A former professional duelist, he formed a Tag team with Seichiro Yoshimitsu, a friend from his school days, and had a good career of him, but he was suddenly forced to retire, with rumors saying that it was a conspiracy masterminded by certain important individuals.
Upon retiring, he fell in despair, broke up the Tag team, and began wandering around aimlessly.
Despite that, he could not throw away his passion for dueling, and he now considers using his participation in Battle City as a step to return to the professional circuit.

Fairly aggressive, has a scary look to him, and is rather foul-mouthed, but he is also surprisingly caring and legitimately skilled, so anybody under his wing finds him very reliable.
He could be said to possess leadership qualities, and a small local team is being formed with him as its leader.
