Most monsters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME have either a higher ATK value or a higher DEF value, they are rarely equal. By manipulating the Battle Position of your opponent's monsters, you can destroy them easier. If the opponent has a "Mad Dog of Darkness" in ATK position, that is 1900 ATK points you have to overcome. But if you use "Enemy Controller" and change its Battle Position, it only has 1400 DEF points. Now you can attack with a 1500 ATK monster and destroy it. "Zero Gravity" will change the Battle Position of all the opponent's monsters, but it will affect yours to. You should activate "Zero Gravity" before you Summon if you are going to use it.
