is the effect of this monster optional?I mean,if my opponent don't have a monster,do I need to destroy one of mines?

  • Yup, you'd destroy one of your own monsters. The effect isn't optional. --Bluedog (Talk) 23:32, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

If my opponent attacks my Man-Eater Bug with the only monster they control on their side of the field, Man-Eater Bug is flipped face-up. After this, do I activate the effect, thus destroying the attacking monster? Or do I send Man-Eater Bug to the Graveyard and calculate Battle Damage first? 122.148.43.215 08:49, March 7, 2010 (UTC)

  • Damage Calculation
  • Flip Effects now resolve
  • Monsters sent to grave as result of battle

Basically, both players lose a monster. Man-Eater Bug is destroyed by battle, Opponent's monster is destroyed by Man-Eater Bug's Effect. Falzar FZ 08:56, March 7, 2010 (UTC)
