Synchro Festival is an event that took place in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel from April 12, 2022 to April 22, 2022. The second iteration ran from 19 June 2023, 14:00 (EDT) through 28 June 2023, 23:59 (EDT), parallel to the "Legend Anthology: Academy" event.
During this event, the player can earn Medals by Dueling using a Loaner Deck or their own Deck. They earn 500 Medals when they win and 50 Medals when they lose, regardless of whether they're using a Loaner or their own Deck. No Medals are earned if the player surrenders.
This event's missions were combined with the ones for the "Legend Anthology: Academy" event also running at the time, compiled under "Festival (June)". However, this event's introduction added the following missions, which could also be subsequently completed in the "Legend Anthology: Academy" event.
A "Ghoti" Deck that takes advantage of banishing. The Level 2 "Ghoti" Tuner Monster has an effect that Special Summons itself to its own field at a specific timing, if it was banished. Prepare your field during your turn, and use the effects such as that of "Paces, Light of the Ghoti" to Synchro Sumon a Fish-type Synchro Monster on your opponent's turn.
