Skull Archfiend of Lightning VS Forced Back.
For those who don't know.
Skull Archfiend of Lightning allows, "When this card is specifically designated as a target of the effect of a card controlled by your oppenent, when resolving the effect, roll a six-sided die." And if its a one three or six, Cards negated. Kaboomy...
Forced Back. Qoute on Qoute
"Negate the Normal Summon or Flip Summon of a monster and return the monster to its owner's hand."
What's toying with me is, I summon archfiend, And forced back is played. Does my effect activate and do i get to roll a die? Or is it just all she wrote because its negated the summon. (Even though its specifically targeted ofcourse)
Skull Archfiend of Lightning's effect only applies when he's face-up on the field. Forced Back activates before the monster is considered to be "on the field", so SKoL's effect doesn't work.
It's the same reason why Forced Back can be used against Jinzo. --Deus Ex Machina 01:14, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
