• This card can also work well in a Deck that has continually recurring monsters, such as "Treeborn Frog" or Pendulum Monsters.
  • "D.D. Scout Plane" and "D.D. Survivor" can serve this role, if an effect like that of "Banisher of the Radiance" or "Dimensional Fissure" is active.

• This card can be used to Tribute the likes of "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest" and "Emissary of the Afterlife", triggering their effects and searching the "Exodia" pieces.

OTKs

• By controlling this card alongside a Tuner monster and "Imperial Iron Wall", while "Quillbolt Hedgehog" is in the Graveyard, it is possible to perform an OTK by continuously Special Summoning "Quillbolt Hedgehog" with its own effect and Tributing it for this card's effect, as "Iron Wall" prevents it from being banished.
  • Alternatively, by controlling a Tuner monster and having 2 "Quillbolt Hedgehogs" in the Graveyard, you can Special Summon them and use them to Xyz Summon a Rank 2 Monster, which you then Tribute with this card's effect. Repeat this until you have dealt at least 6000 damage, then Special Summon the "Quillbot Hedgehogs" again and Tribute them, then the Tuner and finally this card for 2000 damage.

• With at least one copy of "Morphtronic Telefon" on the field and the other in your Graveyard, each copy's effect can be used to repeatedly revive the other copy in the GY for Tribute fodder, ensuring an OTK.

• With one "Spear Cretin" in your Graveyard, one Set or flipped face-up on the field and a card like "All-Out Attacks" active, Tribute the "Spear Cretin" for this card's effect, letting you revive the other one in face-down Defense Position, which is then flipped face-up by "All-Out Attacks", and repeat until victory.

• Activate "Fusion Gate" and "Chain Material", then Summon this card. Using "Chain Material" and "Fusion Gate", Fusion Summon "Elemental HERO Electrum". "Elemental HERO Electrum" returns its banished Fusion Material Monsters to the Deck. Tribute it for this card's effect, then use "Fusion Gate" and "Chain Material" to Summon another. Since the first "Electrum" was banished by "Dimensional Fissure" or "Macro Cosmos", it is returned to your Extra Deck, along with the Fusion Materials, when the second is Summoned. Repeat until victory.

Traditional Format

• This card can be searched by "Last Will".

• "Snatch Steal" or "Change of Heart" can be used to take control of an opponent's monster and Tribute it for this card's effect.

• This card can be used in place of "Mass Driver".

• With "Imperial Iron Wall" and "Card of Safe Return" active, this card on the field and "Plaguespreader Zombie" in the Graveyard, activate the effect of "Plaguespreader Zombie", return 1 card from your hand to the top of your Deck and Special Summon it. "Card of Safe Return" causes you to Draw the card you just returned to your deck. Tribute "Zombie" for this card's effect, while "Iron Wall" prevents it from being banished. Repeat until victory.

• When your LP are equal to or more than your opponent's, use "Ultimate Offering" to Summon "Black Ptera" and this card, then Tribute "Black Ptera". "Black Ptera" returns to your hand as it was sent to the Graveyard, but not by battle. Summon again with "Ultimate Offering" and repeat until victory. If your Life Points are less than 500 points more than your opponent's, Tribute this card at the end of this loop for victory.
