Stone Statue of the Aztecs[edit]

Is this not the same card as "Stone Statue of the Aztecs". It has the same artwork as "Stone Statue of the Aztecs" had in the anime and appear in the same Duel. Thing is, while some cards tend to change English names quite a bit before they're released in the TCG, they almost never change their Japanese names. -- Deltaneos (talk) 15:27, November 30, 2009 (UTC)

I've looked at the English manga again and it uses both names, "Stone Statue of the Aztecs" and "Barrieroid Garman", to refer to the same card. When it's in his hand, it's called "Barrieroid Garman". Two panels later, he Summons it and it's called "Stone Statue of the Aztecs". However, the Master of the Cards at the end of the volume, included both names as separate cards. I'm pretty sure this is just a mistake. The translators should have just picked one of the names and stuck with it.
But if we look at this from purely the Japanese version, it's "壁男ガーマン" in the manga and has no effect. When it was made a real card, it was given an effect and had its name changed to "アステカの石像", which would make it like "Doll of Demise" and "Malice Doll of Demise", who as far as we're concerned are two different cards. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:54, July 1, 2010 (UTC)
