その話術（わじゅつ）で女性（じょせい）に次々（つぎつぎ）とアプローチするため、一見（いっけん）軽薄（けいはく）なプレイボーイに見（み）えるが、その実（じつ）は、ただ単（たん）に女性（じょせい）に優（やさ）しい紳士（しんし）であるだけなのかもしれないし、軽薄（けいはく）なプレイボーイであるかもしれない。

多（おお）くの女性（じょせい）とつきあっているが、彼（かれ）自身（じしん）はつきあっている自覚（じかく）は無（な）く、ただ紳士的（しんしてき）に接（せっ）しているつもりなだけだと思（おも）わせるような節（ふし）もある。
あるいは、そう思（おも）えるよう振（ふ）る舞（ま）うことで、その状態（じょうたい）を上手（うま）く続（つづ）けていこうという、一（ひと）つの作戦（さくせん）なのかもしれない。
もしかしたら、そのようなことは何（なに）も考（かんが）えておらず、彼（かれ）は彼（かれ）にとって自然（しぜん）に振（ふ）る舞（ま）っているだけなのかもしれない。

Considering he tries to use his smooth talking to approach women over and over, he comes across as a frivolous womanizer. Then again, he could perhaps simply be a gentleman who is very nice towards women. Or maybe - just maybe - he really is just a frivolous womanizer.

He has dated many women, but it does not seem like he considered any of them a proper relationship, and some of the things he says imply he is only playing up an act of being a gentleman.
Then again, he could be doing that on purpose as an excuse to continue thinking that way and not change his behavior.
Or, maybe, he is not thinking about any of this at all, and he really is just behaving in a natural way for him.

Decks

Simon uses a Chaos Deck in the first game.

When "Chaos Sorcerer" was Forbidden from the Advanced Format, Simon began using Highlander Decks - a Deck concept by which any card used is featured at only one copy. Once "Chaos Sorcerer" became legal once again many years later, Simon began using Chaos Decks again, now leaning more towards Cy-Caliber Decks. He continues using Highlander Decks as well until Tag Force 6.
