'Offending' Material[edit]

i think we should change the reference to "asian mythology's" to include "and religions" so as not to offend anybody50.142.207.159 (talk) 16:59, November 24, 2012 (UTC)

How about we wait and see if someone -does- actually get offended by it before we do that.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 18:35, November 24, 2012 (UTC)
Mythology is one aspect of religion, not religion itself. I think the correct rendering of that sentence should be "They are based on mythological creatures from different Asian religions, such as...". "Mythological" doesn't necessarily mean false. Myths come from faith, divine inspiration, unknown origin etc. rather than historical sources. So I don't think it would be offensive to call the Garuda mythological, but it would be offensive to call Siddhartha Gautama, another Buddhist figure, mythological. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:22, November 24, 2012 (UTC)
Actually considering Balinese mythology, or at least the Barong, is not part of a religion, "They are based on mythological creatures from Asian religion and folklore, such as..." or simply they are based on "Asian mythological creatures from..." would be better. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:32, November 24, 2012 (UTC)

Inari Fire?[edit]

Inari Fire bears a similar effect to the rest of the Archestype. Wouldn't it be a good addition for suggestions? Xerdek! (talkcontribs) 23:27, January 26, 2013 (UTC)

Cheesedude once told me that similar effects have absolutely nothing to do with relation between monsters, since a lot of unrelated monsters have similar effects, so I don't think it should be added. Neos01 (talkcontribs) 23:31, January 26, 2013 (UTC)
That's true, but I think he was suggesting that we add it to the suggested cards list in this article. Whether or not that's a good idea I can't tell you, since I don't play. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:17, January 27, 2013 (UTC)
