- This card can be searched by "Trap Trick", "Trap Tracks", "Lady Labrynth of the Silver Castle", "Lilith, Lady of Lament", "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Angel of Blue Tears", "Farewelcome Labrynth", "Labrynth Set-Up", and other generic searchers.
- Protect Tuner monsters using this card with an extra side effect like "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind" to continuously halve the ATK and DEF of monsters your opponent controls for 2 turns.
- While this card is outclassed by "Waboku" and "Threatening Roar" for battle protection, it can be used to save stronger Tuners like "Rose, Warrior of Revenge" and "Scrap Beast" from "Bottomless Trap Hole".
- Using this card with "Mist Valley Soldier" allows you to bounce monsters back to your opponent's hand. Since the protection lasts until the End Phase of the next turn, you can use it on your opponent's turn to prevent "Soldier" from being destroyed in battle and bounce a monster, then attack another big monster in your turn to bounce it too. You trade 1 card and some LP for a lot of your opponent's tempo. If you bounced Synchro/Fusion Monsters, it's as good as removal.
