Uploading a high resolution scan of every page of the book is surely copyright violation. Fair use will let us use a few images which are relevant to what the article is describing. Posting the entire contents of the book is seriously overkill. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:32, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

I'm all for using only a few images, instead of the whole thing. I think it would be appropriate if the article contains one image for every Yu-Gi-Oh series (1 for DM, 1 for GX, etc.).--PoirotH (talk • contribs) 16:11, December 26, 2011 (UTC)

The book seems to focus mainly on the original Yu-Gi-Oh! (Duelist/Millennium World) manga, which makes sense since it's a Kazuki Takahashi book. There is one image depicting Dark Yugi, Judai and Yusei and one with the card artwork for "Magi Magi ☆ Magician Gal". I don't know if there are images more specific to GX, 5D's or ZEXAL. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:52, December 26, 2011 (UTC)

Yes, the book mainly focuses on DM, as it should. But I swear I have seen artwork from the other series in it too. I'm sure other users can attest to this as well.--PoirotH (talk • contribs) 18:18, December 26, 2011 (UTC)

Hmmm, yeah, after looking for more information it turns out you're right. The ones posted here earlier, were mainly original series, but there are a number of GX, 5D's, ZEXAL images after all. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:52, December 26, 2011 (UTC)

There are different types of images:

• "Anniversary" layout card images
• Original colour images (including bunkoban covers, ones from the Studio Dice website and ones first appearing in the book.)
• Rough lineart sketches (Among other things, including some rejected designs)
• Older colour images that have already been printed in the manga. e.g. the covers of the volumes.

Maybe we should aim for one of each type of image, while also covering each series? The trouble is GX, 5D's and ZEXAL are only used in the middle two types. But we could use mixed series images or divide the second bullet into the three categories I have in brackets after it. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:21, December 26, 2011 (UTC)
