Bruyea

Bruyea (ブリュエア Buryuea) is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! anime. He is one of the Darkmen from the Dark Matter Empire and refers to himself as Bruyea of the Black Seas (黒（くろ）い海（うみ）のブリュエア Kuroi Umi no Buryuea).

Design

Bruyea is an aqua-skinned horned alien with dark green eyes and long forest green hair. He wears a forest green two-piece dress over a tight grey undersuit; the top half of the dress leaves his right arm bare under twin points and covers his left arm with a skintight sleeve, while the bottom half is hitched higher on the right side and only reaches his waist on the left side. He also wears black gloves and pants that cover his feet. As with all the Darkmen, Bruyea has a brooch on or embedded in his chest; his is an emerald in a gold flower brooch.

Bruyea can transform into a dark green panther-like form with aqua green facial markings.

Personality

Bruyea has a fascination with having a "mama", to the point of replacing the "Matter" in the names of his "Dark Matter" monsters with "Mama". He claims to feel loneliness without a mama, and has sought nine in the past, though whether they reciprocated his considerable affections or not is unclear.

As with all the Darkmen, Bruyea keeps his word once it is given, though he is somewhat more flexible compared to Sabyuas. While he answers most of the questions of the Valvelgear crew and agrees to leave Nyandestar alone for the time being, he withholds certain information and implies to Nyandestar that he will return.

Abilities

Bruyea can transform into a panther-like form. He can also assume a shadowy form, though his is more liquid-like in nature in comparison to Sabyuas.

Deck

Bruyea uses a Dark Matter Deck. His Dark Matter monsters are based on cephalopods and his strategy focuses on using the Continuous Effect of "Dark Matter Octopus" to reflect battle damage to his opponent by attacking with 0 ATK monsters while "Dark Matter Ocean" prevents their destruction.
