Whispers among sailors of the "Isle of Gold."

Drawn were the many, by tales bold. Is it desire or a curse that takes hold?

The story begins with a study, we're told.

Cursed Golden Land is a Solo Mode Gate in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel and focuses on the "Eldlich" archetype.

Like most Gates in Solo Mode, each Duel can be played with either the player's own Deck or a provided Loaner Deck fitting the theme of the Gate, with separate rewards for each. Completing this gate for the first time unlocks the "Immortal Royalty" Secret Pack for 24 hours.

Chapter 3: Duel 1[edit]

"Eldlich the Golden Lord" has a powerful effect but requires sending a Spell or Trap Card to the Graveyard as an activation cost. Keep track of Magic and Trap Cards that are effective in the Graveyard to get an advantage in Duels. After activation, not only do "Golden Land" Continuous Trap Cards continue to be treated as Trap Cards after being Special Summoned as monsters, but also have effects that can be activated in the Graveyard. Make good use of these tools to achieve victory!

Loaner Deck[edit]

A Zombie-Type Deck based around "Eldlich the Golden Lord." "Eldlich the Golden Lord" has an effect that activates in your hand or the Graveyard. Make sure to pay attention to the situation outside of the field. Activate the effect of "Eldlich the Golden Lord" by sending cards to the Graveyard. Choose cards that activate in the Graveyard—no fuss, no muss! Use this well to make Duels go your way.

Opponent's Deck[edit]

A Zombie-Type monster Deck using "Eldlich the Golden Lord". "Eldlixir" cards can Special Summon non-"Eldlich" Zombie-Type monsters when you have an "Eldlich" monster on your field. The likes of "Gozuki" can prepare you to Special Summon "Eldlich the Golden Lord" early in the Duel, offering you better opportunities!

Chapter 3.1: Locked[edit]

You must have the Icon ("Eldlich the Golden Lord") to unlock this chapter.

Chapter 3.2: Duel 2[edit]

The opponent combines the "Golden Land" Continuous Trap Card with Continuous Trap Cards like "Statue of Anguish Pattern" that turn into monsters after activation to steal initiative on the field. Also be warned that they use cards like "Zoma the Spirit" which trigger effects if destroyed recklessly. Still "Vampire" cards and the effect of "Eldlich the Golden Lord" can break through the opponent's cards without destroying them. Make good use of these tools!

Loaner Deck[edit]

A Deck that combines "Vampire" and "Eldlich the Golden Lord" cards. Support the deployment of "Vampire" cards with the effects of "Eldlixir" cards! "Golden Land" Continuous Trap Cards that become monsters after activation can also be used as material to Normal or Special Summon. You can also send cards in your Deck to the Graveyard with the effect of "The Zombie Vampire" to activate cards like "Eldlich the Golden Lord" that activate in the Graveyard. Use the proud Zombie-Type monsters as the situation warrants to take control of the battle!

Opponent's Deck[edit]

A Deck focused on synergy between "Golden Land" Continuous Trap Cards, and Continuous Trap Cards that become Monster Cards after activation, such as "Zoma the Spirit." "Statue of Anguish Pattern" can destroy a field card when another card is Special Summoned from the Spell/Trap Zone. Combine this with the likes of "Conquistador of the Golden Land" to decimate the opponent's cards. When you are ready, "Eldlich the Golden Lord" can be Special Summoned with its effect, giving you enough ATK power to put the kibosh on your opponent!

Chapter 3.3: Duel 3[edit]

The opponent Special Summons powerful Level 10 monsters like "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms" early and supports them with "Eldlich the Golden Lord" and "Golden Land" Continuous Trap Cards. If you take too long to deal with them, they will activate powerful cards like "Fallen Paradise," putting you in a more and more precarious position. Deal with these quickly with a combination of "Zombie World" and "Doomking Balerdroch." Once you break their formation, it won't be so easy to rebuild. They'll fold like a house of cards.

  • Reward (Loaner): Mate ("Eldlixir")
  • Reward (My Deck): 200 Gem-Master Duel.png

Loaner Deck[edit]

A Deck which employs "Eldlich the Golden Lord" and "Doomking Balerdroch" as its ace monsters. The most important parts are the "Eldlixir" cards. Using "Eldlich" monsters on the field lets you Summon Zombie-Type monsters like "Necroworld Banshee" who specialize in support. Completely overwhelm the opponents with Zombie-Type monsters that revive again and again!

Opponent's Deck[edit]

A Deck helmed by ace cards like "Eldlich the Golden Lord" and the monsters known as the Sacred Beasts. "Golden Land" Continuous Trap Cards can support the Special Summoning of "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames." Make it easier to Special Summon "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" by combining "Eldlich the Golden Lord" and "Opening of the Spirit Gates," Level 10 monsters that are relatively easy to Special Summon. Special Summon powerful monsters one after another to clinch the battle in an instant!
