- This card works well against cards like "Compulsory Evacuation Device" and "Fiendish Chain" so that they target your opponent's monsters instead; you can also make your opponent's "Mystical Space Typhoon", "Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear" and "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" destroy or banish one of their cards.
- If your opponent attempts to use the effect of a card such as "Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand" or "Safe Zone" to protect one of their monsters, you can use this card to redirect the target to ensure their monster is defenseless. Very useful considering this card's effect can be used as many times as possible per turn and chain, allowing you to counter two of your opponent's effects in the same chain.
- This card works well in a Phantom Knights Deck. You can Xyz Summon it after Special Summoning two Level 3 Phantom Knight monsters through The Phantom Knights of Break Sword.
