I asked to Upper Deck Entertainment for more information. The ruling for Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon is now edited.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Tributing 1 "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" on your side of the field. Increase the ATK of this card by 300 points for each Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard.

Thats What It Says On The FrontPage Hope This Helps! : )

this is my favorite card and it is also a loop hole card too. as long as you keep tributing 1 reds eyes B. dragon you can special summon it from anywhere your hand your deck and yes even your graveyard

Uhh, no. If a card doesn't specify where it can be special summoned from, it implies the hand, unless it says that it can only be special summoned by the effect of another card and THAT card specifies. In other words, you can only special summon him from the hand.74.73.142.163 23:12, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

  • As it is now solid NOMI, right? FredCat100 23:30, November 12, 2009 (UTC)

This is only a theory I have, so bare with me. What if you followed the rules like this: Red Eyes Darkness can only be special summoned by offering a Red Eyes Black. Per it's effect, Red Eyes Darkness cannot be special summoned from the graveyard because it doesn't specify that. Now, here's the question. Say you have a Red Eyes Black Dragon on the field, with Red Eyes Darkness in the graveyard. You activate a card, like Monster Reborn or Call of the Haunted or something similar, and sacrifice Red Eyes Black Dragon at the same time to cover the cost of Red Eyes Darkness in the graveyard. Would that work?

  • I don't believe so. Well, I'm not the expert on Yu-Gi-Oh rulings, but I am pretty sure that you can't sacrifice a card unless it is part of a cost, and no two events happen simultaneously. So, no, I don't believe that would work.--Qim1 23:11, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
