples and stuff) so I am willing to spend around $500. :D

Kamotetop (talkcontribs) 01:17, July 9, 2013 (UTC)

I added the dollar sign, if you're in some other currency, then please do say so. Do you have any restrictions on the level of the WIND monster used to fuel Elfuria? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 01:23, July 9, 2013 (UTC)
I have no restrictions. Variety = Flexibility. Kamotetop (talkcontribs) 01:37, July 9, 2013 (UTC)

Hopefully, Freed can keep your graveyard clear enough to actually summon Eatos, but Elfuria's WIND attribute might not help at some points in the game. The deck above should be a lot less than your $500 budget, but before you buy any cards, test the deck out using Dueling Network.com or something similar. If you want to be able to stop Inherent Special Summons, then Black Horn of Heaven might be better than Drop Off. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:42, July 11, 2013 (UTC)

Also, Prideful Roar is included to protect Artemis, sometimes the life point might be high, so Lumenize might work as well. The only issue with Lumenize is that you have to attack with Artemis on your turn, and you never know what the opponent has face-down. I honestly like Prideful Roar more at the moment, simply because it works in the damage step, and that's a place where very few cards have authority. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:53, July 11, 2013 (UTC)
Forgot to mention, but if consistency becomes and issue, the best thing would probably be to drop the Elfuria and Eatos and include 3 Cardcar D. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:25, July 11, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Cat's Ear Formation

I found a similar deck like this on YouTube, and while the deck list wasn't put up, I found it fascinating, nonetheless. I want to make one, myself, but I'm not sure what to put in it to make it consistent. Any help on this would be appreciated, but please remember that this is pretty budget, so no uber-expensive cards. Thanks. Vorpal Storm Pony (talkcontribs) 02:44, July 10, 2013 (UTC)

How does that look? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:37, July 10, 2013 (UTC)

Prideful Roar doesn't seem very useful in this deck, considering that, unless I'm facing off against a deck that likes to pump up ATK artificially like Fire Fist, the opponent's monsters will be reduced to 200 ATK by the time the damage step happens. I'd probably replace it with a second Tenken and a third Battle Mania, myself. Spirit is interesting, but I'm not too terribly convinced it'll work well here. Maybe with Lion Emperor and Horse Prince (should've kept the latter instead of selling it off), but eh... How well does it run? Vorpal Storm Pony (talkcontribs) 13:47, July 11, 2013 (UTC)
After a few more tests, I edited the deck a bit more. It's not that different, but what are your thoughts? Just so you know, Spirit was a big help, and I didn't always Synchro with him, so you could even drop the Horse Prince, but 1 might be a good idea. My biggest problem was the fact that the S/T zone got really clogged, so you can drop 1 Gorilla for a Snake or Bull if you feel like you need more draw or more field presence. If you don't like it, I can try going back to the drawing board, but I'll need more information on your issues with the deck. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:42, July 11, 2013 (UTC)
Hmm, I'll have to play with a slightly nerfed version of this deck; I've got the two Gorillas, but only two Spirits, for now, and only one Cardcar D (I was thinking of using Vortex Trooper as a possible replacement until I can get the second Cardcar D). I also don't have any Lion Emperors (and I sold off my Horse Prince, as I said), but from what it sounds like, I may or may not need them to make this deck effective. I'll try it and see how well it works for me, and let you know what happens. Vorpal Storm Pony (talkcontribs) 02:36, July 12, 2013 (UTC)
Lion Emperors were nice to reuse Spirit, but any generic Rank 3 is fine as well. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:59, July 12, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Gimmick Puppet

the cards From the NUMB set has just been uploaded onto DN today, so could you build me a Gimmick Puppet deck with some of the new additions from the set? Guardmaster (talkcontribs) 18:49, July 11, 2013 (UTC)

I'm still working on my version, I'll share it when done. Today or tomorrow. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 19:02, July 11, 2013 (UTC)

So this is my Gimmmick Puppet deck. You want to get Necro doll into the grave as quickly as possible, then use it with Magne Doll, Gearspring and Gear Changer to xyz. I think the cards I included don't really need explanation. The cards I didn't include: Nightmare, Gimmick Puppet Ritual, Nightmare Joker: they are all too situational. If you don't pay attention, you can get stuck. I will change a bit on the extra deck, but this is pretty much the consistent machine-built. You can have dead hands sometimes, but most of the time it works well. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 14:34, July 12, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Level 3 Photon

No deck list, this time, just a request for a deck build. I'd like to make a deck based around the three Level 3 Photon monsters (Cerberus, Lizard, and Sabre Tiger), as well as Lightserpent. No real limit on budget or cards, except that the deck MUST have three copies of all the above cards. If anyone wants to tackle this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Vorpal Storm Pony (talkcontribs) 17:26, July 15, 2013 (UTC)

Ace will comment a little later. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:15, July 15, 2013 (UTC)

The extra deck includes what you actually do need. I loved Mechquipped Angineer in this deck, it acted as a quick and effective way to protect myself from bigger monsters on the opponent's turn, and that one-turn usually allowed me to follow-up with Freed the Brave Wanderer or Phoenix Wing Wind Blast. And on that note, Freed and Pirate make it possible and feasible to play a lone Lightray Sorcerer, and I actually did summon it a few times in the duels I played. I'm only running 1 Pirate because we have 3 Lizard that can search it out and 2 Monster Reincarnation to get back a yarded Pirate, the same concept applies to Freed, as we have Reinforcement of the Army. Crane Crane was a cool card in later on in the games, but was really effective when I had used a Photon Lizard on turn one. The traps are all pretty standard, but Wing Blast was great since I got free cards from Tiger and Lightserpent. Also, since Lightserpent will never miss the timing, feel free to abuse it with Monster Reincarnation and Wing Blast, also, I'm using the word "abuse" very lightly here. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:53, July 15, 2013 (UTC)

Eh, it's alright; was looking more for an animal-themed deck, a "Photon Menagerie", if you would, but I can see a definite start with this. Some changes I'm tempted to make:
  • -1 Reinforcement of the Army
  • -2 Freed the Brave Wanderer
  • +1 Monster Reincarnation
  • +2 Hunter of Black Feathers
Other than that, I'm not exactly sure what I'd change, honestly. Vorpal Storm Pony (talkcontribs) 23:26, July 15, 2013 (UTC)
If you're going to drop Freed, drop Lightray Sorcerer too. I don't think it's worth it without Freed. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:25, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
Okay. The reason I'm thinking of dropping Freed for Hunter, is to fit more with the menagerie theme; because its effect is potentially easy to activate when facing off against Dragon Rulers, Prophecy, and Fire Fists; and it's a simple discard instead of a banishing cost, so I can get Lightserpent's effect with it, as well; besides, without a card like Burial from a Different Dimension or Leviair to bring back my banished monsters, it seems like a real waste. I can probably replace the Sorcerer with a third Crane Crane. I'll have to look into more cards, for possible replacements for stuff like Thrasher, Pirate, and Crusher, but I can easily keep those if need be. Finished - Powered Gears

I'd like to request an Ancient Gear deck with Power Tool Dragon (and maybe Vylon Delta) feeding them equip cards to beef them up. No budget, no rush. My only preference besides Ancient Gears and Power Tool, would be Cyber Dragons but they are optional. Ookamikazuchi (talkcontribs) 21:49, July 19, 2013 (UTC)

Hmm, I've been messing around with this, with some moderate success, but I'm not really happy with the build. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:20, July 20, 2013 (UTC)

What seems to be the problem? Ookamikazuchi (talkcontribs) 18:05, July 20, 2013 (UTC)

Well, I've been trying to use a small E-Teleport engine to create the Level 3 tuner for Power Tool, and that engine takes up about 5 cards, and then the Equip spells take up another 5. That's 10 slots I don't have so have to work with, so having defense is slightly difficult. But I'll test a bit more, and see if I can find something. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:18, July 20, 2013 (UTC)

Notice: The below deck is a modified version of Hastydemon's Gear deck in Archive 18!

I think the deck is kinda self-explanatory, but I'll go over the basics. The Gadgets make it easy to thin your deck and have Redox fodder. Geartown makes it easy to summon either Golem or Gadjiltron with 1 tribute, so you can give Gadjiltron one of its 3 bullet effects, I honestly loved Green, but that's me. Double Summon is just cool so we can immediately put the Gadgets to use without waiting a turn, and it's a cool way to summon Ancient Gear Golem on turn one. I included Celestial Dragon only as a way to use an opening hand of 1 Gadget, 1 Double Summon, and 1 Teleport. (You can choose to drop Celestial.) That's really all there is to the deck. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:13, July 20, 2013 (UTC)

alright I'll test it out. Ookamikazuchi (talkcontribs) 22:36, July 20, 2013 (UTC)

After a few games, I like it. I'm losing much more than I win, but it's a fun deck, and when things work they work well. Ookamikazuchi (talkcontribs) 23:42, July 20, 2013 (UTC)

Glad you like it, and I had the same issue. I worked great when it wanted to, and fell flat when it didn't. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:50, July 20, 2013 (UTC)

The First Turn Celestial Dragon is fantastic whenever it happens. Ookamikazuchi (talkcontribs) 00:05, July 21, 2013 (UTC)

It's also possible to make it with Gadjiltron and a Commander, but by that point you might not need to make Celestial. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:17, July 21, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - LSwarms?

What's going on guys? Hope you all are having a good day. Anyway, I would like to request a LSwarm deck (Evilswarm & Steelswarm). This shouldn't break Rule 4 (or least I hope not!) No budget, since I have most of the cards already. Thanks a lot. Jones623 (talkcontribs) 17:07, July 20, 2013 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure it doesnt since Evilswarm mixed with Steelswarm is still pretty unique. You can check here http://yugioh.tcgplayer.com/db/article.asp?ID=3232 for a decklist, or did you have something else on your mind for a build? Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 17:27, July 20, 2013 (UTC)
I think I want to try a different approach. Jones623 (talkcontribs) 19:07, July 20, 2013 (UTC)
Did you have an idea of where else you wanted to take the deck? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:13, July 20, 2013 (UTC)
Honestly, not really, but I did try that deck on tcgplayer Hasty was talking about and it's good but it seems to have lots of dead cards. I guess all I can say is that I want a version of that deck that doesn't have as many dead cards, if possible. Jones623 (talkcontribs) 20:48, July 20, 2013 (UTC)
What were your biggest "dead" cards? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:58, July 20, 2013 (UTC)
Mostly Girastag and Moth with nothing to tribute. They're really great when I had something to tribute for them, but I couldn't do anything if I didn't. Jones623 (talkcontribs) 22:55, July 20, 2013 (UTC)
I might have a way to boost the consistency of the deck, but it won't be perfect, as I wanted to include one Steelswarm Scout. Anyway, I'll let Haste post if he wants this or not before doing anything. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:30, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
If you already have an idea on where you want to take the deck Ace feel free to take it. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 16:12, July 21, 2013 (UTC)

I wanted to take Jason's build and include the more normal Steelswarm support cards, namely Scout. He isn't that great in your hand, but I'll trade my special summons for a turn if that means I can play Girastag more often. The nice thing with Scout is that we either summon him with One for One, which actually fills up the grave for Kerykeion later, or dump him to the grave with Foolish, again either getting him for a tribute or fueling Kerykeion, it's not a loss. But if we happen to draw Scout, we just trade him in with Infestation Infection to get something we can use, like a Cell. Also, I'm not that worried about Scout being a "dead" card in the grave, your opponent will either eventually kill Infection because they realize your using it to kill them, or they leave it on the field and you use Kerykeion to do what you need to do by banishing Scout. It's a win-win, as long as you look at the long-term scope of things. Also remember that the side deck is always your best-friend after Game 1. <Side Deck not included.>--Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:19, July 21, 2013 (UTC)

I'll try it out a little later and tell you how it works out. Jones623 (talkcontribs) 19:43, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
Please do. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:57, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
Dueling Network has been down all day so I probably won't be able to test it until tomorrow. Jones623 (talkcontribs) 23:41, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
The deck is actually running a lot more consistently now! Thanks for the help. Jones623 (talkcontribs) 16:55, July 22, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Dark Magician Knight Deck

Hi. Sorry I didn't respond to the results. My friend is looking for a sturdy deck to start him off in a bit more competitive play without using a completely meta idea. He wants it to be based off of dark flare knight/mirage knight. The budget shouldn't be to low especially for making a deck like this so don't worry about that. Can you get a good deck list for him? Thanks. Mrfluffy2 (talkcontribs) 17:14, July 21, 2013 (UTC)

It's possible, but not that consistent. Mirage Knight is much harder to make a deck around than Dark Magician Knight. Would there be any chance your friend would switch to Magician Knight? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:45, July 23, 2013 (UTC)

He said that would be pretty cool. So a dark magician knight deck would be fine.Mrfluffy2 (talkcontribs) 15:58, July 23, 2013 (UTC)

Any particular budget? I know you said it wouldn't be too low, but I want to make it a deck he/she can afford. Although, many of the cards have been reprinted in Legendary Collection 2 and Legendary Collection 3, so it shouldn't be too bad. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:58, July 23, 2013 (UTC)

No budget. ^^ Mrfluffy2 (talkcontribs)

The deck's pretty straight forward. Use either Elemental HERO Stratos, Reinforcement of the Army, or E - Emergency Call to grab Prisma, use Prisma to reveal a Dark Paladin or Dark Flare Knight, then mill a Dark Magician to the grave, and then use Knight's Title on your Prisma, who is now being treated like "Dark Magician". That's an easy first turn play that can grab you Knight, although it's best to wait a little bit so you can actually destroy a card with Knight's effect. That's your basic play, but a play is only as good as the cards around it, so 3 Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude is great in a deck where all 18 of its Spell cards are Normal. Diamond Dude is great because when you use his effect, you get to ignore costs, so if you mill off Knight's Title, you don't have to tribute a "Dark Magician", you just get a free monster next turn! The same concept applies to Destiny Draw and Sacred Sword of Seven Stars, but it's also possible to use them normally if you do happen to draw them. Drawing the Dark Magicians was truly the worst, but with only two you shouldn't draw them too often, and even if you do, Dasher, Sacred Sword, and Allure of Darkness are all useful. You can also sometimes tribute summon Dark Magician if you need to. The most expensive card is probably Daigusto Emeral, but you need it, as it's the BEST Xyz to make after a Summoner Monk -> Prisma play, as it can revive the Dark Magician that was sent to the graveyard via Prisma.

You might want to test the deck some more, but I'm quite happy how the deck performed for me in my test duels. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:24, July 23, 2013 (UTC)

He loves it. Thanks man. :D Mrfluffy2 (talkcontribs) 22:13, July 23, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Atlanteans

Heya. Would it be possible to create an Atlantean build using as little Mermail support as possible? I'd like to have a deck that is as pure Atlantean as possible, though if it can't be helped and Mermail support needs to be included (in addition to other cards), it's no problem. Budget isn't an issue as well. Raztokk (talkcontribs) 00:36, July 24, 2013 (UTC)

No it's possible to make one without the Mermail stuff, I've done it a few times myself. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 03:02, July 24, 2013 (UTC)
Oh, it is possible? I didn't think it was; I thought that some decks needed certain "staples" to be decent (meta or non). Raztokk (talkcontribs) 07:33, July 24, 2013 (UTC)
Its possible to do using a few different things. Stream and Tidal would be pretty effective, as would Abyss Soldier, Abyss Warrior, and Tridon, the Atlantean Emperor. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 11:03, July 24, 2013 (UTC)

--Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:30, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

Hey thanks! I'll try it out soon and let you know what goes down. Looks fun to play from what I can see. Raztokk (talkcontribs) 03:00, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Traptrix

I was looking at random things on the site and I saw the Traptrix monsters. I was wondering, could you guys make a build for me using them? Thanks if you can. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 19:06, July 24, 2013 (UTC)

Adding link to monsters. There was one Traptrix Deck made for Forum:Deck Contest 39: Appear Realm of Light!, although at the time the monsters were known as "Man-Eater". Check that deck out, and if you want, I can update the deck. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:24, July 24, 2013 (UTC)
An update sounds fine to me. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 20:40, July 24, 2013 (UTC)

How does the above look? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:57, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

I'm about to try it out now, so I'll let you know in a few hours. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 15:57, July 26, 2013 (UTC)
I actually did pretty well with it; a lot of people didn't know what these cards even did. It was actually pretty funny when I would play trap cards from my hand with Atrax and people thought I misplayed. Thanks for the deck. SomeTigOlBitties (talkcontribs) 18:37, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - No Xyz Madolche

So, a bit of background for this request. I play against some buddies regularly, but they don't take the game as seriously as I do, so there are a bunch of house rules, like no Xyz or Synchro, which I totally understand, but it's quite restricting on what decks I can use. So with that said, do you think you could build a Madolche deck for me that doesn't use any Xyz? The only way I can think of to make it work is Madolche Baaple/Madolche Chirpolate Lockdown while you level up Madolche Cruffssant, but if you have any better ideas, then by all means go for it. Budget is no issue granted how cheap Madolche cards are and how I already have most of the staples that would be expensive-ish. --Breadbocks (talkcontribs) 13:59, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

I'm not going to say its impossible, but without Tiaramisu or any other Xyz's its going to be fairly difficult. It might be possible using Cruffsant and Puddingcess as a beatdown strategy. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 14:25, July 26, 2013 (UTC)
It certainly doesn't need to be tier 1 hyper competitive. It'll mostly be used against the likes of Blackwings without an extra deck and stuff, just needs to be usable. --Breadbocks (talkcontribs) 15:12, July 26, 2013 (UTC)
I'll see what I can do with this. Did you want it to be pure Madolche? Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 17:37, July 26, 2013 (UTC)
I'm fine with whatever support you need to make it work, just the main part of it is Madolche. --Breadbocks (talkcontribs) 18:07, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

Basically its a Madolche Beatdown deck. With triple Cruffssant, Magileine, and Hootcake you should be able to draw into them fairly early. Cruffssant is the main beater, since the attack boost doesn't wear off in the end phase you can continuously pump his attack. Puddingcess is the backup beater, being able to get up to a reasonable 2300 Atk with her own effect and Chateau, while also being able to pop a card when she battles another monster. Hootcake pairs nicely with Redox, being able to use Redox's effect to discard Hootcake, then use Hootcakes effect to bring out Messengelato or Puddingcess is invaluable. Rai-Oh stops all searches, which helps more than it hinders because once he's off the field you gain another summon off of Hootcake. The rest is pretty standard. If you need me to explain something feel free to ask. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 17:58, July 28, 2013 (UTC)

Looks good. Only question is why Madolche Nights instead of another Madolchepalooza or Breakthrough Skill? It seems much more situational than a bunch of free summons and there's no Queen to recycle it so you'd only get 1 use out of it. Other than that though, it's great. Much obliged. --Breadbocks (talkcontribs) 22:51, July 28, 2013 (UTC)

You can feel free to switch it out for something else you believe will help you more. I used it since it was searchable with Messengelato. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 23:35, July 28, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - T.G./Psychic

Hey guys! I saw a T.G. psychic hybrid deck the other day that was pretty good, it even had a fire formation card to search for the t.g. cards, I don't know how he did it, but I can't seem to duplicate it. Can you guys try your hands? No budget, this is for dueling network Maniac56 (talkcontribs) 15:50, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

He was probably using Fire Formation - Tenki to search for an early T.G. Warwolf (The only Beast-Warrior T.G.), that would let you use E-Teleport to summon a Tuner, then you could summon out Warwolf for a Synchro summon. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:01, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, that was it. Do you still think you could try to build the deck, I haven't been able to make a good deck. Maniac56 (talkcontribs) 16:02, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

Can we use OCG cards? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:21, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

Anything you want, it doesn't matter. Maniac56 (talkcontribs) 17:26, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

Oh, forgot the DN part. Sorry. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:29, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

You may want to test this some more, but how does it look? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:32, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

Looks pretty good, any way you could try to gear it towards a quasar? Just wondering, since he pulled it about 7 turns in. Maniac56 (talkcontribs) 22:59, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

Do you know what Tuner Synchro he used? I can't think of a way without using the Plant engine. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:55, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

He used the T.G. Synchro tuner, since it has spell destruction and draw power. Maniac56 (talkcontribs) 02:14, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

Let me mess around with this some more. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:48, July 27, 2013 (UTC)
Testing a mew build, but a 2nd turn Crimson Blader ended the duel! Check it out! Blader is amazing against E-Drags. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:14, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

Basically, summon back Cyber Magician with Junk Synchron, summon a Doppel from your hand, that lets you make a Level 5 Synchro, a Recipro Dragonfly, and you hopefully have the other Wonder Magician on the field. Also, that same play lets you make the classic Hyper Librarian and Formula Synchron combo, and again you need to muster the other Level 5 from somewhere else. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:45, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

You might need to drop a Synchro for Power Gladiator, but it might be fine without it. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:47, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

it works great! thanks.I dropped Silent Psychic Wizard for Destructotron, and used Psychokinesis instead of MST, and found that it works a bit better. I might try to take a Creature swap out, since with Psychokinesis, it isn't needed as much, and add a Miracle Synchro fusion, and drop a synchro for Ultimate Axon kicker. Other than that you managed to find a really good balance that I couldn't seem to find, so thank you very much. Maniac56 (talkcontribs) 16:20, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

You need a Psychic type Synchro for Axon. Although, Supreme Arcanite Magician works in this deck too. But glad you like the deck. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 16:22, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm still toying with the deck, and thanks for mentioning him, I would have never though of that >:D. Maniac56 (talkcontribs) 18:55, July 27, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - ~Evol~

This is the first time I've requested a deck, so excuse me if I do something wrong. Anyway, I want to request an Evol deck. No budget. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. TheLinKueiBrotherhood (talkcontribs) 16:33, July 28, 2013 (UTC)

Did you want to focus more on the Level 4 build? Or did you feel like messing around with Evolsaur Darwino? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 18:26, July 28, 2013 (UTC)
I'm just curious, how would the Darwino build work exactly? TheLinKueiBrotherhood (talkcontribs) 18:39, July 28, 2013 (UTC)
Summon Evoltile Najasho and use Evo-Force, then summon 2 Darwino from your deck. Use the 2 Darwino effects to make either a Rank 5, 6, or 7 Xyz Monster. Although with that play, you really have to know how timing issues work and how SEGOC works, but it's really easy once you get the hang of it. Even if you draw Darwino, it's usually not too bad, assuming you have Enemy Controller. At the end of the day though, you'll still be able to pull all the normal Evol stuff with Vulcano, Laggia, & Dolka. Does that help at all? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:13, July 29, 2013 (UTC)
All right, I think I'll try the Darwino build. I asked because I'm not too experienced with the deck yet. TheLinKueiBrotherhood (talkcontribs) 12:45, July 29, 2013 (UTC)

It's not too difficult. Your basic plays are to set a Westlo and then summon out a Cerato/Diplo/Vulcano to make an Evolzar next turn. The next basic play is to summon Najasho and use Evo-Force to tribute him and summon out two Evolsaurs that you need. Now I'm going to explain the timing issues involved with summoning 2 Darwino from a Naj and Evo-Force. After Evo-Force has resolved and summoned a Darwino, you get to pick the order of how Darwino and Naj will resolve, since they're both optional effects. Both effects will start a chain, and you get to pick the order, you'll want to have Naj as Chain Link 1 and Darwino as Chain Link 2. Darwino will resolve first and increase his own level by 0, 1, or 2, depending on what you want to go into. After Darwino resolves, Naj will resolve and you get to summon out another Darwino and change its level to match the other one. Most of the time, people don't notice, but it's important to remember. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:49, July 29, 2013 (UTC)

I like it. Job well done. TheLinKueiBrotherhood (talkcontribs) 03:14, July 30, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Amazoness

I would like a competitive Amazoness deck or at least as competitive as it gets. If possible I would like it to run Macro Cosmos. There is no budget and TCG or OCG its all fair game. Thanks in advance Pimpedoutsquash (talkcontribs) 17:02, August 1, 2013 (UTC)

I'll take a look at this if on one else wants to. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:57, August 3, 2013 (UTC)
SM10 said he'd do this one, so I'll hand it over to him. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:28, August 4, 2013 (UTC)
Apparently I'm doing this one. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:58, August 10, 2013 (UTC)

For the extra deck, just include staples and stuff like Blade Armor Ninja/Excalibur. This wasn't too bad, but its more of a casual deck, however the free monsters from Village help let you take more risks with your monsters. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:37, August 10, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - JOTL Nimbles

So yeah, some cards I wanted like Herald of Pure Light and Fishborg Archer came out overseas in Judgment of the Light. I was wondering if I could get some work with a Nimble deck involving those two cards from the set. I want to try to make it as trapless as possible. I haven't used a trap in a deck since the start of the year, hehe. I hope to see what you guys come up with! AnnoyingMacroPrick (talkcontribs) 02:25, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

I'll do this. Nephthy (talkcontribs) 13:25, August 5, 2013 (UTC)
I can't wait to see what you'll come up with! I can skimp on Archer if he doesn't fit. I've been testing and he hasn't been a saving grace. AnnoyingMacroPrick (talkcontribs) 04:58, August 6, 2013 (UTC)

So, this is the current version. Nothing really special, but it's a decent deck. I know it took a long time, but my internet wasn't too reliable. Capable of quick swarm then OTK or stalling a few turns. You can easily summon Nimble monsters with Nimble Angler's effect (which doesn't miss the timing). You have Genex Undine to send it from the deck and Genex Controller can be used with Herald to freely retrieve Angler or another monster from your grave. The E-Dragons are also great to mill or discard Angler. You can use the summoned Nimble monsters with Lemuria for Rank 5-6 or with Galaxy Queen's Light for Rank 7&10. Exodius is here to recycle everything and is level 10 for Galaxy Queen. MAxx "C" is just a great hand-trap. When you can't OTK, you can easily return it to your hand with Herald. I run Treacherous Trap Hole, because I find it an amazing card. If you don't agree, you can drop it maybe for another Galaxy Queen's Light or 1 more Dragon Ruler. I didn't include a side deck, but it should be OK if you fill it with some high level monsters against certain decks. For example Invader of Darkness and Spell Canceller against Prophecy, Obelisk and Angel O7 against Dragon Rulers. About Fishborg Archer: you can include it and make xyz with Genex Undine or synchro, but most of the Xyz monsters you summon in this deck are not water. You have to wait a turn before attacking or use extra cards to protect your monsters, so it's just not really a help. If you are not satisfied with the deck, I'm always open to changes, but I won't have an internet connection in the next 2 days, so you can ask someone else here or wait. But I hope you will like the deck like I do :)Nephthy (talkcontribs) 12:38, August 7, 2013 (UTC)

You took 2 days to do this Nephthy, it wasn't that long. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:03, August 7, 2013 (UTC)

Um, I'm sorry, but I don't really like the Lemuria build or with Genexes. I was kind of expecting an Obelisk build, you know, with Obelisk the Tormentor, Light and Darkness Dragon, and the cards like Vanity's Fiend and Archlord Kristya. AnnoyingMacroPrick (talkcontribs) 04:02, August 8, 2013 (UTC)

Nep. said you could swap out a few cards for those. Also, I think you could swap out 1 Gustav Max for a Skypalace Gangaridai, it's probably not needed, but Gangaridai just looks boss. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:56, August 8, 2013 (UTC)

I'll do some edits to make it tribute summon oriented. The xyz version is more aggressive, while with high level monsters, it's slower and becomes some kind of a control/lockdown deck. Of course, with tribute summons, the Genex engine is out. It's not so great if you want to normal summon other cards... I may add 1 more Tidal and maybe something else to send the high level monsters to the grave to retrieve with Herald. This way, it's more consistent although vulnerable to Veiler and Breakthrough Skill. I may also add some more frogs as tribute fodder. I probably won't change more than 15 cards, so it's interesting to swap the versions between duels:) Nephthy (talkcontribs) 14:46, August 9, 2013 (UTC)

It was much harder then expected to find a good balance of cards and I'm still not totally satisfied with the result. I prefer the Xyz version, but here it is. The strategy is fairly simple. You special summon as many Nimbles as needed (this is usually not a problem) then tribute them to summon a monster that hopefully cripples your opponent (that's sometimes a problem). What do you think?

Nephthy (talkcontribs) 19:08, August 13, 2013 (UTC)

I'll practice with this deck for a while and see if I'll like it. Thank you very much! AnnoyingMacroPrick (talkcontribs) 20:26, August 14, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - 2011 Six Samurai

Hi i have the video game over the nexus and i want to build a six samurai deck for the old 2011 banlist please. DarkestKnight16 (talkcontribs) 20:50, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

Did that game use March or September? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:15, August 5, 2013 (UTC)
It starts at September 2010's banlist. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 22:34, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah i think its september banlistDarkestKnight16 (talkcontribs) 23:20, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

SM10 said he had this on his game, so I'll let him give me his list later. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:26, August 7, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry for the long wait, SM10's internet is currently down. So I made a decklist in his place.

How does this work for you? The extra deck is pretty flexible, change it to suit your needs. If you need an explaination on using it, just ask. Also if this is the wrong banlist tell me so i can change it to the correct one. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 00:39, August 15, 2013 (UTC)

Haste, doesn't the game use September 2010? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:31, August 15, 2013 (UTC)
The game starts with September 2010's list, but you can download September 2011's list. Plus the requester asked for it to be made for the old 2011 banlist. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 14:58, August 15, 2013 (UTC)
Right --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:08, August 15, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - Nordic

Hey guys, I was wondering, could you make a Nordic deck for me? I want it to be able to summon Odin, Thor, and Loki if possible. No budget. AmorRosea (talkcontribs) 23:43, August 8, 2013 (UTC)

Can you check in the Galleries? We have some older ones that can probably be edited to do that. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:07, August 11, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, there is one called Lords of the Aesir V.Lappyzard. An update for that deck will suffice. AmorRosea (talkcontribs) 16:22, August 11, 2013 (UTC)

I updated Lappy's build, and if it weren't for using all the Aesirs, I would have made T.G. Nordic. Anyway, the deck should perform as it needs to. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 00:05, August 15, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for the deck Ace. I'm actually kind of glad you didn't do T.G. Nordic to be honest. AmorRosea (talkcontribs) 18:58, August 15, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - The Agent

Hey Guys,I'm wanting a deck that already have a deck list, so if you guys can give me I will be grateful thanks Eduardo baumgratz (talkcontribs) 14:51, August 11, 2013 (UTC)

Do you have a budget? Did you want to keep Sanctuary in the Sky, not every Agent build uses one. Did you want to keep it all Fairy? There are some builds that capitalize on the Soul of Purity and Light and Lightray Sorcerer + Lightray Madoor to create Rank 6 and Level 8 Synchro plays. I need more information to understand what direction you want the deck to go in. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:11, August 11, 2013 (UTC)

(answer: I have no idea how many cost this deck.but I plan a cost of $ 70, but I have a question. deck out completely free? will be required or a cost? Eduardo baumgratz (talkcontribs) 15:21, August 11, 2013 (UTC)

We build the decklist for free, but it's your job to get the cards and make the deck. Is that what you meant? --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:25, August 11, 2013 (UTC)

yes, that's what I tried to say. another thing I have to specify? Eduardo baumgratz (talkcontribs) 15:29, August 11, 2013 (UTC)

I'm guessing that you want to have a more pure Fairy version of the deck, right? I'm also going to leave the wiki for a bit, but I should be back in the afternoon, just answer/confirm the previous point, and I'll get back to you. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:33, August 11, 2013 (UTC)

Yes, i want a pure fairy deck. when you return tell me if you have anything more to do ok, thank you Eduardo baumgratz (talkcontribs) 15:40, August 11, 2013 (UTC)

No, I think I have all the info I need. I'll have this ready when I'm comfortable with it. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 19:35, August 11, 2013 (UTC)
Just wondering, but did you want to wait until the September 1st Forbidden & Limited List is announced? It's only 8 days away from Konami's posting. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:04, August 12, 2013 (UTC)

yes Dark ace, i can wait for september thank you Eduardo baumgratz (talkcontribs) 16:48, August 13, 2013 (UTC)

Okay, I'll post up after we get a more confirmed banlist. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:56, August 13, 2013 (UTC)

ok, i will wait for the answer Eduardo baumgratz (talkcontribs) 23:55, August 14, 2013 (UTC)

Alright, well we should have a banlist from Shriek anyday now. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 02:22, August 15, 2013 (UTC)
We do have a banlist from Shriek, the TCG list could be different, but probably won't be. See http://shriek.twoday.net/. I'll get started on putting this deck together. Should have it ready by the end of the day, as I already made this a while ago. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 14:40, August 16, 2013 (UTC)

So here's what I did to your original build. I took the Agent engine you had, and basically beefed it up a bit more. I added in another Shine Ball and 2 more Jupiter. If you're wondering why we need 3 Jupiter, remember that Jupiter has a good change to gain his "The Sanctuary in the Sky" effect in this build. So to capitalize on that effect, we're running 3 Cards from the Sky, 2 Gold Sarcophagus, and 2 Dimensional Alchemist, not to mention Master Hyperion. All that banishing means that Jupiter will have lots of targets for his effect, and seeing as we're running 3 Sanctuaries and 2 Zeradias, we'll see Sanctuary quite often. Not to mention that Cards form the Sky adds lots of consistency to this build. I chose to use only 5 "boss" monsters. 3 Master Hyperion is obvious, but 2 Archlord Kristya is a card that can steal games away from the opponent. Sure we can't make Special Summons, but neither can the opponent. Plus, they'll have to waste their traps and power cards trying to get rid of Kristya, which means when she does leave the field, you can capitalize on your opponent's thin resources with a Master Hyperion play. Also, remember that Herald of Faithful Light, Mechquipped Angineer, and Fairy Cheer Girl are all LIGHT Fairy-type monsters for Hyperion. Finally, if you can afford a Angel of Zera, get it, I left it out because I didn't know how if you could get it. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 15:19, August 16, 2013 (UTC)

thank you so much Ace! Now what i have to do? just wait for more informations? Eduardo baumgratz (talk • [[Special:Contributions/Eduardo

All you need is to buy the cards from an online vendor/site (Like Ebay, CoreTCG, etc.) and make the deck. This forum thread does nothing else for you. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:49, August 18, 2013 (UTC)

Finished - X-Saber Update for Regionals

Hi DFF deckbuilders. We are contemplating attending the regionals out this way on September 7th - yup, right after the new ban list goes into effect. One deck we'd like to bring is our old X-Saber deck. The trouble is, it is sadly out of date with the current meta. Can you take a look-see, and bring this up-to-date, keeping in mind your best guess of what the September TCG banlist may be? Here is the deck list:

The favorite play here is to summon Boggart, ss Fulhelm Knight from hand, ss Faultroll. Then synchro Fulhelm with Boggart for a level 7, and bring back Boggart.

A suggested side deck would be appreciated too. No spending limit on this one. Thanks for your time and help! ---Kungfu-mama (Talk) 14:38, August 22, 2013 (UTC)

I'll make some edits to my current build, just need to make it TCG legal. Also the September banlist has been confirmed. You can find it here http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/index.html. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 14:51, August 22, 2013 (UTC)
Closing Decks for Free! based on discussion on PM. Just finish this one up Haste. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 17:00, August 22, 2013 (UTC)

As for a Side, its going to be a little harder to come up with something right now. Since the Meta isn't established yet, but I have a few decks in mind that would most likely pop up. Fire Fists, Mermails, Bujins, Chaos Dragons, Glad Beasts, Dark Worlds, maybe Prophecy and Fire Kings. I would suggest Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror for Dark Worlds and possibly Chaos Dragons, Light-Imprisoning Mirror for Bujins, Overworked for Fire Fists, Imperial Iron Wall just in case you run into a Dragon Ruler hybrid and Prophecy, an extra MST and a few Night Beams for Glad Beasts and other backrow heavy decks, you can try Soul Drain for Mermails and Dark Worlds, but its at 1 come September and I'm not sure if you'll draw it when you need it. Gemini Imps might not be a bad choice for Dark Worlds as well, and even though it conflicts with Gottoms' Emergency Call and Faultroll you can use Royal Prison for Zombies.

Also I'm a little wary of Emmersblade going into this format, I'm not entirely sure what it will hold and if Fire Fists and Mermails make a return he might not be destroyed by battle that much. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 16:40, August 23, 2013 (UTC)

So should we side Emmersblade just in case the new format isn't toxic for it? If so any suggestions as to what to remove?

If the new format isn't going to be crazy with destruction effects, Emmersblade could be sided or even main decked at probably 2. If you're going to main deck him, then maybe move 1 "C" and Veiler to the side. If you're going to side them I would probably adjust the numbers for the Imprisoning Mirrors, depending on what decks you think will make a bigger impact. Sorry if I couldn't really help with the side deck, this new format is going to take some time to get use to it. Hastydemon2 (talkcontribs) 20:47, August 23, 2013 (UTC)
Request will be moved to archives in a few days, if it's done. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:30, August 23, 2013 (UTC)

You folks are AWESOME , like always. Thanks for the rapid service. Now on to buying the cards.-Kungfu-mama (Talk) 15:30, August 24, 2013 (UTC)
